A PRAYER FOR WHEN I AM THANKFUL

God, thank You for this day! Thank You for the birds and the animals, the flowers and
the trees, the lakes and the streams, and the sun that rises and sets over them each
day. Thank You for creating everything we see! Thank You for the life we live, and for
making each person different. Thank You for Jesus, who died for us so that we can go
to heaven one day just for believing in Him. What an amazing God You are! In Jesus’
Name, Amen.

2. A Prayer for When I am Sad

God, I am sad. But You are good, and You are there. You listen to me when I cry. I can
cry to You and tell You what is wrong. Even when I don’t know what to say, I can just
pray, “Help me, God, I’m so sad.” You promise that whatever I am going through, You
will be there. Thank You for always loving me, even when I am really sad. Thank You
for this day, even though it’s not been the best day. Show me how to cheer up. Help me
to be happy. Help me to see and remember all of the good things You have blessed my
life with, and dry my tears. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

3. A Prayer for My Friend

God, Thank You for my friend. You tell us that it is not good to be alone, God, and bless
us with family and friends all around us. Thank You for giving us people to talk to and
laugh with. I pray for my friend today, that they have a good day and a blessed life.
They are a blessing to me, God, when I need them the most. Just like Jesus is to me.
Help me to be kind like Jesus. To be a good friend to others and spread His love. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

4. A Prayer for Help

God, Sometimes I don’t feel like talking about what’s wrong. I just want to be mad or
sad or frustrated. I would rather sit by myself. Sometimes, things feel too big for me to
figure out. Sometimes, life seems really unfair. I need Your help, God. You are the only
One who sees everything and knows everything. You are the only One who knows
everything about me. Can You help me to trust You, today? Please teach me how to
take what I feel and give it to You to sort out. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
5. A Prayer for My Sister
God, Thank You for my sister. You tell us that no family is put together by accident. That
the people in our lives are placed there by You. Thank You for making us sisters. Bless
us to be friends like only sisters can be, all the days of our lives. Help me to be a good
example for her, and to be there for her when she needs my support. Thank You for my
sister, God. Bless her today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

6. A Prayer for My Brother

God, Thank You for my brother. The people in our lives are placed there by You. You
love all of us like sons and daughters, more than we can understand! Thank You for my
brother. He is a very special person in my life. Someone who is fun to be around, but
also understands me. Our friendship is very special, and I look up to him very much.
Please bless him, Lord. Bless my brother, and keep him safe, today and always. In
Jesus’ Name, Amen.

7. A Prayer for My Grandparents

God, Thank You for my grandparents. I love spending time them. They always make me
feel special and are excited to see me. Please bless them to be healthy and strong.
Protect them from harm and keep them happy and safe until I see them again. When I
miss them, help me to remember all of the fun times we have when we are together.
Thank You, God, for my grandparents. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

8. A Prayer for My School

God, please bless my school. Thank You for all of the teachers that work so hard to
help us learn. Thank You for recess and lunchtime, when we get to play with our
friends. Thank You for providing a place where we can learn more about the world You
created for us to live in, and how it works. Please keep my school safe. Protect all of the
grown ups and kids that come to school everyday. Protect us from harm, and help us to
be kind to each other. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

9. A Prayer for My Mom

God, Thank You for my Mom. She helps me grow into the person You made me to be.
Even though I don’t always listen, I love her everyday… all of the time. Just like You
love us. She loves me even when I have good days, and when I’m bad. Help me to be
obedient, even when she tells me to do something I don’t want to do. Thank You for my
mom. Bless her to know how much I love her. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

