Environmental Quality (Sewage and Industrial Effluents) (Amendment) REGULATIONS 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Environmental Quality Act 1974 [Act 127], the
Minister, after consultation with the environmental Quality Council, makes the following regulations:

1.  Citation and commencement.

(1) These regulations may be cited as the Environmental Quality (Sewage and Industrial Effluents)
(Amendment) Regulations 2000.

(2) These Regulations come into operation on 31 October 2000.

2.  Amendment of Third Schedule.

The Environmental Quality (Sewage and Industrial Effluents) Regulations 1979 [P. U. (A) 12/79] is
amended in the Third Schedule in relation to the metal specified as parameter (xvii) in columns (3) and (4)
by substituting for the word "1. 0" the word "2. 0".
