Supporting Documents: Aviation Quality Formats: QC Checks Form: Static

This document outlines quality control checks for aviation fuel storage tanks and filters. It describes 3 checks to be performed: 1) checking fuel storage tanks for water using water detection capsules after each fuel receipt, daily in the morning, and after heavy rainfall; 2) examining filter samples for water and sediment daily from gauge filters and filter separators/microfilters on tankage inlets; and 3) examining additional filter samples daily from outlets. Records of samples taken and any issues found are to be recorded on the form, with notes on allowing settling time before testing and documenting any water or sediment found.
