WDA Lenormand Summit
Example of the Zodiac Wheel layout featuring the Old Style Lenormand
cards by Alexander Ray. Brief discussion of Derivative Houses technique
which I consider a more advanced study of the initial 12 Houses.

HOUSE 1: your client. Usually the issue at hand is revealed. Your client's
public face which often differs from their private face.

For example: Dog sitting in this House tells you the client projects a friendly
personality. You could be thinking about a close friend.
Mountain sitting in here tells you the client projects rigid outlook so the
reading may be a bit more of a challenge.

HOUSE 2: how your client earns their income. General overview of the
finances for the designated timeframe of the reading.

For example: Coffin sitting in this House reveals little activity with some
outlays of money. Not much progress with finances.
Clover sitting in here tells you there will be intermittent opportunities to
generate income. These are temporary job assignments or shift. Small
amount of money are forthcoming.

HOUSE 3: this is one of those Houses that rules many things such as
siblings and neighbours. Short distant travel. All form of communication.
(advanced technique) Derivative House for long distant travel of the partner
or spouse.

For example: Dog sitting in this House tells you the client is on friendly
terms with siblings or neighbours. There could be a short trip with a friend.
(advanced) The partner may travel to see a friend at a distance.
Mountain sitting in here tells communication between siblings is difficult.
Might be problems on the road pertaining to a local trip. (advanced) The
partner is advised against any long distant travelling or may have a trip
postponed.

The card from here on are seen in the image above.

HOUSE 4: the family and home environment. When asking a specific

question during the reading the card in this spot will tell you the outcome.
The Mother if she is the dominant parent. (advanced technique) illness of a
friend.

For example: Coffin sitting here can predict 'bad' news if other cards
support this. Things are at a standstill at home. No further developments
around a situation involving the Mother. Answer to a question: NO.
(advanced) a friend's condition shows little hope.

Clover passing through shows a more pleasant time with family dynamics.
It will short and sweet. The Mother could win at something. Answer to a
question: NOT FOR VERY LONG. (advanced) the friend will recover
temporarily.

House 5: core meanings Love, Children, Affairs, Gambling, Hobbies.

Clover sits here indicating love/affairs most likely are not long-lasting. The
client (or you) could have some brief luck at games of chance. It could be
favourable to conceive a child. Small amounts of money can be made with
hobbies or creative projects.

(advanced derivative House) death of the father can be seen here. Tough
decision whether to discuss this and if client asks you because the father is
ill and suffering you could offer a gently worded predictive statement. The
Clover show a quick passing.

House 6: main meaning health, work and small pets

Anchor transits here. Well-being is stable during the timeframe of reading.

Another way to look at this is if there is a condition it won't go away just yet.
No changes at work or with work. Actually, you could be bored with a job
you are doing.
(advanced) long-distance travel of a boss and because of career - looks
like there won't be much activity insofar a trips.

House 7: marriage, partnerships, contracts. Open enemies.

Our friend the Snake card decides to visit here. You mate is messing
around with another woman. Be careful when signing contracts. You
business partner might be lying to you.
(advanced) Children of siblings might be causing some trouble or stirring
things up.

House 8: Their money. Death/rebirth. Inheritance. Taxes. Bankruptcy.

Surgeons.

The Letter card visiting this house indicates a formal letter or document
needs to be addressed by the client. If this House did represent a surgeon
(only if the remainder of layout suggests this is a possibility), you can
expect a letter from his/her office.
The letter could be very good news about money gifted to you as in a will.
On the other hand it could show you owe some taxes.
(advanced)To arrive at some information about an Illness of a sibling the
Letter card points to news (text, etc) you will be getting about that. This
could be results from some testing. You would have to study House 3
further since it rules siblings.

9th House: This house represents many things as well. Higher education.
One’s belief system. Publishing. Foreign situations. Long distance travel.
The 3rd child.

The Child card shows a new situation developing. It can indicate a long trip
which is short. For your child if you have 3 it suggests a more immature
personality. He/she would be more dependant. There can connections with
a university or college, however, not the actual facility. That is ruled by
House 12 (large institutions)
(advanced) Some read this House as the health of the mother when the
client asks this question specifically.
Best not to focus too much on the advanced (Derivative Houses). Get real
comfortable just reading the 12 Zodiac Houses and their meanings plus
how to interpret the Lenormand cards in there.

Before I continue with the post I want to mention that the cards in the
Zodiac Wheel Houses are all connected in some. The reason for this is
because all the Houses reveal aspects of the client's (your) life.

House #10: the career, ambition, achievements, the Father (if the
dominant parent)

Stars: what a wonderful card to have in this position. You client will achieve
good success in their career. He/she is reaching for a 'total picture' wish.
What I mean by this is that it would be the wish at the end of the rainbow.
Recognition and approval is assured. Some assign fame to the Stars card
and others to the Moon card. Fame is all about being recognized for your
accomplishments.
The Father could be instrumental in the client achieving his/her career
goals.
(advanced Derivative Houses) if there is a Mother-in-law she is being very
supportive.

House #11: friends, community, groups, the Wish.

Clouds: this card poses a bit of a problem. There are many uncertainties
with the various topics of this House. Relationships with friends could be
strained. Efforts in community or group projects go unnoticed. Now is not
the time for your wish fulfillment.

(advanced) although not recommended to do this some of the more

experienced Astrologers will tell the client about the Mother's end of life
situation but only if asked specifically. Maybe the Mother is gravely ill and
suffering the client wants to know how much longer. The Clouds do not give
a clear answer because there may be other things going on that may
surprisingly improve the Mother's condition. Often it is not as it seems.
There is a higher power that has the last say.

House #12: unknown, concealed, large institutions, limitations.

Cross: one of the negative cards in a more negative House. Endings,

conclusions, suffering, karmic tests. Actually this card could represent a
church or even a funeral home. If we were to look at from a subconscious

point of view the Cross shows unresolved issues from a past life that are in
the process of completion.

(advanced) the illness of your partner/spouse etc is shown here but only if
asked specifically after the initial 12 House reading is completed. The
Cross shows a 'twist' to his/her demise. What I mean by that it is strongly
connected to Karma.

This concludes the study of the Zodiac Wheel Lenormand layout. I will
provide a downloadable printout prior to the WDA Lenormand Summit 'live'
on Sunday Aug 16 @ 5PM EDT since not all students are members of the
Lenormand Cards Community study group.
