The Compassionate Lord :


Putana got mercy –How lord ignores poison part:
All over the scriptures. It is said that the Supreme Lord is very compassionately disposed towards his devotees. And his
nature is to always close his eyes when he sees some deficiencies in devotees and to broadly open his eyes and practically
exaggerate ,if they do even insignificant service for him also, on practical proof is ,how when lord Krishna was lying on
the lap of Yashoda and Putana came to kill him. So Krishna closed his eyes as soon as he saw Putana because he did not
want to think about the fact that Putana is trying to kill him. But on the other hand, later he opened his eyes, because she
had come with a desire to offer him milk .Isn’t it So, it is said that lord Krishna took the milk part of Putana. And lord
Shiva took the poison in part. because Shiva is also an expansion of Krishna. In this way, one of the ansha of Krishna took
away the poison part, and Krishna took the milk part and he appreciated that and he gave her the position of darti in the
spirituals sky you can see like that. So, there are many examples like this.
Deliverence of Ajamilah :
Another example is, we all know when, Ajamilah chanted the name Narayana. That was immediately taken note by like
not enough. She admitted all the wishes with us, go immediately to save my devotee he was calling my name. And they
said sorry he's not calling your name is calling his last son's name, due to his material attachment for his son, which you
said you're not very sure but you go and check it. It’s likely that he might be calling my name. Let us give some benefit of
doubt. Go and find out immediately go immediately sender. So, this past time goes to show how much Lord Vishnu is
eager to take us back to godhead, than our eagerness for. First, our eagerness for going back to him.

“Lord is more eager to see us back in the spiritual world than our eagerness for going back to him.”

See if our eagerness is one unit, Krishna’s eagerness is thousand Units to take us back to him. He's more eager to see us
back in the spiritual world and our eagerness for going back to him.

Causeless Mercy of a Vaishnava:


Story of a person : Yamaraja checked something in his account
I was recently hearing one story from Shrimad Bhagavad Purana .The story goes like this one very simple person, very
well to do persons but very sinful person indulging in all kinds of drinking, smoking and bad habits degraded very
degraded cheating you know mishandling woman all kinds of things he was doing. So all his life he was accumulating a
huge quantity of sinful reactions. But at the end of his life when the Yamakiṅkara (यमकिङ्कर) (a messenger of death)
came to take him back. Generally Yamaraja doesn't come. But the Yamakiṅkaras are about to take him out of his body at
the time Yamaraja suddenly appeared on the back of Buffalo, which is his vahan. So, Yamaraja stopped them and said,
wait a minute there is something in his account.
Just Two minutes Association of a Vaishnava :
Two minutes he has done some good activity in his life, So how to clearly think about his destination I need a little time.
So then Yamaraja calculated and he told to this gentleman, see one day you were taking a big scissor and trimming the,
you know, plants in your garden you know they do like this. At that time a vaishnava was passing by ,and vaishnava
looked into your garden and he saw colorful and fragrant flowers in your garden. So he just , pipped and he asked you sir,
can I get a couple of those flowers, I want to offer to my lord Govinda. And then you said, never mind. Not a great deal.
And I have so many flowers just he plucked two flowers and gave it to him, and then he offered to Lord Krishna those
flowers, and that is to your credit. So for the two minutes of that transaction you had with a vaishnava, the result is that for
five minutes you have Swarga-vas. And then he asked really an Naraka-vas he said ohh that's a very long period of time,
long long period. We are here to estimate how many number of years you have to go to Naraka-vas so Yamaraj said I
don't want to make any miscalculation.
Five minutes Swarga-vas : Got mesmerised for 1 minute
So five minutes Swarga-vas and then Naraka-vas so you have the choice where to go first. So this man was amazed really
All my life I lead a very sinful life and for this two minute tact I am being sent to heaven. Wonderful ! he had always
thought about heaven. He said yes I'm very eager to go I heard Nandanandana gardens are there Apsaras and Indra is there
they are all beautiful places so please send me there immediately. We will see Naraka later now let's go to Swarga now.
So he immediately was taken to Swarga. So he went to Swarga he saw beautiful waterfalls beautiful lakes and beautiful
gardens and apsaras associating and playing some of them are dancing and some demigods were having mukuta Kundla
and beautiful, handsome bodies and somebody is wearing all jewellery and very attractive dresses and garlands are flying
in planes with their concerts. He didn't know which one to see first looking all around. And then He saw his clock and one
minute was over already.(devotees laugh)
He did something special in next four minutes : increased bhakti sukruti
He thought what to do for the next four minutes something worthy I should do in heaven. But even if I try to enjoy there is
not enough time to enjoy. Then immediately his site fell on Nandanandana garden and another gardens where he entered
was so fragrant and so he entered the gardens. One thought came to his mind while I was in the garden I plucked the
couple of flowers and gave it to vaishnava over there. I didn't give it to him he asked me. So this is the beauty of a
vaishnava, vaishnavas are very intelligent to trick someone into coming into devotional service. That vaishnava was
singing and very happy in his own world going. But then he looked at the garden and this fellow was watering and
trimming. He knew that he was a hardcore materialist. And he has no interest in god but He wanted to pull him into
Krishna’s service. So vaishnavas are very intelligent they pull someone into Krishna’s service by requesting something
from them, can you please give me a couple of flowers ? Can’t one buy in the market though flowers are not going to be
too costly .But they like to bring everybody to devotional service. So he said, can you please give these couple of flowers.
So he asked then I gave. And for that I got five minutes Swarga-vas can you imagine what will happen if I on my own I
offer. So thinking like this, when he went to Nandandana garden immediately found a scissor there he took the scissor.
And there are plenty of flowers he started cutting the flowers 1,2,3,4,… and offering keshavaya namah narayanaya namah
madhavaya namaha (devotees laugh) like that he was throwing in the sky and closing his eyes offering to Krishna with
great reverence and respect. And it was going on and on he looked at his watch it has already crossed 12 minutes. What
happened five minutes I'm supposed to forgive us.
Naraka-vasa got cancelled :
Now I'm crossing 12 minutes, why Yamaraja had not yet come, Ok as long as he doesn't come I'll keep offering. He
continued offering. And then a messenger came arrived there and said, Sir,I wanted to draw your attention he said What
is it, is it Yamaraja .No, not Yamaraja some demigod had come .He brought a chit and he opened the chit and said, you
know, you are allotted Five Minutes in Heaven. But out of that four minutes you spent serving Lord Krishna in heaven,
and that to calling out his holy names and doing arcana for him. And you have increased your bhakti sukriti so much that
you are travel to Narka is cancelled. (devotees: Hari bol..). And inside also you will be allowed to live for a long long
time. And if you utilize it in full Krishna consciousness in this very life Vaikuntha plane will take you back to Godhead.
Your servant Yamaraj Das(devorees laugh..).Actually, you know, Yamaraj didn't want to show his face also here just, he
wrote a chit and gave it to demigod. Means Yamaraja felt little ashamed How can Yamakiṅkara and myself could go and
show our face to somebody who is offering worship to Krishna like this .See,( where is my water bottle) In this way you
will find this three examples of Krishna magnanimity, beginning with Putana, subsequently Ajamilah And this fellow in
going to heaven and offering pushp in Krishna’s service.
Krishna is hearing everything :
So, by these examples, what we learn is Krishna is eagerness to take us back to him to his abode, even when we do a little
bit of service. So, these are very encouraging into our spiritual lives that we are rendering some devotional service. Many
times we may wonder Oh I am chanting Hare Krishna, Is Krishna really hearing. Because I am not able to hear properly.
Whether we hear or not he surely hears, sometimes you know, we may dose away and will not be able to hear, but if you
are chanting and dozing but Krishna hears that surely. At least he is happy that this fellow is chanting somehow, some
name with at least he is struggling to chant he is very happy about that. So, I wanted to speak one section of this past
time of Ajamilah, a very important section connected to today's theme. See the Lord is so magnanimous so merciful but
he says one very important thing in shastra. He says , muktiṁ dadāti karhicit sma na bhakti-yogam [S.B-5.6.18] He says,
(In hindi) bhagvan mukti bhi de dete hai lekin bhakti nahi dete
Where did Jayananda gone??
He says, which means when you do some little devotional service, you know, you find that Prabhupada says if you do
little devotional service. And a lot of material desires in the heart, where do we go ,Heaven when a devotee is asked when
Jayananda passed away Prabhpada was there and devotees asked Prabhupada where did Jayananda gone ,Prabhupada said
he have gone to heaven. Devotees were Shocked heaven.. Prabhupada.., Dayananda did this surveys he did that service he
made carts. And he was like this he was like that he was such a wonderful everybody loved him and propose it as if he has
become completely purified. And he has little purification to happen then he'll be born in the family of devotees. Even if,
99%, and you didn't complete, then you'll be born in the family vaishnavas. And then complete the term and then go back
to God.
Why people go to Swarga ?
And or if you did little devotional service, and he had many material desires, then he would have gone to heaven, and why
people go to heaven to fulfil their material desires and when the material desire fulfil, then they are born in
prāpya puṇya-kṛtāṁ lokān
uṣitvā śāśvatīḥ samāḥ
śucīnāṁ śrīmatāṁ gehe
yoga-bhraṣṭo ’bhijāyate
[B.G-6.41]

