To change the password in Symantec Backup Exec, follow these steps: 1) Open ServicesMgr.exe from the Backup Exec shortcut and go to Services Credentials to change the password. 2) Start all services with the new password and open Backup Exec. 3) Select the System Logon Account, click Edit, enter the new password, and click OK to complete the password change.

Procedure To Be Followed

For changing Password In Symantec Backup Exec

Step-1:Right click on the Symantec backup shortcut on desktop, go to find target and
double click on ServicesMgr.exe

Step-2: In ServicesMgr.exe click on Services Credentials and change the password after
changing password in service credential start the services by clicking on Start
all Services.
Step-3: Start backup exec software. Then go to Network>Logon Account

Step-4: Select System Logon Account and click on Edit


Step-5: Click on Change Password Enter the new password and say ok
