Instructions: Write a detailed report for the Ministry of Health using data mining applications and data
analytic solutions in specific reference to the covid-19 pandemic.

Choose the parameters of your reports based on your analysis of what the important aspects are. Eg
budget allocations, lockdown decisions, geographical differences etc.

Introduction: Name of coronavirus derived from latin corona that means wealth or crown.
CoronaVirus are related RNA (ribonucleic acid) virus groups caused in birds and mammals. In humans
cause respiratory tract infections range from mild to lethal. Coronaviruses constitute subfamily
orthocoronavirdae. They enveloped in positive single RNA genome and have nucleocapsid helical
symmetry. Size range of genome approximately 26 to 32 kilobases. Characteristic have club shaped
pikes that project surface.

First time in 1930 coronavirus discover when acute respiratory infection of chickens shown
that caused by infectious bronhitis virus. Humans coronaviruses dicoverd first time in 1960s. Name
was coined by david tyrrell and june almeida first studied and observers of coronaviruses. First time
corona word used to print in 1968 by virologists. Name of corona refers virions characteristic
appearance infective by virus.

In structure coronaviruses are large roughly spherical and particular with bulbous surface
projection. Average diameter of virus is around 125 nanometors Envelope 85 nanometor and spikes are
20 nanometors.

Due to coronavirus infections start when viral spike protein attaches to its complementary
host of cell receptor. After attachment host cell cleaves by protease and receptor attached spike protein
activates thats depend on host cell available protease, cleavage and activation that allows virus to enter
in host cell by endocytosis or via fusion with host membrane by viral envelop.

Coronnaviruse human infections are in risk factor significantly. More than 30% can kill by
those infections like MERS-CoV, while some are harmless like common cold. Coronviruse can cause
by major symptoms like fever, sore throat via colds.

Data and analysis:


Currently at (6/23/2020) in world there are 9268399 coronavirus cases 4992150 are
recovered 476372 are died and 3799877 are active cases in which 3741941(98%) are in mild condition
while 57936(2%) are in serious or critical. 5468522 Closed cases which had an outcome of
4992159(91%) recovered/discharges and 476372 (9%) deaths occured.
In Pakistan there are 185034 coronavirus cases report in which 73471(95%) are recovered,
3695(5%) died in 77166 closed cases while 107868 are active cases in which 3236 are critical serious
cases. Total population of our country is 220767628 in which Govt took 1126761 Total Tests Govt are
taking 5104 tests on 1M means in 196 people Govt take test of 1 person. Total deaths is in Pakistan per
million is 17 while total cases per million is 838.

Over here is several things that we forcast if Govt take test of entire country then may be
Total cases is 196 X 185034 = 3625742 Active corona cases in case of entire country corona test.

and if upcoming days number over here Forcasted is happen then date rate will be also such like
1812637 (5%) of entire population as now a days situation.

Conclusion and Policy Recomendation:


Coronavirus is rapidly spreading in world those who apply restrictions and state policies are
beat coronavirus like Japan, south Korea, Hong Kong and some others beat coronavirus without
lockdown as they use technology, health experts opinions and as a nation they fight against coronavirus
in result they beated them.

what we do in current situation which type of policy is to apply and how to protect economy specialy
our business? These are questions that everywhere in the world are asked by citizens. 1st thing to beat
coronavirus is to follow all the WHO instructions. in case we are not following WHO and health
experts Opinions result will be in more and more cases and deaths. If we try to follow instruction and
also apply technology and policies like we build apps to track coronavirus patient, Qurentine them and
protect other from them. also if we increase number of test and give facility in UC level to each
Hospital like now a days Govt doing and spread awareness then we will be in nations like newzeland,
Japan, Hong Kong, south korea etc.

For Economy its nececery to open the industries and markets as in Pakistan Wealth
distribution is 27.6% slightly varied with top 10% while 4.1% of bottom level poverty of state currently
29.5% these means that 29.5% people cannot fight with coronavirus in lockdown. so its neccesry to
apply SOPs in each market and industury.

Using Technology like tracking systems, Application, Artificial intelligence, blockchain,


open source technologies, telehealthcare, Drones and Robots in current situation we can get more
benifets and can protect economy.

So I would suggest to Govt that Apply SOPs(Standard Operating Procedure), Follow WHO
instructions, apply Technologies, Get Experts Opinions and strategies to get success against
coronviruse dieses.