See in the fifth canto of Shrimad Bhagavatam. The verse ,I think it's a prayer by the kimpurusha-loka-vasis .

Kimpurusa-loka :
There is one Kimpurusa-loka, how it became Kimpurusa. One monkey was walking and speaking so others watched him
and said, He's a monkey and he's also speaking is a speaking monkey, who is this person Kimpurusha, then it became
Kimpurusa-loka what kind of person is this. So in Kimpurusa-loka all the residents are having monkey like bodies and the
chief is Hanuman. So he's from Kimpurusa-loka only ,hanuman. The deity they worship His Lord Rama Chandra in one
of the varshas , he will read. So, in that gathering of discussion, they are saying, Lord is called as sukrutajya the meaning
of the word sukrutajya means one who is very easily pleasable. Easy to be pleased. It doesn't take much for anyone to
please him. See some people, very difficult to please this much work we do , and he look at him and said, how do you feel
now ,(In hindi) thik hai… , this much you do, now what you say a palace out for it. Now I have done this much why do
you say now. (In hindi) thik hai aur bhi karke dhikhao. Understand very difficult to please. This is true in many
relationships very much.
It is very easy to satisfy krishna than our material desires :
Example of a Brahmachari : Expectations of family members
Like for example, there was one brahmacari in those days in our Ashrama white brahmacari, white means not American
Indian brahmacari with white dress (devotees laugh). So, this fellow's parents were somewhere. And they were telling him
.Beta, You know, you have to come home your mother is admitted to the hospital very sick and everything. So his heart
started softening. And he came and asked me, I want to go home yes, you can surely go then he went home for a week
from that he called and said, they're telling me to extend by two more weeks . Take care of yourself , one week itself a
long period, two more weeks are going others still in the hospital I'm taking care, that's your duty you are the one listening
should do to moderate estate and the mother got all right and returned home. But she told him that you don't go back to
Puna you'll be here only now. So three months they kept him. Then after that he came to Puna. Then he said three months
is too long a period for somebody to go home. But then he didn't come home to join.
Brahmacari and Grahastha both are ecstatic :
He came home and he said that, my parents have told me that better I get married. Then, I said you can get married. We
have no problem in that. I appreciate if somebody wants to marry, or want to be a brahmacari anyone in between we are
afraid. If doesn't want to marry but want to do something that is very dangerous Brahmacari, ecstatic, Grahastha that is
also ecstatic. May be static or ecstatic depending on how they spend their life. But somebody is Brahmacari , but looking
streching the neck out of the window that is danger. I said if you say you are clear about marriage I have no problem I'm
very happy, you get married. But take care of your Krishna consciousness then he went to his place, and the mother was
happy.
He got frustrated:
And then he started working in some teaching job. But the mother said three years, four years he worked, what is this
teaching job. Look at your cousin. He's working in a software company he is making so much money he's in prestigious
position he has a big car and everything What are you doing, and he said ok mom whatever you want to work if you want
me to study higher studies ,and I will go for a bigger job, and eventually started earning big money, practically 14 hours a
day we'll do our brother my mother said, and they wanted to get him married he got married also, then mother said, what
is the use you are living in our house only you should have your own house. He said, Mom, I am the only son, and sister is
married and settled also. Now next to father and you I am the varis, you know, so can’t I live in this house she said no no
no, you should stand on your own leg, which is get your own house. Then he came and asked me, probably letting me on
was miss out to take a loan and everything I said the best thing to come to Puna take a house near the temple. And now
you will be able to practice till now your parents are far away in your own town. This is a very good idea for you can
come. Then he told his mother I am taking a loan. Here is a loan. Now I will take a house in Puna. Oh, you cannot take
house in Puna. You should take house next to our house. They said there only alas…. And he took a house next to their
house , you know, and living there and paying back the loan and completely frustrated. And he said, Mother would come
and say, do this, do that expand your material life prove this prove that. He said I got fed up in life.
How Krishna is very easy to please ?
So when he came I was telling him, Krishna is very easy to please you just give one tulasi leaf to him he become satisfied.
Is that, is there anybody in this world you give a tulasi leaf if they say thank you to you, they're satisfied? So, Krishna is a
person, give him little milk. Bow down to him with love. He is happy, although he is the biggest personality, amazing no,
he's the master the whole universe and is satisfied with the tulasi and milk. Whereas people who are told to people you
know they are playing the drama of your, you know, so many different letters, but then the expectations are very high, you
see. So in this way. The large expectation from the devotees very little, and he's very easily available. As I said at the
same time. One thing we should remember muktiṁ dadāti karhicit sma na bhakti-yogam [S.B-5.6.18] (In hindi…) mukti
bhi de dete hai bhagvan lekin bhakti nahi dete karan kya hai ye bhagvan ko bhandata hai Bhakti binds the lord and
controls a lot. That's why he doesn't give it to anybody. Because we all don't like to be controlled. But if somebody really
deserves bhakti, then the lord gives. If you feel that there is a devotee, or I like his paavana, for me, and he is completely
pure. He doesn't get distracted by anyone else. He is always like this .

