• The Telephone Interview

• The Group Interview
• The Lunch/diner Interview
Face to Face Interview

• Most interviews are face-to-face.


• The most traditional is a one-on-one
conversation.
• This can be a meeting between you and one
member of staff or even two members.
The Telephone Interview

• Many organizations conduct interviews by


telephone to narrow a field of candidates.
• Often companies request an initial telephone
interview before inviting candidate in for a
face to face meeting in order to get a better
understanding of candidate.
The Panel Interview

• These interviews involve a number of people


sitting as a panel with one as chairperson.
• This type of interview is popular within the
public sector.
• This type of interview is used to access the
qualities in candidate like group management
and presentation.
• Candidates are accessed from different
perspective.
The Group Interview
• A group interview is usually designed to uncover
the leadership potential of prospective managers
and employees who will be dealing with customers.
• The front-runner candidates are gathered together
in an informal, discussion type interview. A subject
is introduced and the interviewer will start off the
discussion.
• The goal of the group interview is to see how
interviewees interact with each other and how they
use their knowledge and reasoning to influence
others.
The Lunch/Dinner Interview

• This type of interview gives the employer a


chance to assess candidate’s communication
and interpersonal skills as well as their table
manners.
• Even though it’s a informal type of interview
compare to others but every move of candidate
is accessed and criticized.
