OVERVIEW KEY FEATURES

HDS-101G/GN are handheld devices designed to • Gamma & neutron independent measuring
search for and identify radioactive materials and to channels
respond to radiological threats such as illicit • Wide gamma measurement range
trafficking and RDDs. • Very high sensitivity and fast response
• Detection threshold relative to background
They are able to identify radionuclides and classify level and dose rate safety alarm
them as medical, industrial, naturally occuring • Real time rejection of sudden background
radioactive materials (NORM) and special nuclear variation (VBS algorithm)
materials (SNM). • Automated spectra acquisition on alert and
automatic identification (NMD algorithm)
They can be used to detect, localize and • Clear discrimination of risk categories
characterize threats during radiological surveys or • LCD display with backlight
for secondary screening as perfect complement • Spectrum display
for installed radiation detection portals. • Visual and audible alarms
• Wireless communication interface
The HDS-101G/GN are ideally suited for First • Designed to meet/exceed IAEA, IEC, ANSI
Responders, Border & Customs inspectors, Law standards
Enforcement Officers, Site Security in critical
infrastructures, and for all applications related to
the control ofradioactive and nuclear materials.