Krishna: A joulous lover-


Sarvabhaum Parabhu was telling one nice example. He said people worship different different demigods. And then
finally, after many lifetimes they come to Krishna’s feet all one very nice example, he said.
Example of a young girl :
When a girl is less than 14 or 15 years, she roams with many boys. She makes boyfriend so many boyfriends in the
college roams jokes laughs goes to watch the movie everything you know. And she has a lot of fun, especially the
beginning of teenage 13,14,15,16 or something like that. But then when she attends puberty and her mother wants and
also other relatives want get you have to be careful you cannot mix too closely with other boys, some danger, danger will
happen. Be careful cautious. See visitors from other. And then she's married to a man to whom she dedicates her whole
life fully after that. Somebody said, going to different demigods is like going to different boys. Enjoying with different
vibe This boy is very beautiful this boy is wise or intelligent or he gives me a lot of gifts I will enjoy she goes to different
different people.
From Anath to Sanath :
But then, when, when she attains maturity puberty is equal to maturity and one attains maturity in religion, and one
understands that, heyy… what are these demigods that are giving some temporary perishable objects. I am looking for
something like mukti or beyond. Then one become mature and withdraws from that. And then one becomes a little more
focused. And then when one gets the Nath (master) till then one Anath. And one gets later on thee lord as the husband and
to satatam pati,then one becomes Sanath (having a master father) correct no. Then once a person Garland's Krishna and
surrenders his heart and mind to him. Then one never turns to any demigods at all, It’s is not that a wife will not serve
other men, but she will serve other men only on the request of her husband. If he says bring tea for all these fellows who
are my colleagues Okay, she'll bring some deals out there is it not true. But she has no relationship with them, her
relationship with them is only based on their connection with her husband. You all understood this or bewildering
example. (Devotees laugh) Because you have not heard such examples. Sarvabhaum prabhu’s example,but I also liked it
so I quoted that
Prabhupada gave a dangerous example :
Prabhupad says another dangerous similar example I'll tell tell you, Prabhupad is asking, in one lecture about somebody
asking one man to Parabhupad (In hindi )Swamiji krisha to thik hai lekin shivji hai thik hai ,ganesh bhi thik hai......
Prabhupad asking the same thing. (In hindi...) dekho apko patni hai apko prem krti hai agar wo bolata hai ki ye pati bhi
chalata hai wo bhi chalata hai to kya apko chalegi (Devotees laugh),like that you know (apki ichha kya hai apko krishna
ki Sharan jana chahiye to krishna ki hi sharan jana chahiye ,krishna hi hamare pati hai . Right no, See these are little
dangerous example but actually they are true. So surrender only to. So, in this way, Krishna is called as a jealous lover.
Real meaning of jealous lover : Yashoda’s example
In the Nectar of Devotion, Bhakti Rasamrit Sindhu Rupa Goswami explains what is the meaning of jealous lover. He
wants you to love one only him. And nobody else. You may wonder why Krishna is like this. You see, Even you are also
like that only. You also want anyone who loves you to love you first, and then everyone else next up like, you have seen,
Krishna as a small child was drawing the attention of Yashoda . He saw Mother Yashoda that pulled her side from behind.
When she was like talking to him like this turning and doing this manthan and also she was doing. So Krishna saw Oh,
you are paying so much attention to you are churning and then you are just making a show of attention to me. Watch what
I will do and then he went around and he caught hold of the stick. And then she was doing like this but stick was not
rotating. And then she will open our eyes and saw a nice sound is not coming. Then she saw crystals holding and giving a
beaming smile now. And now what you will do now that he was holding. She was very happy seeing that why because my
child has become so strong that he can hold us think that even I cannot rotate it. She was very happy that when she's
growing. She's very happy. But it was like, what they say. The purpose of Krishna holding that stick means till now she
was turning, turning the turning represents mental circulation.
Krishna wants exclusive Attention:
Everybody everybody's speculating trying maybe goddesses never decided that maybe demigod maybe Brahma Jyoti in I
will do the yoga Yogi said this different there, that is like mental speculation. Suddenly, and one goes to vaishnava
Acharya thakk.., he, you know, then Krishna holds on to that means stop all this speculation surrender to me Mam eka
sharanam vrja Yeah, that's why the demand and that's the meaning of that Then, Yashoda stopped that work and picked
up krishna and put him on her lap render service. So, this is why krishna is called as jealous lover he wants a one pointed
attention, without seeing can you imagine when we are chanting, how our mind is going berserk. Do yoh think, krishna
will be happy. Are I am saying that you should pay attention to me this fellow was paying attention to everything other
than me. Is it not true. So you cannot attend Krishna very easily. Unless we work on one pointed that attention.
ananya-cetāḥ Satatam
yo māṁ smarati nityaśaḥ
tasyāhaṁ sulabhaḥ pārtha
nitya-yuktasya yogina
[B.G. 8.14]
ananya-cetāḥ means in your consciousness, there should be no other attraction or distraction, with the one pointed
attention you should, you know, look at me. And ekagrat cittah ke sath ananya-cetāḥ . And then he says, Satatam always
is 24 hours a day. yo māṁ smarati nityaśaḥ . Every day, nitya means all the time. Satatam is also like that. And then he's
saying tasyāhaṁ sulabhaḥ pārtha again he is saying nityaśaḥ one more time he is saying nityaśaḥa already he told nitya
in the first line you engage constantly in my service. yogina, that yogina only can attend me.

Krishna : The number one priority-


So, when you want Krishna, as the number one thing in your life you get him if he's even second or third you don't get
him. Like you know, somebody has 25 priorities in life. You know, first, how to get good marks in the exam, get a job and
get married and please Mother, please Father, please Uncle, please sister Please brother visitor please society please boss
so many things. And also I will do my chanting Hare Krishna 25th the priority for many people is like that. So, we should
keep Krishna as our top priority. All other priorities should be lower than that like sometimes if you are in mode of
goodness, then there can be many good items which may be our priorities.
Different different priorities :
Like for example, we emphasise that everything should be done in a proper manner. Some people feel like that. So
perfection is to be said that is also one goodness priority in goodness you wanted everything in goodness. Similarly
somebody feels everything should be in disciplined. So that discipline is also one priority. Similar somebody feels, you
should be nice to everybody. So that is also one priority, Similarly there can be, you know, social service also somebody
feels that Indian culture should be protected. That is also one priority. It's a good priority. It's not wrong. And somebody
feels that the cow should be protected. That's also a good priority. Somebody says what is this this fertiliser and
everything is bad we should come back to organic . That is also a nice priority. But these are all mode of goodness
priorities.
Shuddha priority :
But what is the shuddha priority, you know , Krishna and Krishna alone is our focus. That is why sometimes we may mix
up “Over

