General Instruction: We are using Online as our tool of learning for our Summer Class. When answering the
activity, the student will be given 1 hour to answer and will send back to the subject teacher.

1. What are the management functions that comprise the P-O-L-C framework? (20 points)

There are 4 management function, we have the Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. This P-
O-L-C framework is one of the useful guidance to build or to think a ideal job that the manager should
do.

2. Are there any criticisms of this framework? (5 points)

Yes there is because this framework is maybe ideal in the manager to do but they have no accurate
depict or successes in the company or in any kind of business.

3. What function does planning serve? (5 points)

Planning serve a good goals for the company, planning or management process where the manager is
the responsible in making or developing plans.

4. What function does organizing serve? (5 points)

Organizing is one of the things that the manager in the company like organizing a organizational
structures and allocating human resources and also organization is the one who determined which
effort is coordinated to the plan.

5. What function does leading serve? (5 points)

Leading in management functions were the manager are the one who motivate, to inspire to
communicate and to encourage there employee and also the one who helps there employee to gain
enhancement in there works.

6. What function does controlling serve? (5 points)

Controlling in management function where the manager is the one who evaluates the plans result
against in there target goals the one who control the result of the plan that they develop for the
company.
