And Learn Aptitudes To Flourish Throughout Everyday Life

The three texts discuss the importance of sleep for physical and mental health. Sound sleep is necessary for the brain to process information and store memories. Insufficient sleep can lead to chronic diseases and mental health issues like depression due to the body's inability to restore and rejuvenate itself. Seeing a psychologist can help address behaviors, thoughts, and emotions that prevent healthy sleep and treat underlying conditions linked to insomnia.

Main Idea: Sound rest is basic for everybody, since we as a whole need to hold data
and learn aptitudes to flourish throughout everyday life.

Evidence that supports the main idea (provide at least two):

a. As we go about our day, our brains take in an incredible amount of information.
Rather than being directly logged and recorded, however, these facts and experiences
first need to be processed and stored; and many of these steps happen while we sleep.

b. Researchers have also shown that after people sleep, they tend to retain information
and perform better on memory tasks. Our bodies all require long periods of sleep in
order to restore and rejuvenate, to grow muscle, repair tissue, and synthesize
hormones.