Krishna as I told a jealous lover. exclusive appreciation of Krishna should increase”
Direct devotional service and stepping stones towards it :
If you see is that I am loving something other than Him then He will not give himself to us very easily see the saintliness
is not included in 64 items of devotional service Do you know that. Do you know that varanashrama is not included in 64
items Austerities are not included in 64 items, you will see that even you'll be amazed. These are important items but why
they're not included. These are not direct devotional service by doing these can be stepping stones to devotion service,
Like if I have saintly qualities, it can help me to become Krishna conscious. If I'm following varanashrama Dharma
Brahmacharya strictly Brahmacharya is not included there in 64 items, joining ashram doesn't asure you back to
Godhead, and getting married doesn't assure you not going back to godhead also, because these things are not included in
64 items because a brahmacari life can give you more time to devote for Krishna, but only when you become an exclusive
lover of Krishna then only can go back to Godhead, if somebody has come to brahmacari ashram and is doing something
else, like I go to the Bhaktivedanta hospital, you know, I go to the top floor ground floor middle floor everywhere I go for
rounds and then all day stay there and come back will I get cured of my disease. How to meet a doctor, take some
medicine, he did and only then I can cure no. Certainly we can enter into the four walls of VOICE or ISKCON anywhere.
And then we do all, you know, we are doing many wonderful things so wonderful prashad, wonderful mridangam
wonderful kartal, but then we don't have exclusive focus on developing our attraction for Krishna. Then what is likely to
happen we were around for some time, but what we did is very important. So over the period of time, the understanding of
Krishna and attraction for Krishna and surrender to Krishna and exclusive appreciation of Krishna should increase. I see
progress in our life. All other things are good.
You can fall down if not exclusively devoted :
Somebody says cow production they take it as a main thing No problem, back in a while why we love cow production of
course because Krishna is Govinda, he loves cows. If Krishna is forgotten then cow production is not Krishna
consciousness you see should be very the mode of goodness things should not be imagined to be devotional service like
no, if I am coming from pious family brahmana family. I cannot go back to God, because that is not to Krishna
consciousness, but that can help me in my devotional service. You understand, if somebody is very humble somebody is
very selfless, somebody is very simple somebody is very austere. Somebody is very learner can quote shastra. Can he go
back to Godhead, Ajamilah had all of this ajamilah, but he fell to prey also because he was not exclusively devoted to
Krishna. You understand, he was doing some kind of worship of Vishnu, but not with much understanding. So here I'm
going to bring one important point now. So two points were discussed till now. The first point is that Krishna, you know,
appreciates anything what devotees does even in small quantities like appreciated Putana, Ajamilah that fellow who went
to heaven, offering flower to Krishna. Then the next the next to that I was telling you that. But Krishna ,Krishna appears
to be easily approachable, he himself has proved in the shastras and Sukhadeva Goswami tells Parikshit that , muktiṁ
dadāti karhicit sma na bhakti-yogam [S.B 5.6.18](In hindi) mukti bhi de dete hai bhagvan lekin bhakti nahi dete karan
kya hai and the reason is many people appear like devotees but actually the real devotion service means to know,
Krishna’s heart. Krishna is a jealous lover he wants exclusive attention.
Why you see a jealous lover like this :
And when you, you may say that a why you see a jealous lover like this. There is a reason for it. Because when you give
yourself hundred percent to him. He gives himself hundred percent to you, all of you repeat after me.
sādhavo hṛdayaṁ mahyaṁ
sādhūnāṁ hṛdayaṁ tv aham
mad-anyat te na jānanti
nāhaṁ tebhyo manāg api
[S.B.9.4.68]
O .. dvija Brahmana Durvasa, he told him, my devotees are in my heart and I am in the heart of my devotees. They do not
know anything other than me, and I do not know anything other than them. This is our relationship, he said.
What is madness ? Example of a boy mad for a girl :
Just like sometimes a boy has developed attraction for a girl. He becomes practically mad, you can see that, you know,
when he comes to classroom. The first thing he sees that she has come. And then he will go and talk to everybody. And
that day I called her and told her this and she said this other fellows will think are why he is boring us and we have so
many things to do ourselves. And after talking to one hour about the glories of the girl he will tell you, please don't tell
anybody. And the same thing he will tell everybody in the class. And then when two other boys talk to each other wahi
same bat bola muze bhi… understand... this is how .
Madness for Krishna :
This is the meaning of madness, due to material attraction also in the same manner a devotee becomes madly attracted to
Krishna. And because he's madan- mohan , same madan-mohan So he becomes attracted to Krishna. And then, he cannot
avoid, to speak about Krishna. He doesn't plan to prepare to speak about Krishna and divert .His heart should overflow
with Krishna, and he always we have not come to the stage. Right now, our heart is overflowing with many of the …at the
best either passionate or sattva-guna ideas only either rajo-guna or sattva-guna ideas mostly, which are which are within
the fold of religious principles, you understand. Once you be like this one should be like that and this is so many things I
miss it. But actually, ultimately, you don't have to be anything, you have to be Krishna conscious that sir. So, in this way.
Krishna is looking for exclusive attention and when one gives it then he also gives exclusive attention proof. Krishna is
riding the chariot of Arjuna. That is the proof that he exclusively gives himself to devotees can you imagine, leaving
behind the whole material universe, the spiritual vaikunthas and everything. He is simply in the Nandabhavan playing
with Yashoda who is carrying a stick, just spending all his time with the mother is it not true is he not giving exclusive
time wholehearted attention is giving like that. He doesn't say sorry wait a minute I'm too busy. Kitna time chahiye He
didn't ask like that. He's saying I'm available for you fully. So this kind of availability of that to the Supreme Personality
of Godhead. He is number one person in the whole creation that no one else alters all. Also, all the time now. So his
demand is justified also.
Give x % get x % :
Now you may say Krishna Why should you give yourself so much you know you give little I'll give a little. And there are
mixed devotees. And they go to Krishna a little bit go to other also and Krishna also says ye yatha mam prapadyante 20%
you surrender I give myself 20%. Just under 100% I'll give myself. 100% here. So, for such people he gives his bhakti.
Okay, now the third point. How we come to such a platform of pleasing Krishna. By offering him such as shuddha bhakrti
pure devotional service. When will we become tuned to that. That is a secret explained in this episode of our Ajamilah.
Ajamilah, you know when the Vishnu-dutas and Yama-dutas both of them came in front of his eyes, and they were having
a heated argument. So, Vishnu-dutas asked what have you studied. You seem to be foolish. Because you are trying to take
this Ajamilah, who has chanted Narayana’s name. How dare you touch him. So Yama-dutas said you think we are not
learned, hear from us what we are studied. So yama-kinkarah ch yoni chhu ,
veda-praṇihito dharmo
hy adharmas tad-viparyayaḥ
vedo nārāyaṇaḥ sākṣāt
svayambhūr iti śuśruma
[S.B.6.1.40]
See what a wise words they are speaking, even Yama-kinkaras are not ordinary in the Vedic times. They are saying that
veda-praṇihito dharmothe , Vedas, explain what is dharma hy adharmas tad-viparyayaḥ, Everything else is adharma.

Original Sampradayas and bogus speculators :


