Initial Verification For Glass

The document summarizes the initial verification of glass for a building using three methods: calculations, SJ Mepla software, and Strand7 software. The maximum wind load was determined to be 2.13 kPa based on a tributary width of 1.5m, resulting in a uniform load of 3.195 kN/m. Verification calculations for strong and weak axes were 3.14 kN/m and 0.61 kN/m respectively. Software simulations in SJ Mepla and Strand7 were also used and found the maximum stress to be 13.94 MPa with a maximum deflection of 20.64mm.
