Teachers aim to develop students' skills and abilities to become globally competitive. They teach students and mold them into what they want to be in the future. Students must be taught how to communicate their ideas and practice their skills. The teacher provides data to stimulate students' imaginations and allows them to form their own opinions. As a future teacher, the author believes they should equip students with different strategies and learning materials to deal with their community in various ways and bring out the best in students. The teaching profession requires 21st century skills like effective communication, learning, information technology, and life skills.

0 My Philosophy of Education

Teachers teach to develop learner’s skills and ability in order to become a


globally competitive person. In our community we need individuals who is skilled on
his/her profession. Teacher teaches learners to mold them in what they want to be in
the future.
Learners must be taught how to communicate his ideas and feelings in order to
practice his skills. This is a curriculum that “mold the students” needs a high quality of
education. In this philosophy, the teacher teaches learners step by step for them to
understand well the particular activity.
In my philosophy, learners will be given an activity to show their own skills and let
them learn on their own way. The teacher provides data to awaken the imagination of
the students and allow them to construct their own opinion. I as a future teacher should
equipped with enough skills and knowledge to develop individual capacity on how to
deal with their community. I should bring out the best in me, showcasing on what I have
and what should I do. I know how to deal with different learners with different strategies
and learning materials and facilities. I am not a doctor to save life nor attorney to protect
life but I do believe that I am a teacher to touch life. A life that is full of meaning and
purpose.
Establishing within myself the learning competencies that I have. I believe that I
am as a teacher is sensitive and a transformative one as we bring the journeys towards
the learner. I should open a door that is full of ideas for the future generation. I should
establish rules and regulations in the class in order to have a better classroom and a I
do believe that I should also build a harmonious relationship within my learners with
respect regardless of their race, culture and religion. I should also provide a conducive
learning environment for my learners to have a productive teaching and learning
process.
I am a competitive teacher, a soldier who fights for the future of the next
generation. May the Almighty God help me.

1.2 Reflection
In this course I realize that the teaching profession is different from the other
profession. I learned a lot of things in this course such like, how to become an effective
teacher. As a future educator, in our generation I must possess the 21 st century skills
such as; Effective Communication, Learning and Innovation, Information, Media and
technology, and Life and Career skills.

1.3 Learning competencies that you have acquired or develop in Ed110


In this course the learning competencies that I have acquired and develop is the
making of proper PPT with citation and reporting in front with potential. I also develop
my skills in communication specially when I reported my report in front because our
professor is asking so many questions for you to develop self-confident.
