1. Introduction

· Training centre sanctioned at Uslapur, vide item no. 181 of pink book
1996-97.

· Commissioned on 21st January, 1999.

· Motion simulator of WAG7 loco commissioned on 15th August 2006.

Regular courses are being conducted to improve Engineman ship and
driving techniques of loco pilots.

· Staffs of East Coast Railway and South Eastern Railway are also
being imparted training on the simulator.

1. 100 KVA DG set for standby power supply for simulator, institute,
hostel mess and recreation room.

· Loco no 20400 WAM-4 (OP) and Loco training car for handling trouble
shooting & Practical demonstration of location of parts.
· Water coolers- 4 nos.
· RO125 litters-1 nos.
· RO 15 litters-4 nos.
· Old Diesel Training Centre, (DTC) BILASPUR Running as an extension
branch of ETLC,USL
3.3 Recreation Facilities
· Minor Gymnasium facilities like Tread Mill (Jogger), Multi Gym (6Multi station) and
Commercial Exercise Cycle are available.

· 29” Color Television with cable connection and Home theatre is available in recreation
room in hostel.

· A meditation room for trainees to take meditation in his life.

3.4 Sports Facilities

· In door sports facilities like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess are available.

· Out door sports facilities like Volley Ball and Badminton is available.

3.5 Library Facilities

· News papers, Magazines, technical & SWR books and Raj Bhasha’s related books are
available.

3.6 Teaching Aids

· LCD projectors - 10 nos.
· Over Head Projector’s - 6 nos.
· White boards - 14 nos.
· Computer’s (PC) - 14 nos.
