Background/Overview
The main objective of this project is to conduct a study on how Tash's Hair Salon contributes to
the economic development of Bethel Town. In 2017 Tash's hair salon was created by the
entrepreneur Tashagay Simons, in order to make a living. Tash provides hairdressing services to
the individuals of the Bethel Town community. This business has not only benefited the owner
but has given the community an easily accessible area in which they can take care of their needs.
The major service provided by Tash hair salon is the grooming of hair for both men and women.
This includes washing and combing of hair but Tash has also incorporated nail treatments,
styling, hair dying, trims and perms. One of Tash's frequent customer says that

Methodology
This information was collected using questionnaires, using a sample size of 2 employees, both
were female with ages ranging from 20-35 years and 5 customers 3 of which were females and
the remainder males
For a better insight on how the company is the manager also interviewed. The questionnaire
consists of close ended and dichotomous questions which would be easy with the analysis of the
data. The researcher also collected secondary data from the questionnaire
1. It was difficult for people to participate in my research because they were not interested
in filling out the questionnaires, most of them were in a hurry to do other activities while
the others were not clear as to what exactly they should do.
2. Data was lost in the research after the questionnaires were filled out, the participants
displaced the questionnaires that were given.
