 Entertainments is another popular reasons why many people prefer to surf the internet In

contributions of the internet.

help students by providing them the handy material and resources for their studies

Disadvantages of the Internet

 The recent rumors that mongering about racial riots in Kuala Lumpur which in created a
furors, just goes to show how this tool, with its unrivalled reputation as an information
assassinations and company reputations can suffer if internet facilities are abused,
especially by those with an axe to grind
 Besides that some students will spend too much of time through the internet students are
likely to neglect their studies

passing it off as their own
 Children nowadays seem losing their ability to communicate with others they are used to
communicate with others via internet but they cannot communicate with others face by

 Another problem or disadvantage of the internet is that it has allowed a great deal of
anonymity to a large number of people who may access the different websites, forums
and chat rooms available
 There are a host of games that are available on the internet and this has made most
children to shun all outdoor activity
 Internet has also made it easy for unscrupulous elements to get in touch with children and
this has led to an increase in the cases of kidnapping and identity thefts
 About 60% young teens in the United States have admitted to responding to messages
from strangers this kind of behavior is extremely risky and has made children extremely
vulnerable

Requirements of Internet

 A computer device is any one of the following:


 A PC, a Macintosh or Linux computer, a tablet PC and a smart phone
 However, there are many other electronic devices that can also be used to access the
Internet
 Notable examples are well-configured game consoles such as the Sony PlayStation and
workstations like WebTV, Citrix and Sparc.

 It must correspond to the Internet line installed in order to work

however, they are essential for the majority of Internet applications.

What is Intranet?
 An intranet is a private network accessible only to an organization's staff

systems are available that would not be available to the public from the Internet

What is Extranet?
An extranet is a private network that uses Internet technology and the public telecommunication
system to securely share part of a business's information or operations with suppliers, vendors,
partners, customers, or other businesses
