Coreference Resolution Examples: CS 4650/7650, Prof Jacob Eisenstein

This document provides examples of coreference resolution: 1) It discusses heuristics like recency, prominence, and parallelism that can help determine coreferences. 2) It also discusses how coreference resolution goes beyond simple heuristics to consider context, pronouns that don't refer to entities, names, and nominals. 3) Resolving coreferences accurately requires understanding the context and world knowledge about the entities mentioned.
