Academic Day 2020 Guidelines
Academic Day 2020 Guidelines
In connection with our upcoming End-of-School year assessment and with our newly
implemented Driven by Strategic Talent Management program, the high school department
must create a program of activities that targets the aforementioned agenda. The Academic
Day is our avenue to fully commit to these agenda. With this, we shall have a 2-Day
Academic Day on the 6th and 7th of April 2020. The guidelines and criteria upon making your
project are outlined below:
1. The high school teachers must deliberate and decide as to what subjects will be fused
in creating a performance task/ project to lessen the burden of the students. In case a
subject cannot be merged with another subject, the teacher will still make his/ her
own project.
2. The high school teachers shall make a project proposal of their final assessment/
activity. Upon making the project proposal the teachers must follow the GRASPS
model in building authentic tasks, to wit:
G Goal What task do I want the students to achieve?
R Role What’s the students’ role in the task?
A Audience Who are the students’ target audience?
S Situation What’s the context/situation? The challenge?
P Product/ What will students create or develop?
