FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepares program proposal for submission and approval of administrators.
2. Estimates total number of graduation program for accounting and distribution to the guest, personnel, parents
and students.
3. Prepares and submit members of graduation committees for approval
4. Prepares communication letter needed from time to time.

Committee on Invitation
Chairman: Mrs. Desiree Fonte

FUNCTIONS:
1. Consults the administrators as to guest and officials to be invited by the college.
2. Distributes invitation to visitors and guests
3. Attends to invited visitors during the affair.

Committee on Reception:

FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepares lei/bouquet for “VIPS” if needed
2. Ushers and entertain visitors as needed
3. Checks visitors’ seat
4. Prepares simple visitor ID

Committee on Awards and Recognition


Chairman: Dr. Arnel L. Cataquis
Co-Chairman: Dr. Luzviminda Cardino
Members: Department Coordinators

FUNCTIONS:
1. Checks the merits of the documents of candidates submitted by the advisers
2. Sets criteria for special awards.
3. Prepares plaque of appreciation to the guest speaker
4. Submits list of awardees for printing in the program.
Deadline of Submission: March 15, 2018 - 5:00 PM

Committee on Finance and Collection of Fees


Chairman: Nelida G. Reyes
Co-Chairman: Luis Cabasis
Members: Hiyasmin Onal
FUNCTIONS:
1. Collects graduation fees on time
2. Budget items of expenditure.
3. Prepares Honoraria for guest speaker and travelling expenses.

Committee on Stage Decorations


Chairman: Mr. Ace Aceveda

FUNCTIONS:
1. Plans and submits design of the stage to the executive committee. Must have Plan A and B.
2. Prepares financial plan for approval
3. Estimates cost for funding.
4. Prepares stage on time.
5. Arranges table on the stage with proper label
6. Consults nature of arrangement and number of chairs to the management.
7. Attends to lending of curtains and graduation gowns

Committee on Hall Preparation and Arrangement of Chairs
Chairman: Mr. Stephen Alinea

FUNCTIONS:
1. Arranges chairs systematically for the ceremony
2. Assigns arrangements for graduates, parents, faculty/staff, guest and official
3. Facilitates the printing and posting of printed names of students at the back of their respective chairs.
4. Monitors cleanliness and orderliness of the hall.

Committee on Hauling of Chairs Before and after the ceremony

FUNCTIONS
1. Coordinates with the students to assist the hauling of chairs in the gym.
2. Checking and reporting of damaged chairs unfit for use
3. Counting of chairs taken from every room
4. Checking of Returned chairs.

Committee on Food and Refreshment

FUNCTIONS:
1. Coordinates with the finance committee for instructions
2. Supervises preparation of Menu if needed
3. Distributes snacks to parents and visitors

Committee on Documentation

FUNCTIONS:
1. Attends to details of ceremony that needs recording
2. Compiles documents for filing like criteria to be used in special awards, speech etc. to be submitted at the dean’s
office
3. Documents important series of activities for future use.
4. Provides rules in maintaining orderliness during picture taking, giving of bouquet, etc.
Committee on Practice of College Hymn and Selection of Graduation Song
Chairman: Paul Errol Escosora

FUNCTIONS:
1. Select graduation song relevant to the occasion including the St. Anthony College hymn.
2. Practices the students.

Committee on Rehearsal for graduation program

FUNCTIONS:
1. Checks students attendance by course
2. Checks students’ punctuality
3. Attends to students participation and behavior as to proper standing, clapping, sitting etc.
4. Offers suggestions if needed.

Committee on Entrance of Colors


Chairman: Mr. Paul Erol Escosora
Co-chairman: Mr. John Carlo Valino
Members: Mr. Jaypee Hernandez

FUNCTIONS:
1. Selects and practice students participants
2. Advices students to observe proper protocol
3. Coordinates with the program committee for practice

Committee on Processionals

FUNCTIONS:
1. Observes proper order of course in the entrance hall
2. Checks attire of Graduating students
3. Guides parents if needed

Committee on Sounds, General Services and Facilities

Functions:
1. Attends to preparation, checking and installation of sound system during the program
2. Attends to security of the building.
3. Prepares equipment in good order
4. Sees to it that facilities are provided on time.

Committee on Peace, Orderliness and Cleanliness


Chairman: Mr. Timothy Llagas
Co-chairman: Mr. Jason Balmes

FUNCTIONS:
1. Monitors the orderliness of the venue. There should be no roaming students in the college forum.
2. Secures the sacredness of the commencement ceremony. Noise must be controlled.
3. Checks the comfort rooms and make sure that there is no unpleasant odor.
4. There will be no parking lot within the parameter of the College.

Committee on WELFARE of Guest Speaker

FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists the GS and facilitates the send off
2. Makes arrangement with GS on time and place of arrival.
3. Makes reservation of her hotel
4. Carefully manages the arrangement of food subsistence and other necessities connected to her speaking
obligations

Committee on Checking of Graduation Attire for Students and Parents


Chairman: Ms. Desiree Fonte
Members: All Department Coordinators
FUNCTIONS:
For Students:
1. See to it that students are with proper haircut.
2. Use uniform during Graduation ceremony.
3. Wear black shoes.
4. Wear Graduation gown.
For Parents:
1. Wear slacks and polo shirt or long sleeves for male and Sunday best dress for female. No T-shirt and denim
pants for both male and female.
2. Children are not allowed to enter the Gymnasium during the program.
3. Wear leather shoes. Rubber shoes and slippers are not allowed.
