AIESEC is an organization that provides you with unique opportunities to discover who you are, which your strenghts and weaknesses
are and which is the potential that lays on you, and further on, develop you knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to chose prosperity
for yourself and make a positive impact in society. However, you will ask yourself
But how do I know that by being involved in AIESEC have I gained anything?
This Learning Diary gives you a means to record your experiences and what you have gained from them, both within AIESEC and in
other areas of your life. It is intended to give you the control to tailor your training and development to meet your personal needs. So
not only will have you experienced all kinds of opportunities to develop, you will also have a tool where to capture those experiences
and learn from them.
However, the main aim of this Learning Diary is to encourage a learning environment where you to dig much deeper than simply your
individual goals.
You begin to understang your worldview, your values, and the worldview and values of others. AIESEC becomes a place not only for
the achivement of your goals (although this remains) but for a deep understanding of your potential and of the fulfillment of this
potential.
Under this perspective, learning transcends skill-building and you are truly becoming a Change Agent!
The AIESEC Experience
The programmes
•TMP participants can have different types of practical team experiences, such being a part
of a project team, a functional team, the organizing committee of an event, or an
executive team of a an entity.
•TLP participants can have different types of team-based leadership experiences such as
leading a team or acting as a part of the executive leadership body of an entity.
A Global Internship Programme (GIP) experience is an opportunity for a
young person to develop entrepreneurial and responsible leadership by
living a cross-cultural professional development experience.
What can a young person gain through this programme?
With this program, a young person gains access to AIESEC’s value-based platform, and
he or she experiences:
•A professional development experience
•A cross-cultural living and working experience
•GIP participants can have different types of internship experiences as long as their role
and supervision clearly contribute to their professional development.
•GCDP participants can have different types of volunteer experiences. They may work
with organisations or in projects which focus on community development, as long as
their experience contributes to their personal development and positive impact on
society.

We invite you to write down the results from the 360o evaluation and from the self evaluation. A 360o evaluation helps you
understand better how other see your actions and behaviour and also get some possible improvements points. By having
the self evaluation and also the 360 o evaluation, you can get a better picture of yourself, or at least another perspective.
The evaluation should be done after each relevant experience you have had in AIESEC in order to see your
improvements, or at regular period of times. It should/could also serve as a basis for your future development plans when
you make your career planning.

attitudes or competencies from the Global Competencies Model;
