The aim of the BCA Career Office is to facilitate career development through
various services and to provide counselling on work related issues. Three main
pillars of activity underpin the BCA Career Office‘s mission:
• Facilitation of recruitment process: The BCA Career Office accumulates the available job ads and posts them on the
BCA Career Network site, which BCA students and alumni access. Applicants, who meet the requirements of the
positions, can submit CVs directly through the site. Numerous well-known companies turn to BCA seeking to hire its
students and alumni, resulting in more than 200 interviews each year. Many of these companies belong to BCA Alumni,
who seek to hire fellow BCA students and Alumni, a fact that portrays the solidarity and unity characterising the vast
BCA family.
• Consulting services: BCA students and alumni can schedule appointments in order to resolve queries regarding CV and
cover letter writing, and / or perform mock interviews.
• Events: Each year the BCA Career Office organizes the BCA Career Day, in which all BCA students and alumni can
participate. Also during the year didactic seminars, lectures and workshops are held, on work-related issues, e.g. CV
writing, the job search process, networking, the use of social media (LinkedIn), etc.

Why study in Greece

Greece is a country of approximately 11 million people, a member of the European Union, the European Monetary
Union, and one of the oldest civilisations recorded in human history, spanning over 5,000 years. In the area now labeled
as Greece, 3 civilisations (Mycenean, Minoan and Cycladic), 700 city states and one empire (Byzantine) have thrived and
have had a marked and lasting influence in the culture, arts and history of the Western Civilisation.

Education and learning in ancient Greece was one of the most important processes, and one of the world’s first Lyceums
or proto-Universities were established by esteemed philosophers, whose role was also that of the teacher. Aristotle,
Plato and Socrates had all established their own proto-Universities, centers of inquiry, rational thought and science.

Apart from its rich history and tradition, Greece is a land of remarkable beauty, diverse landscapes and one of the
world’s most pleasant climates with over 230 days of sunshine per year. Greece has over 1,000 islands of which 230 are
inhabited, and one if the world’s longest coastlines.

Tourism, shipping and services provide the majority of its Gross Domestic Product, with 23 million tourists arriving in
Greece yearly to enjoy its rich historic sites, sandy beaches and cosmopolitan cities.

Life at BCA

Apart from offering a rigorous academic experience, BCA aims to promote student engagement through the
participation of various athletic and cultural activities organised each year.

Students are encouraged to actively participate in sports teams, including basketball and soccer, in various
educational excursions and trips, both in Greece and abroad and in clubs such as the Drama Society, which
organises a theatrical production every year. In parallel to their studies and activities at BCA, students also have
the option of exploring the Greek culture and life in one of the oldest known cities in the world - Athens.

Our goal is to offer our students an all-encompassing experience filled with moments of fun, which facilitate the
development of long-lasting friendships, the spirit of teamwork and the improvement of numerous skills deemed
necessary for personal and professional growth.

BCA Scholarships

BCA College is the the oldest private historic private college in Greece that offers, with consistency and credibility, high
level studies that are directly related to the labor market needs.

We believe that financial difficulties should not stand as an obstacle to young people who have the will and the talent to
distinguish. This is why, BCA -commited for social solidarity- created the BCA Sponsorship Fund for gifted youngsters
that wish to study Business Administration and Marketing, Maritime, Hotel Management, but cannot afford it financially.

Our partners in this program are large companies of the Greek market, that contribute actively in order to maximize
the BCA Sponsorship Fund impact and to create a supporting framework for young people that want to enter the labor
market, with substantial and recognized academic skills.