I can write, four categories as written authorised sampradaya. Like, four sampradayas, as you all know, they are
authorised sampradayas and Bogus sumpradayas means that are also, the four I have written authorised sampradaya,
bogus sampradayas, there's charismatic hijackers and demoniac miss leaders. So authorised sampradaya you all know
very well. Brahma, Rudra, Kumara and Shri sampradaya are four of them. So they are authorused sampradayas which you
all know very well.
Meaning bogus sampradya :
And Bogus sampradaya means there are other people also having some line. There are many organisations. There is the
one organisation, which has very nice line also they explain in fact, they were connected to Vaishnava sampradaya also
for example.
Example of Ramanadi sampradaya :
The Swami Narayan they come in, Ramanadi, for example, which is the expansion of Ramanuja sampradaya only. So
they have a connection. So when I had gone to Delhi I went to their temple in Delhi, Swami Narayan temple to see, they
been 800 crores beautiful big project. So they have a Emax theatre ,where they show you a big movie of the original
founder of that movement. They call him as Swami Narayan they call it was when he was a small boy. You know, he goes
in the jungle. He's sleeping and snakes are wrapping around his body, and is living with tigers and lions, like a small boy
amongst them he has no fear. He was a very great tapasvi austere person. So he goes to the mandakini Ganga and puts his
hand and take shaligram Shila, and he everyday keep gives shaligram Shila, and garland said, and he's taking a bead bag
and chanting regularly. So they showed all this in a movie also. And then later on when he grows up and becomes a very
great guru and influential personality. And then he starts a kind of sampradaya from there. And then he comes to an
ashram, where one Guru Ji is there and then Guru Ji understands that this is a very very exalted person and he hands over
the whole thing to him. You continue the sampradaya and then he becomes like a leader. After that, and then his followers
game and everything like that they show and then they present him as the Swami Narayan and. Now, if you take any
Swami Narayan and organisation’s book. For example, You will find the very first line, they will say, God is not
impersonal. And God is personal. So they are very clear. They are Vaishnava sampradaya, there is no doubt about it. They
are not saying God is impersonal or anything.
How lord ships have gone to the side-in ramanadi sampradaya :
And also, if you go to their template they have Radha-Krishna. But in the side, and you will find Sita-Ram in this side and
Shiva-Parvati this side, you will find also sometime Brahma also you find there are three alters starting with Swami
Narayan and following gurus Guna-tirth swami like this like that one more they have three alters they have . So as soon as
you enter their first you see those Guruji’s only, you see. And then the lord ships have gone to the side. If you see. So,
when any sampradaya highlights guru too much only and ignores the Lord in the side, then it can gradually tend towards
Maya-vada ,you understand. So what has happened if you go to Delhi they have a Murthy of the Swami Narayan ,huge..
practicaly some 50-60 feet high I think you've seen that brass one or something they have made very huge one outside.
So most people who come there they, they come, they Jay Swami Narayana each other they say, so they are made that
guru into God now. Swami Narayan, they are calling him God only now. So jay Swami Narayana ..Jay Swami Narayana .
So, if you see in their books they will say, the ultimate goal of the life is to go to Akshara Dham they say, and what they
will say is when you go beyond this world, you will see two people. One is a Swami Narayana and other princhigunati
Swami or somebody next to one, they two will come and take you to Akshara Dham, they will say, and what is an extra,
there is not much information.
What swami Narayana said in shikshapatris :
But if you see Swami Narayana himself wrote shikshapatri very first shikshapatri, writing even today it's available. You
can access it. What he wrote, he said, I surrender to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna. By Whose side
stands his supreme Shakti Shrimati Radha-Rani, this is what he has written. And they are my masters and lord ships. And
they are the most worshipable like that he says. And then the other patris continue shikshapatris continues. So, that is how
he has presented he never said, I am God. But these people have made him God. And then after him. One of the Guruji
who made him God, he wrote vachanamrita they call it. Now vachanamriita is more famous than the shikshapatris, you
understand in the vachanamrita the whole writing is about whom Swami Narayana there is no Radh-krishna mentioned
understand no, Radha-Krishna went to side, this side that side. So the gurus became very prominent for them. So,they
have one pramukh Swami Maharaj, and then baps they call it, and then another group. One group separated group also,
they are also an running one temple. They're good people, in one sense they have very good relationship with ISKCON
we go to their temple they come to our temple they came to Juhu also and learn how to do worship of the deities, they
also translate very beautifully and decorate and everything. We respect them as a Vaishnava samprdaya also connection
they have. And they have taken books from ISKCON the whole bghagavatam set. Even their Swamiji’s admit that, If we
want to read rich spiritual literature's, we have to come to ISKCON, you have abundance. So they take Bhagvatam they
appreciate the recite bhagvatam every day like we do also, they study also because their information available in their
books is only about Swami Narayana’s life. And then some guruji’s little bit of information they have otherwise they don't
have much shastric basis, so they refer to ISKCON . Very good. But what has happened is people's focus has become only
Swami Narayana and they don't know how to awaken love for Radha-Krishna, you know, and what is the position of
Shiva and all is not very clear. You understand.
We have to highlight both guru and Krishna :
So, one should not highlight only Krishna or only guru. If one, one highlights, only Krishna who are they called sahijya
,there's another movement on only Krishna. Then guru goes to side Guru is not even paid attention at all. One Krishna
krishna, krishna is The only thing I have a direct relation with Krishna, they are sahijyas . And when only you highlight
guru gradually they become mayavadis. So this movement has a danger of tending towards mayavad if they are not going
to take care in the coming time. In the coming years, if they are also learning to highlight Krishna so they do dramas and
everything and cultural activities. So our ISKCON Govinda prabhu , Gauranga prabhu ,myself we all have been to them.
Very nice people fine people they appreciate ISKCON for it’s activities. So we have very good exchange with them. They
come to our temple we learn management organisation from them a lot also, they do it very well, they're very dedicated
fellows, and they have that rich tradition of their family coming in the lineage, so we have to appreciate those things, but
I'm just telling you the samprdaya also there's a possibility if one is not careful can become deviated highlighting only
guru or only Krishna is not proper we have to highlight both guru and Krishna. In fact, that is how they started the
Parampara the Guru is Swami and lord is Narayana. So guru and narayana were kept together finally they thought guru
only Swami Narayana .Understand no, that misunderstanding came in there this thing. So,an authorised sampradaya can
become a bogus sampradaya, if the emphasis becomes wrong. You understand no. Now there are others sampradayas also,
you'll find which have Radha Krishna temple Sita-Ram’s temples Hanuman temples, they have vitthal rakhumai temples
also, but they are not proper sampradayas .
Prabhuji met one gentleman who says (Chaitanya path Shankara mat ) :
Why I call them as bogus. Like I went to Calcutta. There one in Kharagpur there was one gentleman who told me that
prabhuji can you meet my mother and father a few minutes. So I went to meet them. Now they're taking vanaprastha
going to guru’s ashrama . So, I saw him wearing this kind of tilak gaudiya Vaishnava Tilak. I was amazed really,you are
gaudiya vaishnava I asked him, he said no no no I belong to one particular sampradaya. We also appreciate Chaitanya
mahaprabhu. But I can tell you our philosophy in one line, he said. Chaitanya path Shankara mat. He says, so our
philosophy is we loke Chaitanya’s followers for their chanting and dancing. They're very wonderful fellows, you know
they are always ecstatic. They never have any sorrow. So we are Maya vadis we are dried up. And we are suffering. So we
also want to be like vaishnavas while living in this world. But after leaving this world Shankar mat says we want to merge
into Brahman, you understand no,very dangerous acts like a tiger wearing a cow's skin. Is it not, I said thank you thank
you, Hare Krishna. So, so they also have sampradaya, but these are what sampraday. Bogus sampradayas.
Actual sampradaya is becoming diluted and distracted :
That means a actual sampradaya becomes diluted and distracted and purpose is lost over a period of time, because of some
fellows coming in and putting the nose and you know spoiling the essential message is it. So those are bogus and now
charismatic hijackers are who, who never talk about soul, but who talk about do what feels good. Like Nowadays many
seminars are arranged and companies colleges so much a fees are being taken those people come and organise courses
which are some breathing exercises and yogasanas you do things like that. And then, you know, everybody be nice. You
know, breathing exercise yoga, you know, keep your body healthy and fit, you know, live close to nature. You know, we,
you know, eco friendly.
Eco friendly and ego friendly :
Like recently HH Radhanath maharaj was telling in wada farm,you should be eco friendly and ego friendly also. He said,
(devotees laugh….)he said.. You environment should be eco friendly and your dealings should be ego friendly . So,he
was telling .So but you will see in our sampradaya that you may be taught eco friendly ego friendly but the ultimate is not
that you are clearly taught that you are attained Krishna’s shelter, is it not true. But many organisations don't talk only
about Krishna surrender to Krishna shuddha bhakti ,nothing is taught. They say, you know, be nice talk nice and live in
eco friendly environment and eat organic food, keep your body healthy breathe some exercises. you know, there are
saffron sadhus teaching only yoga also.
Charismatic hijackers : Attracting more crowd
There are people like that many organisations like that. And they are charismatic they may attract lots of people, one
yesterday one boy asked prabhuji why so many organisations attract so many people and we are attracting only a few I
said in a diamond shop you don't see much crowd. You know you, very few people can pay the price to buy or in laddoo
should you know.(In hindi…) Shuddha ghee se banaya hua laddoo pacchis rupaya kitne log kharidenge bajuke dukan me
pach rupaye me milata hai 20 times recycled oilse banaya hua. You know many people go for that because its 5 rupees
you see. So, he may have difficulty attracting a large number of people but we are focusing on quality, but many others
charismatic why I call them hijackers they hijack them from the purpose of religion, they, they show it like religion but
they are not religious people. They also wear sadhu’s dress. They also attract all classes of people. So they actually
unfortunately they give up they pamper the body or the mind, or the intelligence also, like you know, people are attracted
to, like, there is one, one particular mission Swami used to speak very powerfully. So people used to say(In
hindi….)kyaaa baat kyaa bolaa (devotees laugh)itna badiya bola itna badiya bola kisiko samjme nahi ata wo .Some
people say like that, because ye maharaj ji aise bolte hai har sentence me ek shabd hota hai usko smjne ke liye dictionary
chahiye humko . Some people appreciate the eloquence and speech. Some people appreciate the charisma. You know,
some people appreciate you know there followers hey kitna followers hai. Some people appreciate their gate. So these are
all charismatic hijackers.
Bagpiper example :
They come and hijack and take they are Bagpiper you know Bagpiper game and he was playing the bagpipes and then he
was attracting all rats out away like that these people are hijackers they hijack everybody away from Krishna.
Plane hijacker example :
You know what the meaning of hijackers somebody goes in a plane, suddenly he takes a gun and puts on a pilot's temple
here and says, Now you don't go there with your plane you go to this place. And he tries to hijack, and they loot all the
money of the passengers that whatever. Similarly these people actually hijack the innocent living entities away from
Krishna. So these are charismatic hijackers and demoniac misleaders .
Demoniac miss-leaders : Some pretending to be avataras and speculative philosophy
These are deadly fellows who these fellows Maya-vadis, who out rightly cheat the living entities, by claiming themselves
to be God openly in open assemblies they call I am God and I told you this so called Kalki Avatar in South India. And
another fellow said I am Kalki and they both have tusle which came on TV for weeks together they showed finally both
proved to be fool. So there are many fellows like this. They claim to be God. And they say one fellow said, See he went to
a very big company in London I heard there's some so called Nityananda from South India. So this fellow youngster not
very old, he must be 30 years or so has written many Tamil books and everything, and many, many of my relatives used
to read that also before a little philosophy he used to speak, but then it goes to one company in London and he says, I have
not come here to tell all of you that I am God. I have come here to tell you that you are all Gods speaking and very
powerfully very forcefully pakka he reveals how he is ignoramus. You see, and the result. Now what happened, he fell
down with two to three cinema actresses and immediately the paper was stinking with so much information about his fault
and everything, and the result was people came to his matha temples and everything and started breaking it down, tearing
it down many places. But, do you think he is gone, he is again back again. But now what is he saying, that was my lila
with the gopis, he's saying, Krishna does lila with gopis, so this cinema actresses I wanted to please them by giving myself
to them like they say there are fools who are still there to follow him. Can you imagine, these are the demoniac
misleaders, who misrepresent the lord’s pastimes, who misrepresent religion by claiming to be God. Cheating the innocent
masses of your blood will boil, if you hear about every one of them. So, my vigour for preaching comes from these
fellows (everybody laughs). I can forget my whole sleep also in the night. Sometimes I had difficulty sleeping was
because I think about these fellows. How to preach and save the people from this philosophy. So, these four categories of
people now let us go to the first category. So therefore other fellows not much use to talking about them.

