Freelancing

Problem statement:
Maintaining a good portfolio is a great way to showcase your talent. The portfolio section of your
freelance profile should show related work when potential buyers arrive. Your portfolio can help set
yourself apart from others and give buyers an idea of the benefits of working with you.
In this exercise, you'll manage to present your skill-related work that you may have previously completed
or create a new work to show what you can efficiently do for your buyers. It’ll increase your chances of
getting hired by potential employers/buyers.

Tasks:
1. Register on any freelance platform which allows adding portfolio.
Note: If you have already registered on the freelance platform that allows adding portfolio then
there is no need to register on a new freelance platform.
2. Collect all the files which reflect the best of your work relevant to your skillset. If you do not have
any previous work then create sample work of your skill/service. (Provide screenshots of
previous/sample work*)
3. Write a brief description of your previous work. You can explain the tools and techniques you had
used to complete the previous job(s). (Provide content*)
4. Upload the files which you have already collected in “Task 2” with the description in the portfolio
section of your freelance account. After creating your portfolio successfully, take the
screenshot(s).

I have selected zeerk.com to present my portfolio. Here are the screenshots of the account
registration.
2. Collect all the files which reflect the best of your work relevant to your skillset. If you do not
have any previous work then create sample work of your skill/service.
Here are the screenshots of website/application that I have designed for my client.
3. Write a brief description of your previous work. You can explain the tools and techniques
you had used to complete the previous job(s).

Trellis is an Android application used by Yale University researchers to develop surveys and
administer them to communities, enabling them to map real-world networks in rural villages and collect
survey/social network data. I have used WordPress to create their website and Kotlin programing
language to design their application. The theme represents their branding and specially designed
according to the client’s needs. Being passionate about building excellent websites/applications that
improve the lives of those around me, I always focus on providing 100% customer satisfaction.

4. Upload the files which you have already collected in “Task 2” with the description in the
portfolio section of your freelance account. After creating your portfolio successfully, take
the screenshot(s).
