PRE-OPERATING ACTIVITES

In establishing a business, proper planning must be observed. In order to

do so, there is a need to analyze the environment of the business – both

internally and externally. This will guarantee that the plan will succeed.
64

In preparation of the Project Feasibility Study (PFS), the proponents

conducted an environmental analysis and determination of the needs and wants

of target consumers. A survey was conducted among 371 students and faculty

members of Sorsogon National High School which took 1 week to complete. This

gave the proponents a basis as to whether the proposed business will succeed

or fail.

Based on the survey, the following time frame shall be followed by the

proponents. On the month of October, the project feasibility study will be

accomplished along with product testing. The beginning of November will also

mark the beginning of sourcing out funds and the building and renovating of the

actual business site. Registration and permits, Selection and hiring of employees,

as well as the purchasing of raw materials and equipment will soon follow in the

following weeks. On the third of week of November, there will be an Orientation

and training amongst employees in preparation for the start of the actual

operations.

IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

In putting up a business there is a need to plan for its activities to ensure

minimal errors. The following implementation plan will be utilized for the