Krishna: The only Knower of everything-

“Krishna is the only guru, for the whole universe”

Vishnu-dutas Telling about authorised sampradaya :


So we can talk about authorised sampradaya. Now, when Vishnu-dutas were arguing with Yama-dutas. They told them,
hey Yama-dutas, you think you are smart vedo nārāyaṇaḥ sākṣāt, and you said, that's all wonderful, but still, you have not
completed your syllabus. And there is something out of syllabus also which you have not studied. Sometimes a teacher
says this also extra you to study when people don't study that. So there is something special, we indeed agree that
Ajamilah was sinful, and he was in your jurisdiction, but go back to your master and ask what is the result of chanting
Narayana’s name this is out of your syllabus you don't know this, better admit that you don't know better go and ask him.
Yamaraja told who can speak about dharma :
So they got ego problem and then they went back to Yamaraj and said, Oh, Master. We have been driven away from our
duty. We wanted to capture this fellow and then Yamaraj was a very happy to hear this, that they saw viahnudutas, and the
talking Narayana’s name we rarely heard in the Yamaloka. So very, he was very happy. And then he said, repeat this
beautiful verse,
dharmaṁ tu sākṣād bhagavat-praṇītaṁ
na vai vidur ṛṣayo nāpi devāḥ
na siddha-mukhyā asurā manuṣyāḥ
kuto nu vidyādhara-cāraṇādayaḥ
[S.B-6.3.19]

See here he is saying dharma can only be spoken by one person who is it Bhagwan only nobody else has any right to
speak about dharma. You can only repeat what he has spoken. Nobody else can speak on their own. All this charismatic
hijackers bogus sampradayas demonic miss leaders. Nobody can use there 200 grams of grey matter and speculate
anything about God. You have to simply repeat Krishna’s words , If you see Prabhupad books you open it every third
page you get a shloka from Bhagavad Gita ,Bhagavatam like that.
We have to simply repeat krishna’s words :
Where as many organisations you find you, you see page after page you don't see any shloka no quote no shastric
reference why?? Because they have concocted from their own brain. That's why. So, the glory of an Acharya, the glory a
person coming in sampradaya is to repeat those words of Krishna. One more verse we will repeat,
vasudeva sutaṁ devaṁ
kaṁsa cāṇūramardanam
devakī paramānandaṁ
kṛṣṇaṁ vande jagadgurum
[śrī kṛṣṇāṣṭakam-shankaracharya ]

See this verse was written by Shankaracharya, he kṛṣṇaṁ vande jagadgurum, Krishna is the only guru, for the whole
universe that’s why dharmaṁ tu sākṣād bhagavat-praṇītaṁ. He only can speak the truth, everybody else has to repeat.
Truth is only learned buy hearing –blackboard example :
As I told you once before the example, if I am having a blackboard here and I have an announcement with me. Somebody
a far away will think what is this announcement is chalk, because they're connected to the relative truth, connected, but
then I tell one person this is not a chalk this is Pen Pen Pen Pen, then even the last person can understand. So the truth is
learned only by hearing, not by seeing.
Brahmaji’s example (put faith in lord’s words) :
Like Brahmaji did not see Vishnu, although he got off the Lotus up to the navel of Vishnu and looking all around Vishnu
is right now there. He couldn't see, but then when he came back to the lotus feet and he sat closing his eyes and meditated
and prayed to the supreme lord, then he got the instruction called the tapa, how to meditate and the result of that tapas was
what his eyes became open spiritual eyes and he could see Vishnu, but much before that, when he was enveloped by pitch
darkness. When he was sitting in the Lotus when he heard the word tapa when he put faith in that word tapa. Immediately
Brahma is called with a name amogha-drik. One who had a spotless vision. At that time still he could not see. That
means you might be a neophyte devotee, but you have full faith in Parampara. And that knowledge coming from Krishna.
When one becomes (Amogh-drika) :
And you are also called Amogh-drika. You have the clarity of vision. You don't have to be uttama adhikari or you don't
have to be a very great Acharya You don't have to be directly hearing from Krishna, but if you have faith full faith in their
words. Then you become Amogh-drika that means one, one who has a spotless vision Prabhupad says, in one of his
purports Arjuna was fortunate to hear Bhagavad Gita from Krishna directly, but anyone who studies this Bhagavad Gita,
the same spirit of Arjuna is also hearing directly from the Lord, Prabhpad is saying it's equivalent to hearing from him
directly. So, we should learn truth only by hearing, not trying to see with our own senses.
We can’t about truth, we will simply bluff :
So, in this way he said ,
na vai vidur ṛṣayo nāpi devāḥ
na siddha-mukhyā asurā manuṣyāḥ
kuto nu vidyādhara-cāraṇādayaḥ
[S.B-6.3.19]
In this way They said na vai vidur ṛṣayo nāpi devāḥgive the devatas cannot give the truth. Rushis cannot give the truth
was muni pungavas the siddha-mukhyās leaders of the Siddhas, they cannot talk about the truth kuto nu vidyādhara-
cāraṇādayaḥ and what to speak of the vidyādharas -cāraṇādayaḥs who simply recite in and good Sanskrit verses. And
what about manushyas. How can any manushya talk about the truth. He will simply bluff. So, you should never bluff. We
should only repeat in the Parampara. So, here they are coming up, Yamaraj is telling about the authorised sampradaya.
And then he's saying,
svayambhūr nāradaḥ śambhuḥ
kumāraḥ kapilo manuḥ
prahlādo janako bhīṣmo
balir vaiyāsakir vayam
[S.B- 6.3.20]

Twelve Mahajanas :
What is this verse 12 mahajanas. mahājano yena gataḥ sa panthāḥ .It said no, there's another verse also it says
tarko 'pratiṣṭhaḥ śrutayo vibhinnā
nāsāv ṛṣir yasya mataṁ na bhinnam
dharmasya tattvaṁ nihitaṁ guhāyāṁ
mahājano yena gataḥ sa panthāḥ
[CC Madhya 25.57]
That verse says Mahabharata. He says, by tarka-vitarka you cannot know the truth, śrutayo vibhinnā different people say
different things we don't know what his ultimate truth nāsāv ṛṣir yasya mataṁ na bhinnam different rishis have different
mata also. Somebody says one thing, another one says another thing. How to know dharmasya tattvaṁ nihitaṁ
guhāyāṁis the dharma-tattvam is very very good at, but we have to see from the life of Mahajanas as whether it is
matching with what they have done. Every Mahajan you will find they're fully surrendered to lord, and they were put into
trial prahlad was put into trial prahlad just put into trial.

