The Mock Job Interview Script

(Applicant enters.)

Interviewer: Good morning/afternoon. Please have a seat. I'm Sophie Anderson

And you are? My name is Myra Ilonah F. Galang

Thank you, Myra. This is going to be a very short and meaningful interview. I have just five questions for
you.

To begin, I'd like to talk about...( Select from the Getting-to- know-you questions)

1. What was your course and major in college, and why did you choose it?

(Applicant answers.) The course that I graduated is business management major in financial
management and the reason why I choose it is to have skills and knowledge in financial management
and to show what skills and knowledge that I have on your companies .

Interviewer: Let's move on and talk about your qualifications. ... ( Select from the questions about your
qualifications)

2. What specific qualifications do you have for this job?

(Applicant answers.) I can manage and handle my responsibility in this job. Through my knowledge and
skills I will apply it to make better my performance in this job.

Interviewer: Moving on with our interview, lets talk about your plans once you are hired in our company
( Select from the Forward Looking questions) .

3. If you were hired for this position, what would you do to ensure that you fit in?

(Applicant answers) through my knowledge and skills I can take the responsibility on this position and to
show on what can I give in this job to make it applicable and presentable in any task that you assigned.

4. How did you prepare for this interview?

(Applicant answers) Since booking this interview yesterday, I have been researching online, your
company history and your reviews with the requirements of this role that’s why I prepared and
confident myself to prove that I’m ready in any situation in this company.
Interviewer: Finally, I'd like to find out a little bit more about how well suited you are for this position....

5.. What kind of salary of salary do you expect?

While my highest career value is not money, it is important to me that I be fairly compensated for the
work I do. I would be willing to listen to a fair offer based on what I bring to the position in the way of
experience and education.

questions?

6. Why do you want to work here?

Interviewer answer: Honestly, I just need a job and this one looked interesting and I feel my skills are
particularly well-suited to this position and I believe I have the type of knowledge to succeed in this role
and at the company.

Interviewer: We will have to get back to you on that writing, but thank you for your interest. We'll be in
touch in a couple of days.

1. Tell me about yourself?


I graduated in Business Management major in Financial Management. I chose that field
of study because I’ve always been interested in finance and money, and my family members
told me it leads to great career options too.
2. What was your course and major in college, and why did you choose it?
The course that I graduated is business management major in financial management
and the reason why I choose it is to have skills and knowledge in financial management and to
show what skills and knowledge that I have on your companies .
3. If you could do it over again, would you stay in the same field? Why?
Overall, I would follow the same path. Choosing to major and pursue a career in Finance
was certainly the right path for me. I chose to find a job with large multinational companies
because I wanted to intimately understand how the Business management operated.
4. What are your greatest strengths?
My greatest strengths is I can handle and manage the responsibility in this company and
I will give a solution for the problem that encounter in this company.
5. What are some things you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I read some books and doing some sports like badminton. Spend time in Family and
friends, doing some physical exercise.

1. What specific qualifications do you have for this job?

I can manage and handle my responsibility in this job. Through my knowledge and skills I will apply
it to make better my performance in this job.

2. Can you talk about your previous work experience, whether part-time jobs or internships?

I have part-time jobs in Online Business so it’s very basic and a little bit hard because in online
business have many competence in product and some of their prices are high and low price.

3. What were your biggest achievements in college?


I have a good in communication in my college. And I think I am suitable in this field on the
company and I’m applicable in any kind’s task in this job.
4. Why should we hire you when there are other applicants with better credentials or more
experience?

For me I think is I will fit in beautifully and be a great addition to the team. I possess a
combination of skills that better in other people that have more experience. And I can keep up
with all the work in this company.

1. Where do you see yourself five years from now?


I want to explore and develop skills in operation management in five years and want to
have gained experience in leading projects for major clients. I will be looking for opportunities to
expand my responsibilities within this role to work towards my goal.

2. If you were hired for this position, what would you do to ensure that you fit in?
Through my knowledge and skills I can take the responsibility on this position and to
show on what I can give in this job to make it applicable and presentable in any task that you
assigned.

1. What are your greatest weaknesses?

My greatest weakness is when I have many task and working papers I’ve been pressured
and confusing. I’m not perfect in English, just a little bit. So its need to improve my skills in
English

2. Is there anything you would like to change about your personality? What is this and why?
For me I change also my communication skills and need to improvement and Figure out
exactly what I want to do with my life.
3. How did you prepare for this interview?
Since booking this interview yesterday, I have been researching online, your company
history, your reviews, the requirements of this role that’s why I prepared and confident myself
to prove that I’m ready in any situation in this company.
4. Have you ever faced an ethical dilemma? What did you do and how did you feel about it?
When I’m face ethical dilemma first is need to aware of all sides of the story, and
confide in people that close to me for their advice and opinions.
5. If a superior gave you instructions to do something in a particular way, and you knew that way
was wrong, what actions would you take?
I will correct his wrong approach and even he/she gave to me a wrong ways I have right
to say that she/he wrong because as employer I have right to explain and to right the
wrong ways of superior.

1. What kind of salary of salary do you expect?

My previous salary was depend on my part-time job and now I think it much bigger and easy earn
money in this job that based on my skill set, experience, and I research about this position that I
seeking salary range.
3. How much money do you expect to earn?
I think is depending on salary range in this company and maybe base on my performance on this
job. The money that I earn in this company is maybe can sustain my needs and In general, I expect a
salary that’s consistent with current employees at the same level. I think I can be a great asset to
this company.