10. A Prayer for My Dad

God, Thank You for my Dad. He guides me in life by his example and his helping hand.
He teaches me how to do things and helps me with my homework. He works hard at his
job for our family, and makes me laugh. Thank You so much for my dad. Please bless
him, God and let him know how much I love him. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Father, forgive my sins and give me grace to live a life that attracts your favour. By the blood of Jesus, I
receive cleansing from every deposit of rejection through sin. In the name of Jesus, I break the power of
evil magnetism and negative aura. I release myself from every association that is ministering disfavor
into my life. I reject and repent from any lifestyle that makes me to stink in the nostrils of God. Lord,
baptize me with the spirit of grace and supplication and favour. I reject the spirit of rejection, disfavor
and hatred in Jesus name. You seed of generational rejection and disfavor, die in my life in Jesus name.
Lord, perfume my life with your oil of favour. Thou favour of God upon my life, begin to displace people
for my sake. Favour of God, create strategic vacancies for me. You foundational spirit of hatred and
rejection in my life, die right now in Jesus name. Every seed of witchcraft in my life; die by fire. I
command every representation and mark of rejection in my life to burn and perish. Every seed of
rejection, hatred and failure in my life, I command you to be consumed. by the fire of God in the name
of Jesus. Every curse, spell, jinx, and enchantment of disfavour in my life, whether acquired, inherited,
ancestral or environmental, be destroy from my foundation in Jesus mighty name. Every spirit servicing
and enforcing disfavour, rejection and hatred in my life: be bound and liquidated by God’s fire in Jesus
name. Let the fire and thunder of God visit my foundations on both maternal and paternal sides. All you
invisible marks and labels of rejection and disfavour on any part of my body, be blotted out by the blood
of Jesus. Father, from henceforth, turn my disgrace into grace, my shame to fame, my labour to favour,
my story to glory, my pressure to pleasure and my pain to gain in Jesus name. Every area of my life that I
have lost to failure, I command to be restored in Jesus name. You spirits of rejection and hatred, loose
your grip over my life in the name of Jesus. It is written of me that because I meditate in God’s Word and
seek to do His will, anything I lay my hands upon shall succeed. Therefore, I reject the spirit of failure in
any area of my life. I am a success in life, ¬in my profession, in my career, in my business, and in my
marriage. Others might have failed, but I believe in a God that cannot fail. I am His child. I am working in
partnership with Him. Because He is on my side, I will not be a failure any more in Jesus name. I
command all my buried goodness, progress and prosperity to begin to resurrect in the mighty name of
Jesus. Father, I am a child of love, grace and favour; therefore, I refuse any form of rejection in Jesus
name. I break any spell, curse, jinx, and enchantment of failure and rejection in my life right now in Jesus
name. Father, perfume my life with the aroma of Christ, so that from now on good and helpful people
will be attracted to me in Jesus name. Holy Spirit, I enter into Your divine favour today. Let the oil of
Your favour begin to flow upon me. Everywhere I turn, let the doors be opened to me. Whatever I lay
my hands upon, let them succeed¬ in the name of the Lord Jesus. Father from now on, make it
impossible for anybody to say no to my sincere requests in Jesus name. Father, give everyone on any
panel or committee that will decide my case or cause a special favour and liking for me in Jesus name.
Lord, please, always plant your Gamaliel (Acts 5:33¬-40) in any committee or panel that will determine
my fate. I come against you spirit of rejection. Get out of my life in the name of Jesus. I am accepted in
the beloved. I am accepted in Christ. God loves me. He thinks about me. He has a plan for my life; and
that plan He will be fulfilled in Jesus name. I reject and dismiss the spirits of shame and mockery. Father,
put your favour and flavor in my voice, looks, appearance, and the works of my hands. Father, relocate
me from the place of disfavor to my place of favour and destiny I shall not be an abandoned project in
Jesus name. My destiny shall not be diverted in Jesus name. In Jesus name, you spirit of disfavour and
rejection, I break your power over my life. Lord, create strategic opportunity for my uplifting in life. I
shall never miss my timing, season and chances in Jesus name. Lord, raise for me godly destiny
supervisors. Helpers of my destiny arise. I break by fire every curse, spell and covenant of disfavor in
Jesus name. Like Daniel and Esther of old, Father, clothe me with the spirit of preference in Jesus mighty
name. Everywhere I go, the favour of God will make me an irresistible attraction and acceptance.
Uncommon favour of God shall attend unto all my requests, applications and prayers and appearances
in Jesus name. Where others have been rejected, I shall be accepted, where they’ve been abused and
condemned, I shall be praised and commended, where they’ve failed, I shall succeed, and where they’ve
been tolerated, I shall be celebrated because of God’s aroma of favour on me. My destiny shall not be
wasted in Jesus name. Wind of destiny; blow me to the correct location for my allocation in life. Thou
divine wind that blow Joseph, Esther and Daniel to their correct destinies, blow over me in Jesus name.
O thou God of grace and mercy, intervene in my destiny in Jesus name. Dear Holy Spirit, please always
give me spiritual network of prayers. My prayer requests will not go into the heavenly voice mail in Jesus
name. Thank you father for your quick answers to my prayers of favour; I receive by faith in Jesus’ name.

