removed the grass from the food chain?

Students’ answers will vary. To receive full credit, answers should be at least three sentences

long and discuss how the food chain would crash/fail if the grass is removed. Students should be

able to explain that if the grass is removed then the grasshopper will not have anything to eat and

a ripple effect will happen thus causing no food source for the rest of the food chain.
