Session One: The Glory Realms of God

Welcome to this exciting and powerful teaching on the glory realms of God. In these moments together we will
learn the principles of experiencing the manifest presence of God.

What is the glory?

The glory of God is the manifest presence of God.

Glory is:

• intimate knowledge of God

• His essence
• the approachable knowledge of all He is and has for us
• the fullness of God
• the manifestation of His divine presence
• His excellence and majesty
• the breath of God
• the wind of the Spirit
• a cloud of blessing

Just as air is the atmosphere of earth,

so glory is the atmosphere of heaven,

As God releases His glory on earth, He gives us an invitation to engage with heaven.

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Glory is always life-giving. God is never taking us down; He’s always taking us up.

God is not taking us into lesser places; He’s taking us into greater glory.

Glory is a river with depths. The glory realm of God is really realms.

Hebrews 1:3a The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all
things by his powerful word.
Jesus Christ is the perfect revelation of God’s glory. When you spend time with Him, you will begin to see Him
in a way you haven’t known Him before. Within the glory, there are depths of revelation of God. When God
touches us, the true weighty presence of God’s divine essence is released to us.

God’s glory throughout Scripture

Revelations of God’s glory cannot be boxed in to specific formulas or manifestations. In fact, glory appeared in
many different ways throughout Scripture:

• thunder and lightning (Exodus 19:9,16)

• a cloud (2 Chronicles 5:13-14; Exodus 40:36)
• a flame of fire (Exodus 40:38; Acts 2:3)
• supernatural heavenly dew (Judges 6:37-38)
• A mighty rushing wind (Acts 2:2)
• manna or unexplainable provision from above (Exodus 16)

The pages of Scripture are filled with miraculous accounts of the glory of God. No two are the alike! In the same
way, God can reveal His glory to you in new, creative, exciting ways.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

The glory of God also appeared in Scripture as:

• Angelic encounters (1 Kings 19:5-7; Acts 10:3; Acts 12:7-11)

• The swirling of healing waters (John 5:1-15)
• water transformed into heavenly wine (John 2:1-11)
• financial miracles (Matthew 17:27)

If God could do all of this in the Bible, why would we expect anything different today?

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

The same Jesus is bringing provision, healing, and abundance to you right now! You may have experienced
miracles in the past, but there are depths – realms – to the glory of God. He wants to bring more to you than
you’ve known before.

Ezekiel’s glory river

Ezekiel 47:1-3 The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under
the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under
the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me
around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. As the man
went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through
water that was ankle-deep.
Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall
live by faith. (KJV)

Ezekiel 47:4a He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep.

Who is this man measuring the realms of glory? Jesus! Walking with Jesus, hand in hand, we will experience
incredible miracles in new realms of glory.

Ezekiel 47:4b-5 He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He
measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and
was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross.

The more we give ourselves to the glory, the more the glory is given to us. It’s time to stir up a hunger for the
deeper realms of God!

What to expect when you ask for glory

1. God will begin to give you unusual instructions.

God is a Spirit of Wisdom. The glory is who He is; it is the revelation of heaven.

2. We must be willing to be obedient to the unusual instructions of God.

James 1:22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Is the instruction God has for you going to be the same as the instruction He has for others? Not necessarily.

How do we receive this instruction? By asking the Lord to respond to our hunger and take us into deeper realms
of glory.

3. Remain in faith

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does
he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Let’s take a minute to respond to this call to go into deeper glory. Lift your hands and your heart and pray along
for more of heaven.

Personal Application
1. There is a new realm of glory ready for you! Regardless of what level of glory you have experienced in
the past, God has more for you. It begins with hunger. Grab a journal or a notebook and find a quiet
place where you can be alone with God. Ask Him to place a fresh hunger for His presence in your spirit.
Begin to make a list of the ways God has shown His glory to you in the past. Have you seen miracles?
Experienced healing? Been given dreams or visions from the Lord? Felt His presence in tangible ways?
Write all these things down. Whether your glory experience was ankle-deep or waist-deep, thank the
Lord for His goodness in allowing you to experience His glory. Now, place your open journal before the
Lord and cry out for more. Tell the Lord, “God, I want to go deeper in You.” Allow God to give you a
vision of the glory He has for you.

2. Memorize 2 Corinthians 3:18 in the version of your choice.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that

You have made Your glory available to me. I
ask that You would open heaven and release
new levels of glory into my life. Father, speak
to me with precision and clarity. You know the
areas of my life in which I am seeking Your
direction. Give me ears to hear Your voice and
eyes to see, in faith, what the Spirit is doing.
Download the extraordinary instructions of
heaven into my spirit.

Father, I will obey Your instruction. I will do

what You are asking me to do. I will respond to
the glory, knowing that You are leading me into
the full depths of glory.

In Jesus’ name, amen!
