• Courses are the following:
Ø Beginner Level (all examination bodies)
Ø Pre-Gr 1, Gr 1 – 6 UNISA Music Theory, or
Ø Gr 1 – 6 Trinity College London Music Theory, or
Ø Gr 1 – 6 ABRSM Music Theory,
Ø Gr 1 – 6 London College of Music.
Ø AMusTCL and LMusTCL Diplomas / Certificates available (prerequisites
apply).
• Entrance to courses on proof of required level attained e.g. if entering for Gr 3, evidence of
prior knowledge needed.
• Courses presented by Ronella van Rensburg (MMus Cum Laude), accredited UNISA Music
Teacher, and owner of ScoreS2Duo Private Music Studio.

• Typically responds within 24 hours.
• Content available as PDF files, Jpeg (photo) format or as Hard Copies.
• All courses consist of 25 units, including informal assessments.
• Duration approximately 6 months, depending on individual student’s ability and work-speed.
• Each unit consists of at least one 1 new concept being explained, as well as exercises and
homework.
• As soon as a course has been completed successfully, entries for external examination and
certification can be done. Fees as determined by the relevant examination body.
• Next external examinations take place in Feb / May / Jun / Aug / Nov 2020, depending on
examination body.
• Once-off registration of R150 / €10, with copy of birth certificate / ID for exam entry
requirements.
• Beginner course: R35 / €2 per unit (25 units) or R800 / €45 for complete course.
• Pre-gr 1, Gr 1 and Gr 2: R45 / €2.50 per unit (25 units) or R1000 / €55 for complete
course.
• Gr 3 and Gr 4: R50 / €2.80 per unit (25 units) or R1250 / €70 for complete course.
• Gr 5: R55 / €3 per unit or R1375 / €76 per course.
• Gr 6 – 8: R75 / €5 per unit or R1875 / €105 per course.
• AMusTCL: R2500 / €139
• LMusTCL: R3000 / €169
