Job Profile
Pumps, Mechanical Seals and Alignment:
Worked in centrifugal pumps, split casing, vertical and back pull out type. Reciprocating and
Rotary pumps in various capacities and different working temperatures.
Pumps:
 Preventive and Breakdown maintenance in all type of Centrifugal pumps.

 Maintenance of Multi stage High-pressure and High Capacity pumps.

 Worked in Plunger, Piston, and Air Diaphragm pumps.


 Worked in single, and high pressure & high capacity Pumps.

 Trouble shooting and overhauling of gear pumps for Oil service.

Mechanical Seals:
 Worked in all type of Cartridge seals.

 Worked in Single Double and Tandem seals (pusher and Non pusher type.)

 Worked in dry gas seal system for Centrifugal compressor.

Alignment:
 Rotating equipments are aligned by dial gauge at the method of RIM/FACE, LASER and
REVERSE INDICATOR.
Shims are measured by using calculation and graphical method.
Reciprocating compressors:
 Preventive maintenance and trouble shooting of compressors.

 Servicing of suction and discharge valves.

 Checking of primary and secondary packing, inspection of bearings, cross heads, piston
rod deflection, and piston rings and rider rings replacement.

Centrifugal Compressors:
Worked in Demaag Delaval and Ac compressor single stage centrifugal Gas compressors.
 Impeller removing from the casing for cleaning.

 Dismantling and assembling of diaphragms.

 Bearing inspection and rotor centering.

 Lube oil and seal oil circuit auxiliaries PM and its troubleshooting.

Steam & Gas Turbines:


 Involved startup, shutdown and trouble shooting of steam turbines.

 Setting of rotor axial float, bearing clearances and over speed trip bolt checking.

 Preventive and shutdown activities in ejectors, surface condensers, condensate pumps


and control valves, emergency shut of valve and oil coolers.

Gear Boxes:
Serviced speed changing (Step Up and Step Down) and Direction changing gearboxes (for
Cooling tower fan, Fin fan, Agitator and EOT Crane gearboxes)
Rotating Equipment’s:
Attended Maintenance works in Gearboxes, Agitators, Fin fan coolers, Cooling tower fans, Lobe
blowers, ID and FD fans, and Dosing pumps.
 Gearbox bearing inspection, Gear back clashes checking.
 Fin fan PM activities, Bearing housing replacement, Blade angle checking and Hydro
testing the Bundle.

Static Equipment’s:
Distillation columns: Involved in modification works of bi-frac tray, shieve tray.
 Inspection of trays, down comers, truss and supporting beams.

 Assembling & dismantling the trays. And leveling the trays.

Valves:
Servicing, pressure testing and parts changing of various types of valves such as Gate valve,
Globe valve, Ball valve, Plug valve, Needle valve, butterfly valve, Safety relief valve, pressure
relief valves & Steam traps.
Heat Exchangers:
Involved maintenance activities of fixed, floating head type and ‘U’ tube bundle, kettle type heat
exchangers.
 Hydro testing of shell test tube test and dome test.

 Tube plugging and replacement, Hydro jetting.

Boiler and Heat Transfer Units:


 Involved cleaning, hydro testing, and burner repair works and gun replacement.

 Overhauling of soot blowers, ID and FD fans. Safety valves.

 Boiler accessories maintenance.

Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Activities:


 Oil Flushing of all lubrication line.

 Burner Cleaning, Periodical Compressor Washing Other start up activities.

Special Features:
 Work to wards extra ordinary safety.

 P&ID knowledge in rotating and static Equipments.

 Participate safety observation program on monthly basis.

 Having knowledge about near miss, near hit, incident report, on job safety off job safety.

 Having knowledge about lock out/ tag out procedure.
