LOCATION :

WORKING AT HEIGHT : GROUND LEVEL (AND) 13 MTR HEIGHT

USAGE OF MATERIAL : Cable Tray, Gripple ,Light fitting, Wires& Cables

TOOLS& EQUPMENTS : HAMMER, SCAFFOLDING, SPANNER.SCISSOR LIFT

POWER TOOLS : CUTTING M/C, TESTER, CUTTING PLIER.


USAGE OF PPE : HELMET, SHOE, REFLECTIVE JACKET HAND
GLOVESE, GOGGLES.

WORK INVOLVEMENT : SITE ENGINEER

: SAFETY OFFICER

: SITE SUPERVISOR

ERECTION OF ALL WORKS

1. JOB PROCEDURE

 Based on the daily work program schedule usage of quality of material


is been taken place.
 The required material had shifting from the storage yard to work
place.(Permissible of 20 kgs. per person)
 Based on the drawing physically location are identified and light fitting
are erected on site
 The light fitting are being hanged with the help of support (clamp,
Gripple rod-stud)
 Proper Scaffolding& Scissor lift will be positioned on the work location
 Height work Permit& Night work permit will be obtained on Daily
basis
 The power hand tools will be checked for healthiness of Electrical
System
 Before leaving work place sharp materials and cut pieces are removed
and stored in scrap yard.

2. SAFETY PROCEDURE
 All workmen Involved in the operation Should be screened /inducted
 Before start of the work proper PPEs given to the workers
 Inspect work/walk area for potential slip and trip fall obstructions prior
to start of work and remove ,if not possible mark with visible tape/
signage
 Before start of the work Tool box talk to be given
 Permit (height &hot work) to be done before start of the work.
 All persons should wear full body safety harness while working at
height (2 MTR to 13 MTR level).
 Cleaning for the flammable Material before start welding work
 Scaffolds and working platforms shall be erected, altered and
dismantled under the supervision of the competent person
 All bracing shall be in position and lock properly
 Scaffold must be inspected and tag to be used (GREEN-Safe for use,
RED-not in use)
 Don’t move the scaffolding while persons working at height
 Fire Extinguisher shall be in working Area
 Engaged to fire watcher
 Never allow the scaffold to run over the electrical cable
 Do not used damaged and defective sockets
 Switch on after plug in , switch off before plug out
 Call the electrician if any work needs to the done in DB
 Check the power supply is off before change in blade and drill bit
 Cleaning of all debris and waste material after complete to the work.
 Adequate Lighting provided for all areas

3. BASIC MANDATORY PPE’S:


Helmet, shoes, hand gloves, goggles, nose mask, jacket

4. HEIGHT WORK PPE’S:


Full body Safety Harness, life line rope, fall arrester
5. HOT WORK PPE’S:
Face shield, goggles, cotton gloves & nose mask.