Vaman dev – The Trivikrama form


Bali maharaj past-time :
See I heard Bali maharaj pastime in my school days in one Krishna temple, you know. So after hearing that one vaishnava
was speaking that. And I came back out. I asked my friend, a very interesting pastime. lord came as batu vamana, and he,
you know, took three steps and measured the three words. Because he used to sing the song
oongi ulagalandha uththaman peer paadi
naangal nam paavaikkkuch chaatrri neer aadinaal
[Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama ]
but we didn't know this past time The meaning is oongi ulagalandha means he took his feet and measured the all the three
this is the first time we heard this past time. And I asked a friend What lesson striking for you what you learned. So he's
saying, dan dene ke pehel soch vichar krke daan do (Everybody laughs…) that is the lesson he learned.
Real message behind the past-time (surrender of bali maharaja) :
You know, later when I came to ISKCON. Here one devotee was speaking about the vaman dev’s past time very

boy because he's sakshad vishnu. Then Bali maharaj was inspired to give all the more he said why will I not give
everything belongs to him, including me, so he gave it to him. Then at that time. What did he do our Vaman Dev became
Trivikrama, he measured all the worlds in two steps only. And then he said, Bali, you promised me a three step, where is
the place for me to put the third step, you have gone back in your word. And he said, My dear Lord, all these words
belong to me, because I mean that owns the Jamin but jamindar is different from jamin. So all these words belong to me I
given it to you. Now, since I am the owner I still have my head on which you can put your feet. I offer myself to you said
like that. At that time, he was bound by varnapash, and the Shukracharya his guru was cursing him. You didn't hear my
words just say you lost everything, and all the prajas they were crying and all the ministers are fuming, they were saying
look at our king he foolishly gave the three steps and he lost everything, and his wife Vindhyawali, she was telling you are
thinking that you are the master of this world. Supreme Lord is a master. He is the bhokta, not you. People like you out of
ego thing that you are the master but actually Lord comes to prove in this world that he is a real master like that she was
also chastising. And everybody was like this. Can you imagine nobody supported him at that time Brahma started crying
tears. He said, My dear lord Supreme Lord, you become satisfied even by tulasi or little water.

Bali maharaj said to lord, “whatever you do is only expression of your


love.”

Bali maharaj understood lord’s intention :


But here I am finding even if somebody offers durva grass and tulasi and water you become satisfied, but here. This one is
given. I know the whole world to you, and all the other relative friends are cursing him condemning him, and your instead
of taking pity on your own devotee like this. You know you are asking where can I keep third step tell me. This is really a
very cruel my lord and it doesn't fit to you who is a personification of compassion, and who was oceanic compassion. So,
lord doesn't do anything without any purpose. And he said like this at that time Bali maharaj recited a beautiful verse
beautiful verse
puṁsāṁ ślāghyatamaṁ manye
daṇḍam arhattamārpitam
yaṁ na mātā pitā bhrātā
suhṛdaś cādiśanti hi
[S.B-8.22.4]
Oh my dear supreme lord. In this world, sometimes a mother may pinch a child a slap a to feed the medicine. Sometimes a
brother may chastising his younger brother out of concern for him. But in this world nobody would have given a
punishment as you have given me. But still, I am ready to take this punishment very gladly why because whatever you do
is only expression of your love. It is. You will never do anything out of engines. You'll never do anything out of anger.
You always do everything for living entities love and whatever you're doing to me. I surely assume it to be your love it
cannot be anything but love with that confidence is surrendered. Who? Bali maharaj .

Lord is conquered by love (Bali maharaja got three boons):


Lord became so pleased he put his feet and told Bali, you have conquered my heart, three boons he gave him. You go to
sutala loka which is better than Swarga loka. And then you become Indra, in the next life after rulling in the sutal loka,
you will be the next Indra you'll be in queue now in the waiting list. After that you will be posted as Indra. And then I will
become your doorkeeper, because you have conquered me by your love. Now I have given you Bhakti now. I don't give
bhakti generally to anybody, but one who. I had despite all of the opposing the whole world is opposing but you
surrendered to me with full faith. And you had faith in my love for you. You didn't doubt my intentions. So I'm giving
myself to you. So he became a doorkeeper into sutala loka.
Maharaj asking gulab-jamun :
So this I heard. I imagine you're going to yatra. And all of you are sitting with your plate now yatra is coming in
november sometimes there's twelve course feast pulav and curry and you know all and Gauranga prabhu is special menu
also. Very nice there is sonapapadi from giriraj sweets. And there is also a vati, having some gulab-jamun floating in
golden yellow liquid, and generally we will reserve it for the end do you seen that. How many of you reserved a for the
end, so that the taste can last for a long time. Imagine when you're about to begin the food. While eying on Gulab-Jamun
you are eating the other things, finally usko dekha jayega Everybody laughs…) isn’t it imagine somebody's hand comes
from the top, and he put straight his hand in gulab-jamun will you not shout. Hey…..kon utha raha hai mera gulab jamun.
(devotees laugh..) But when you look up you find it happens to be a spiritual master. And he says, can I taste a little bit of
gulab jamun, how it is made, will you give it or not. Any you will not give it. Maharaj why are you asking from me Why
did’t you go there, and our booth is there buffet is there why don’t you take from buffet will you ask like that? Maharaj,
Please take this you will take sonapapadi also of the if you wish if you like the whole plate also you take will you not
give it like that you will immediately and you will be actually very happy that he took from your plate, and for all your
lifetime you can say maharaj from my plate correct no. correct no. Now you will tell somebody click the photo quickly.
That is how Bali felt, Bali felt are this is Vishnu and Vishnu is coming to ask me, my property, why only my property I
will give my head I'll give myself to him like that he felt done out of love. And this is bhagavad dharma.
Bhagvad dharma :
Qualities of mahajanas :
That is why he said after quoting the names of the 12 Mahajanas you know what he said
dvadasaite vijanimo
dharmam bhagavatam bhatah
guhyam visuddham durbodham
yam jnatvamrtam asnute
[S.B-6.3.21]
He is telling dvadasaite these 12 personalities names I told you, every one of them is like this, they surrendered. I cannot
tell you each of them. It will take a long time, but sometimes in a rice pot, one rice you take and do like this. If it is nicely
cooked what is the proof. Whole part is cooked. Every Mahajan is like this only, there quality of heart, the spirit of
Krishna consciousness is same. Every one of them, they surrender to Krishna like this only. Absolutely, they surrender,
without any reservations. That’s why he said dvadasaite vijanimo , vijanimo he says I know about every one of them.
dharmam bhagavatam bhatah batah means mean servants are my sons. These people know what is Bhagwat Dharma,
Bhagvad Dharma means not religiosity .It teaches love of God it is the loving relationship between anucit vastu and
brihacit vastu. We are anucite vastu ,cid vastu means conscious entity, under which it was the means we are tiny
conscious entity and Krishna is the great conscious entity, anucit vastu means we are tiny conscious entity and Krishna is
the great conscious entity and the love that exist between them is called Bhagavata dharma. And these personalities
Mahajanas have come to this world to teach us how to love God and how you can be a Muslim you can be Hindu we
can be Christian you can be anybody you can be born in Brahmana, vaishya or shudra any jati.
Vaishnava community accepts everybody at lords lotus feet :
So in our ISKCON temple we allow all jati people correct No, we don't say only Brahmana Hindu should come here and
say like that. Everybody's around, say, somebody asked puri shankaracharya. And they accept only boys born in brahmana
families, you know that for that training programme and everything, and the puja everything should be done by only boys
born in brahmana families with a sacred thread. Those who wear. So this is the standard and Shankara matha, because
there is not a Bhagvad Dharma that’s not highlighted , Advaita vedant what they follow. So because of it. This is an
understanding, there is no siddhanta we accept everybody. You can be a cow flesh eater also. But if you become a
Vaishnava, and you wear tilak kanthi-mala you give up all your bad habits and worship Krishna we accept you, because
we see the soul only. We are not like karmi.
Types of yogis :
Karma Yogis use the senses. Jyan-yogi using the mind,and ashtanga-yogi using the intelligence but Bhakti-yogi engages
his soul only in krishna’s service, you see. So dharmam bhagavatam bhatah, guhyam visuddham durbodham This is very
very confidential knowledge, and that is given in the shastra why it is guhyam , guhyam means secret bhakto ’si me
sakhā ceti rahasyaṁ hy etad uttamam [B.G-4.3 ]the word rahasyaṁ is used. So, this rahasyaṁ is secret why it is secret.
For bhakti –Run to a Vaishnava (Physics professor example) :
It is said even scholars can’t understand it, imagine if somebody is a man knowledgeable in English, can he understand
physics book. As you can study physics book, but to know physics to whom should you go. Physics professor you should
go. Similarly Bhakti literature's can be read by a Mayawadi but it's like a honey bottle, which honey, somebody licking
from outside. He cannot taste the honey for tasting honey, one has to go to the Vaishnava bhaktas for practising vaishnava
Bhakti and with firm faith also, it is not only external practice, you can wear tilak kanthi-mala bow down to everything
and like a robotic way. But our heart should have a firm faith in all the Vaishnava truths that we hear in vaishnava
siddhant and. So, this guhyam is explained by Shridhar Swami
iti rahasyatva Sva muke Naiva bhagavata
vidusham api puṁsām anja sukhe naiva atmalabdhe
This definition he gave for guhyam what he says. iti rahasyatva what is called rahasyam. Sva muke Naiva bhagavatam
first condition. This truth must have emanated from the Lotus lips of the Supreme lord Bhagavad Gita is emanating from
whose mouth. Some ya svayam padmanabhasya, mukha-padmad vinihsrita [Bhagavad Gita Mahatmya -by Adi
Shankaracharya Text-4] shankaracharya also says thatfrom the Lotus mouth of Krishna this transcendental sound
vibration has emanated. So that is the first condition. Sva muke Naiva bhagavata And then he says vidusham api puṁsām,
even a fool who is illiterate angutha chhap can understand it. If he gets connected to a vaishnava acharya. Anybody
because the faith is of the heart. It is not of the intelligence. You once heart full faith by hearing of vaishnava acharya, one
can go back to Godhead.
Educational qualification will not lead us to Krishna (Example of an illiterate devotee goes to MIT):
Like one illiterate devotee was called to Massachusetts institute to deliver a lecture. A Vaishnava devotee. He's angutha-
chhap. But why MIT is calling him to give a lecture because he's realised vaishnava. He can go and speak in such
universities, and the whole world can benefit from it, you see. So, in this way, one should know that educational
qualification will not lead us to Krishna, but vidusham api puṁsām even a fool can understand provided, he surrenders to
the vaishnava guru. So vidusham api puṁsām anja means very easily. sukhe naiva. Very joyfully, it's practically
practicable so devotional service should be joyfully practice. su-sukhaḿ kartum avyayam you should not present
devotional service as something very difficult. If somebody wants to come into VOICE, prabhu you really want to come
but what it is too difficult. And you will not be able to get up in the morning. If you say that nobody will join. We should
present it in a way so can ever means we should show how joyful and jolly this process is.
A joyful Vaishnava can attract peoples heart to Krishna ( HH Bhakti Rasamrita Swami maharaj’s example):
Actually when I saw,Bhaktirasamrit Swami maharaj such a educated man such intellectual fully surrendered and he is so
joyful. So I also want to design. So people should see us practising joyfully, and they will also want to join. So anja
means very easily and practical and sukhe naiva atmalabdhe means achieving the ultimate goal of circulisation. This is
rahasya he says ghuyam and visuddham means no mala. In this part.

