Dig Assist calibration error


NOTE!

This Service Bulletin is to be considered as technical information only and is solely applicable for normal warranty in case of
breakdown. Proactive replacement parts are not considered to be normal warranty.
Cause
There was a factory calibration error found on the GNSS antenna height that affect the system accuracy in the 3D applications for
Dig Assist.
Dig Assist 2D and Infield Design options are not affected by this.
Action
New factory calibration was applied at plant.
In case of a Dig Assist equipped machine should get upgraded to a 3D application, create a CHAIN TS case and escalate it to your
responsible Regional Technical Support group.
Volvo will provide a software conversion kit to correct the machine specific GNSS antenna height.

A software update is not required and will not help in this problem.
Work instruction
1. Open a TS case through CHAIN.
2. Escalate it through normal process.
Co-Pilot related to application is should be selected with Dig Assist.
