Así se debe configurar el Hyperterminal (En Windows XP, Usar el programa puTTY en

Windows Vista):

Es necesario introducir los siguientes comandos en el equipo conservando las mismas

Notas:
- El puerto Ethernet que se utilizará para recibir o realizar llamadas es el WAN, con
cualquier otro puerto no jala.
- Para configurarlo debe ser por Hyperterminal o Telnet conectando el cable serial
incluido con el equipo al puerto serial #2.
- Si los parámetros no aparecen en inglés, usar el siguiente comando:
o IAD(4)#set lang

Notas:
- El puerto Ethernet que se utilizará para recibir o realizar llamadas es el Puerto 1
(WAN), con el otro puerto no jala.
- Los puertos telefónicos a utilizar son del 5 al 8 para líneas telefónicas o
extensiones de conmutador, del 1 al 4 no se utilizarán.
- Para configurarlo debe ser por Hyperterminal o Telnet conectando el cable serial
incluido con el equipo al puerto serial.
- Si los parámetros no aparecen en inglés, usar el siguiente comando:
o IAD(8)#set lang

- Si el equipo no reconoce los comandos. Es porque no se le puso “enable” con
contraseña “admin” al principio, debe tener #.

CÓMO REALIZAR LAS PRUEBAS DE LOS EQUIPOS

Para comprobar el funcionamiento de los equipos es necesario conectarlos directamente


entre ellos (MG6004ET por WAN y MG6008 por puerto 1 de Ethernet) o a través de un
Switch / Hub con cable directo, conectarle al MG6008 una línea telefónica o extensión de
conmutador al socket telefónico #5 y un teléfono análogo convencional al MG6004ET en el
socket telefónico #1. Con eso, los equipos deben permitir realizar y recibir llamadas, de lo
contrario, contacte al Departamento de Ingeniería. Si se modifican las IP de los equipos
debe realizar los cambios necesarios en las configuraciones.