Vaishnava means –Three qualities:


One devotee came to me, not came to me he wrote a mail to me prabhuji, I have some material desires in my heart and my
parents asking me to go to some demigods. So is it all right, I will go to demigods, and ultimately I will come to Krishna
only I chant 16 rounds I will go back to Godhead, I want shuddha Bhakti only, but uske liye Krishna ko kyo disturb kare
kya devatao ke pas nahi ja sakate kya.Like that he wrote a mail to me. I told him, prabhu a Vaishnava means three
qualities, very important qualities,sahishnuta,upakarita,ishvar ke prati ananyita. We should have tolerance. And you
should have paropkara doing nature welfare for all living entities, ultimate welfare for Krishna consciousness distribution.
And thirdly, ,ishvar ke prati ananyita undivided devotion service, anananya, other than Krishna you should not surrender
to anybody.
Two examples from Bhagvatam :
Two examples from Bhagavatam those devotees who had material desires, but they said, only if Krishna gives it I'll
accept, otherwise not anybody knows, Dhruva maharaj. He didn't accept from demigods accepted only from Vishnu who
is another example, or the money. He accepted a wife only because Vishnu gave him. So devotees will accept material
desires only when who gives it. Vishnu.
Wrap around Krishna (Example of a small boy) :
I went to South India to my sister's place, you know, and when I bat at the door. You know the small boy he was almost 8-
10 years old, you know, he opened the door and he saw me for the first time. You know, he got frightened shaven head
tilak and dress he ran away inside. So when I went inside he wrapped around my sister sari to see like this again go like
this and he was doing like this. So my sister was telling me you don't know this is your uncle this is Radheshyam mama
(everybody laughs..) and then somehow he develop some courage to come out. So, one immediate thought came to my
mind. You see this child is wrapping around mother's sari, because he come from mother's body. Similarly, we all come
from Krishna we should also wrap around Krishna whenever we get danger, because we are is part and parcel. We should
wrap ourselves in His lotus feet. Whenever we are in danger is it not true. And, and not only that, then I had taken some.
These barfis from the temple. So I took out on burfi and gave him. He didn't accept it. You know, he didn’t extend his
hand, when I gave the barfi, he looked at the mother. What do you think about this. She said yes go ahead and then he
shorted. And then he accepted happily accepted that. So what is this show. The time is trained by the mother in such a
way that you should not eat anything and everything what others give you, unless I sanction it, understand no In the same
manner ,devotees will never go for material desires to anybody, but if Krishna sanctions it they will accept if mother's
sanctions it child will take. Similarly if Krishna says, I want you to accept his wife, or I want you to accept this kingdom
Dhruva loka, then they accepted. You say, so that is why bhagvatam is called as Amala Purana. There is no mala .
That's all I want service :
A devotee never demands anything from the Lord, it, he asked for only one thing only one thing he demands What is it,
what is one question Prabhupada asked his guru always. That's all I want service ,How can I serve you. That's all I want
service. Even if you take me back to goloka and here is a easy chair please relax. All these lifetimes you have worked hard
for me. Now you can relax in go-loka then I will say better not go to go -loka I better be here and do service, because
there is no service. It is said that dīyamānaṁ na gṛhṇanti vinā mat-sevanaṁ janāḥ, they are saying you know agar pach
tarah ke mukti bhi bhagvan dete hai salokya,samipya,sarishti, and all that I will not accept. But dīyamānaṁ na gṛhṇanti
I will not accept when vinā mat-sevanaṁ janāḥ if there is no service for me there. That means my purpose of going to
spiritual world is what if there is no service that will go. No. Better stay in for example in VOICE only do service
here , purpose of going to the spiritual world is service. This is amala Purana, visuddham pure philosophy. We don't want
to go to spiritual world to just enjoy ourselves. We are going to serve there, that's our motivation and durbodham, why
durbodham. durbodham means not easily understandable even to the scholarly idiots. It says why they might be big big
PhDs, but they can't understand this path of bhakti . So, they don't have faith .
South India example (Reciting Ramayana but no faith in lord):
Like ,yesterday Krishnan prabhu was telling me in the balaji temple I was standing. He said, Radheshyam Prabhu go to
South India do something in South India I said, What is it, he said there are many fellows in South India who speak on
Ramayana very sweetly, who speak on Mahabharata very sweetly 20 days kathas, they do evening three hours. They will
sing they will speak they will go to verses everything, but they don't have faith that lord Rama is a person, and Ramayana
actually happened, because they are maya-vadis they are coming in this demoniac miss leaders. Ultimately the conclusion
is to merged into Brahman. He said, If you can reform these people and make them vaishnavas ISKCON, will have a
boon, you know, it will take off in a very big way. I said already Amal maha prabhu is doing he has made a beginning
Amal maha prabhu will establish Amalam Puranam. Establishing the Bhagvad dharma you know and eventually will
come up there. Sumit prabhu is also going to IIT . So, in this way guhyam visuddham durbodham. And what is the result
of practising Bhagvad Dharma, yam jnatvamrtam asnute you will go to the immortal regions which is a spiritual sky. And
attain the lotus feet of the lord, tell them. So he was telling them this is Parampara mahajana parampara, which is the first
one authorised sampradaya and fortunately we all are connected to brahma madhva gaudia sampradaya. So, next time I
come. Now I will be more specific. Now I have given the foundation now, to what I actually wanted to talk, my emphasis
was on Prabhupad’s position and Prabhupad’s Bhaktivedanta purports. But before we talk about it, this background is
necessary Bhagavata dharma. So when I come next time you can remind me. I'll speak on that, so it'll be a continuation of
