A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BARANGAY TREASURER OF BARANGAY


BUSTRAC TO DISBURSE THE AMOUNT Php 19, 501.40 TAKEN FROM 10% SK
FUND CY 2020 FROM HEALTH AS REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
HYGIENE KITS THAT WAS DISTRIBUTED TO 281 HOUSEHOLDS OF BARANGAY
BUSTRAC NABUA, CAMARINES SUR.

WHEREAS; on March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) has
characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic due to the exponential increase of the number
of cases in more than 100 countries.

WHEREAS; on March 16, 2020. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte placed the entire
Philippines under a State of Calamity amid the threats posed by COVID-19.

WHEREAS; pursuant to the President Duterte’s Declaration of a State of public Health


Advisory following the Department of Health’s alert system Code Red Sub-level 1 due to
COVID 19 threat, it was advisable to implement the precautionary measures on hand
sanitizing and other proper health etiquette.

WHEREAS; the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bustrac Nabua, Camarines Sur


inititated a project to distribute a hygiene kits consisting of safeguards as soap for hand
washing and other necessary kits like zonrox and surf powder for disinfectants and
colgates. It was distributed to 281 households of the barangay last March 28, 2020. The
way of distributing is by house-to house to observe the proper social distancing. It will
prevent all the constituents for being infected with COVID-19 by proper hand washing
and disinfecting the surroundings of barangay Bustrac.

WHEREAS; the amount to disburse as reimbursement for the purchase of these said
hygiene kits is Php 19, 501.40.

NOW THEREFORE; on motion presented by Hon. Mary Mae T. Laurza and duly
seconded by the body, be it.

RESOLVED; as it hereby resolved, that copies of this resolution be furnish to
Sangguniang Barangay Members of Bustrac Nabua, Camarines Sur for their immediate
