• Assignment:
Graphic Design is all around us! Words and pictures—the building blocks of graphic design—are
the elements that carry the majority of the content in both the digital world and the printed world.
As graphic design becomes more visible and prevalent in our lives, graphic design as a practice
becomes more important in our culture.

Using colour wheel and colour relationship create a set of design for a Pastry Shop or an
Aquarium in Mauritius. Create a logo for the shop and apply it on other designs. Critically analyze
the colour palette used and support your answer using colour psychology. Show how elements
and principles of design helped you to create your logo and other designs. Support your answers
using gestalt theory.
