DIGITAKT SOUND PACK

Enjoy! This Sound Pack contains a wide selection of samples, optimized for Digitakt.

Basic knowledge of Digitakt functionality is required. For more information, please consult the Digitakt User Manual, available for down-
load free of charge on the Elektron web, Support & Downloads Section.

TRANSFERRING THE SAMPLES


1. Connect Digitakt to the computer via USB. using the USB A to B cable. Please note that the Digitakt will not appear as an icon
on your computer desktop.
2. On the Digitakt, press SETTINGS, and navigate to MIDI CONFIG > PORT CONFIG, and then set INPUT FROM to USB or MIDI+USB.
3. On the computer, open the Elektron Transfer software (make sure you have the latest version, available for download on the
Elektron website), and then select the USB MIDI port(s) for your Digitakt on the Elektron Transfer start screen.
4. Drag and drop the samples to the Elektron Transfer main window. The samples will automatically be transferred to the +Drive
storage of the Digitakt. In the very bottom of the Transfer application window, you can change the target folder on the Digitakt.
The default value is /transfers-YYMMDD, which means you will get a folder with todays date.

LOADING THE SAMPLES TO YOUR DIGITAKT PROJECT


You can load one or several samples to the RAM memory of the Digitakt’s active project.
1. On the Digitakt, Press [SETTINGS], and then open the SAMPLES menu.
2. Open the directory you created when you transfered the samples to the Digitakt, and then navigate to the samples you want to load.
3. Highlight the samples, and then press [YES] to tick them. Any sample can be previewed (played back by the voice of the active
track), just highlight it and then press [FUNC] + [YES]. Approximately ten seconds of the sample can be previewed.
4. Press the [RIGHT] arrow key. A menu will appear on the right side of the screen.
5. Select LOAD TO PROJECT and press [YES]. The samples you selected (ticked) will now appear in the first available empty slots
out of the 127 sample slots of the active project.

The Sounds of the Digitakt sound packs remain the property of its manufacturer (Collectively, "Licensor") and are licensed to you as the original end-user ("Licensee"), for use subject to the pro-
visions below. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved exclusively by Licensor.

The Sounds in a category of 'Sound pack':


1. The Licensee may use the Sounds in combination with other sounds in music productions (which include soundtracks of such as films, video productions, radio/TV programs or commercials,
computer games and multimedia presentations, library music), public performances, and other reasonable musical purposes within musical compositions.
2. The Licensee may modify the Sounds and may use the Sounds for commercial purposes as part of a musical composition with other sounds.
3. The Licensee MAY NOT use the Sounds in isolation as sound effects (i.e. a sequence of musical events) or within any competitive products that are sold or relicensed to multiple third parties.
In these scenarios the Licensee must arrange an extension with Elektron Music Machines.
4. A right to use the sounds is granted only to the Licensee and is NOT transferable. This license expressly forbids resale, relicensing or other distribution of the Sounds, either as they exist or
any modification thereof. You cannot sell, loan, rent, lease, assign, upload to or download from any server, or transfer all or any of the enclosed sounds to another user, or for use in any compet-
itive product.
5. Licensor will not be responsible if the sounds does not fit the particular purpose of the Licensee.
