INTRODUCTION

Libacao is home to multiple cultures and traditions, known for numerous tourist spots,
majestic falls, native foods and delicacies and the ever famous talibong and of
coarse, hospitable people. This is a perfect example of a best place for fun, travel
and recreation, a place that has much to offer. Without a doubt, everyone who
visits our place will have the once in a life time experience. Indeed, this place is
SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE. Truly, “WALANG AAYAW SA LIBACAO”.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Guests and Devotees, welcome to the annual Municipal
and Religious fiesta in honor of our patron, Saint Catherine of Alexandria, May I request
everyone to rise for the entrance of our National Color, with the members of the Libacao
Philippine National Policemen headed by the Officer-In-Charge, PCPT JOSE MARLON

Approaching the grandstand are the members of the Bureau of Fire Protection of
the Libacao Fire Station with their head, the OIC, SFO2, Ricky P. Dominggo.

They are followed by the members of the Libacao College of Science and
Technology Drums and Lyre Corps and Band Majorettes trained by Mrs. Noravis I.
Zapico and Mr. John Robert Z. Navarette, with the volunteer college consultant Mrs.
Rizalita Z. Dionela.

Ladies and Gentlemen, approaching the Libacao Municipal Plaza Grand Stand are
the equally brilliant, dedicated and distinguished members of our executive committee,
our local executives, headed by the loving, and fatherly municipal mayor, Hon.

Heading the stage now are the Libacao Daycare Workers Federation, our active
and dedicated daycare workers.

and Lyre Corps and Band Majorettes trained by Ms. Reena Krizzia A. Dignos and Mr.
Sunny I. Zaulda

We also have with us today our friends from the Libacao Development
Cooperative, their officers and staff, headed by the BOD Chair. Mr. Noel T. Retolado and

 Following them are the officers and members of the National Commission on
Indigenous People of Libacao, our IP’s the Aklanon-Bukidnon Elders and community
members with Mr. Guillermo O. Colas Jr. the president of the Association of IP Elders of
Libacao, Aklan

FORMAL INTRODUCTION
To our distinguished guest of honor (Hon. Florencio T. Miraflores, Provincial
Governor, Province of Aklan, our local executives headed by Hon. Charito I. Navarosa,
our municipal mayor, Hon. Vincent I. navarosa, municipal vice mayor, the members of
Sangguniang Bayan, deped officials, barangay officials, heads of the different national,
provincial and municipal agencies, ladies and gentlemen, friends, good morning and
welcome to this years Civic Program 2019 in celebration of our Feast honouring our
patron St. Catherine of Alexandria.
The Yearly Municipal and Religious Fiesta is a significant pillar of our cultural
heritage-an expression of our Christian faith, a testament to the delivery of our traditions,
and a reaffirmation of our people’s solidarity amidst the rising tide of transformation.
This event binds the community of Libacao in celebration of gratitude to the Almighty
for the blessings of the past years. It has happily evolved from a purely religious and
social event to an opportune occasion for the collective pursuance of municipal
development programs such as sports and cultural activities. Indeed, this is the time for
the renewal of our commitment to our beloved community and the people, renewal and
strengthening of our religious fervor and faith in the Lord.
This year’s theme states “With the guidance and inspiration of St. Catherine of
Alexandria, the people of Libacao embarks on much bigger projects… A dream , now a
reality, implies the present administrations vision to provide huge and adequate
infrastructure needs of our municipality. Indeed, Libacao had been left behind and
neglected for a long time, BUT no longer today. We are now in the frontline of socio
economic development and one of the most progressive towns in western Visayas.
Beautiful, bountiful and progressive Libacao.
And so, to formally start this program, may I invite everyone to stand as we
invoke our Almighty through a doxology by the Libacao Central Elementary School
Childrens Chorale.
Please remain standing as we show respect and pride to our country by singing the
Philippine National Anthem. May I request Hon. Charito I. Navarosa, our municipal
Mayor and Dr. Ma. Daphne Y. O. Villorente, School Principal, SCACSI for the raising of
national flag, and the singing of Aklan Hymn to be led by the Libacao Central
Elementary School Childrens Chorale.
At this juncture, we will proceed with the hoisting of our municipal banner by
Hon. Vincent I. Navarosa, the municipal vice mayor together with Mr. John Razie Z.
Isagan, Public Schools District Supervisor, Deped District of Libacao (May I request the
drum and lyre corp of the different schools to play the mabuhay song for the raising of
municipal banner)

Moving on, we now proceed to the raising of Barangay Banners, by the respective
Punong barangays & kagawads, (As we all know, hoisting of the barangay banners shows
not only their pride but also hoisting the banner of high hopes, determination, and of
coarse optimism. Are we now ready? How about in this side? Ready? Alright I I think
were all good, On the count of three, Ready, One, Two, Three. Alright, thank you so
much once again to the Barangay Chairmen and Kagawads, thank you for gracing and
participating in this years civic program, Congratulations and may you continue serving
your respective constituents always at your best.

Alright, to formally welcome us all through his eloquent words, May I call in the
ever supportive and highly rated public servant, dedicated and debonair father of our
town Libacao, no other than Hon. Charito I. Navarosa,

Nurse, from the Department of Health Deployment Program, Maam?

Ladies and gentlemen, this celebration would not be complete without hearing the
inspiring message from a truly worth emulating person who has not only led the province
with 100% dedication, hard work and devotion, but also he has brought a lot of change

Culture is an important part of our upbringing and it is because of our culture, we are who
we are, both as a town and as individuals. The culture and ethnicity of our town is
something that we identify ourselves with throughout our lives and die with it. So, we
should consider ourselves privileged that we are getting to showcase the cultural glory of
our town through this event, and on the top of it all we have our selected IP’s who came
all the way from _______ who would be depicting Libacaonon art form in their very
dance performances. The Sampok Sa Kaeayo and Inagong.

And now, allow us to ignite each one of you the love for the filipino heritage, as we
witness the rich and beautiful culture of Libacao Aklan in this dance drama presentation
by the selected LCST Performing Arts Group

we are truly elated and privileged to have with us a guest who will share his words of
wisdom, let me call in one of Aklans best, lets us give around of applause to Mr.