A Prayer for Blessing

Dear God,

Thank you for your great love and blessing over our lives. Thank you that your favor has no end, but it
lasts for our entire lifetime. Forgive us for sometimes forgetting that you are intimately acquainted with
all of our ways, that you know what concerns us, and you cover us as with a shield. We ask that we
would walk in your blessing and goodness today. That your face would shine on us. That you would open
the right doors for our lives and for our loved ones, that you would close the wrong doors and protect us
from those we need to walk away from. Establish the work of our hands and bring to fulfillment all that
you have given us to do in these days. We pray that you would make our way purposeful and our
footsteps firm out of your goodness and love. Give us a heart of wisdom to hear your voice, and make us
strong by your huge favor and grace.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen.

. Prayer for Personal Protection

Father, I come to You today, bowing in my heart, asking for protection from the evil one.
Lord, we are assailed moment by moment with images on television, the internet, books
and newspapers that leave us vulnerable to sin of every kind. Surround us with Your
divine hedge of protection. Encompass us round about with Your strength and Your
might. Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy. And may You
shelter us, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses
the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12)

Lord, I ask that You protect our minds. Father, the mindset on the flesh is death, but the
mindset on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) O God, set our minds on You. Let
us not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds that
we may prove what Your will is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
(Romans 12:2) Help us by the power of Your Spirit to think on whatever is true,
whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever
is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let our
minds dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

Strengthen us in the power of Your might, O God. Dress us in Your armor so that we
can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We know that our struggle is not
against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world
forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly
places. (Ephesians 6:10-12)
Prayer to God for Forgiveness of Sins

You are our keeper, O Lord, the shade on our right hand. Protect us from all evil and
keep our soul. Guard our going out and our coming in. From this time and forever. In
Jesus' name, Amen. – by Lynn Cooke

Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I
cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I
gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died
on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing
my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into
my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer in sincere faith, you may want to put your initials by the

trusting him as your Lord and Savior.

Prayer for Forgiving  Others

Dear Merciful Lord,
Thank you for your gift of forgiveness. Your only Son loved me enough to come to earth
and experience the worst pain imaginable so I could be forgiven. Your mercy flows to
me in spite of my faults and failures. Your Word says to “clothe yourselves with love,
which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” (Col. 3:14) Help me demonstrate
unconditional love today, even to those who hurt me.

I understand that even though I feel scarred, my emotions don’t have to control my
actions. Father, may Your sweet words saturate my mind and direct my thoughts. Help
me release the hurt and begin to love as Jesus loves. I want to see my offender through
my Savior’s eyes. If I can be forgiven, so can he. I understand there are no levels to
your love. We are all your children, and your desire is that none of us should perish.
You teach us to “let the peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts.” (Col. 3:15)
When I forgive in words, allow your Holy Spirit to fill my heart with peace. I pray this
peace that only comes from Jesus will rule in my heart, keeping out doubt and
questions. And above all, I am thankful. Not just today, not just this week, but always.
Thank you for the reminder, “Always be thankful.” (Col. 3:15) With gratitude I can draw
closer to you and let go of unforgiveness. With gratitude I can see the person who
caused my pain as a child of the Most High God. Loved and accepted. Help me find the
compassion that comes with true forgiveness.

And when I see the person who hurt me, bring this prayer back to my remembrance, so
I can take any ungodly thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ. (2 Cor.
10:5) And may the confidence of Christ in my heart guide me into the freedom of
forgiveness. I praise you for the work you are doing in my life, teaching and perfecting
my faith. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
