Installation Procedure
(Estimated Time of Completion: 2 hours)
Removal of the exhaust is required before removing the stock isolator and
will probably take longer than the installation of the kit. See FSM for proper
exhaust removal procedure. The transmission cross-member and harmonic
damper are attached as a unit by two 17mm bolts which run through the bushings
on the damper. The transmission isolator itself bolts between the damper bar and
transmission.

Installation Guide
Installation of the new unit is almost exactly the reverse of removal of the
stock unit. Take note of the fact that you need to install the isolator to the
transmission before mounting the harmonic damper to the isolator. If good
transmission fitment requires it, flatten an edge of each washer for case clearance
if it’s not already done for you.
Install the serrated flanged nuts and use a stubby wrench to tighten them
down to a rough torque between 8-12lb/ft. You will notice the mount deform
very slightly, this is normal. Do not tighten any further than this; the nuts will stay
in place on their own. Tightening down these nuts is probably the hardest part of
the installation. Do not over-torque these nuts; excessive torque is not required
to obtain proper function of the isolator! Re-install the transmission cross-
member and exhaust system, take the car for a spin and try it out!
