Scope of Work – Database Generation Work - Angola

Introduction:

Target Geographies: We need to build a database in Angola. There are 16-17 accounts
to profile. We will provide you details on these companies.

Target Accounts: These are the companies, which are the Automotive brand dealers or
Automotive brand franchise operators. Car dealers, Truck Dealers, Bus Dealers, Tractors
Dealers, Motorcycles Dealer, Construction Equipment Dealer are the target companies.

For example: Harley-Davidson Jordan, is a franchise operator of Harley Davidson


motorcycles, Unity Trading Est is authorised dealer for Hyundai vehicles in Jordan,
Jordan Tractor & Equipment Co. is a dealer of tractors and construction equipment of
Caterpillar brand, MAN Truck & Bus AG (Regional Middle East) is a dealer of MAN brand
of Trucks, MAN Buses and MAN Vans.

Passenger car brands like Honda, Toyota, Kia, Suzuki, MG, Volkswagen, Nissan, Audi,
Mercedes, Jeep, Land Rover etc; Commercial vehicles brands like Tata Trucks, Volvo
trucks, Man Buses etc; and construction equipment brand like Caterpillar, JCB etc. are
our target accounts. Big tractor dealers can also be profiled.

Any automotive brand dealer, franchise operator of an automotive brand is a relevant


account. Passenger cars dealer, Commercial vehicle dealer, construction equipment
dealer, Motorcycles dealers or other two wheeler dealers are essentially the accounts in
focus.

Fields of Data to be generated:

1. Dealer Name: This is name of the account we are profiling (we will provide)

2. Account Origin Status: Keeps track of data / account source, whether this account
has given by client or added by us. We can write “Account provided by Client” if this is a
client provided account / or “Account added by us” if we found and profiled this account
and was not provided by the client. (Narration given below)

3. Organisation Details:
1. Address
2. Location
3. Board Number
4. Website
5. Automobile Brands deals in (Narration given below)

Details of below officials are required.

4. Category – 1 Official
CEO, MD, Director, Chief Operating Officer (COO), General Manager etc.

Details required:
1. First name
2. Last name
3. Position
4. E-mail ID (mandatory field) /
5. LinkedIn Link (wherever available)
6. Contact Number - Mobile Number, Direct Number, Extensions (wherever
available)
5. Category – 2 Official
CFO, Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Finance Controller, In-charge - Finance etc.

Details required:
1. First name
2. Last name
3. Position
4. E-mail ID (mandatory field)
5. LinkedIn Link (wherever available)
6. Contact Number - Mobile Number, Direct Number, Extensions (wherever
available)
6. Category – 3 Official
Sales Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Administration Head, Head of Sales and
Marketing etc.

Details required:
1. First name
2. Last name
3. Position
4. E-mail ID (mandatory field)
5. LinkedIn Link (wherever available)
6. Contact Number - Mobile Number, Direct Number, Extensions (wherever
available)

7. Category – 4 Official
Parts Manager, Spare Parts Head, In-charge of Spare parts, or any Official who is In-
charge for spare parts and stock etc.

Details required:
1. First name
2. Last name
3. Position
4. E-mail ID (mandatory field)
5. LinkedIn Link (wherever available)
6. Contact Number - Mobile Number, Direct Number, Extensions (wherever
available)

8. Category – 5 Official (This is most important official under focus as per client)
IT Manager, Chief Information Officer, Head - IT, In-charge - IT, ERP Head, Head
Business Applications, Digital Transformation Head or any Official who is in-charge of IT
and Business solutions

Details required:
1. First name
2. Last name
3. Position
4. E-mail ID (mandatory field)
5. LinkedIn Link (wherever available)
6. Contact Number - Mobile Number, Direct Number, Extensions (wherever
available)

9. Additional Details: It carries the details on what company does as given in “About
Us” section of company (Narration given below)

Points to be noted:
1. The database of pre-defined accounts will be provided by client. However in case we
are not able to profile a given account as it is closed or merged or may be no information
is available, we can find any other similar company and profile it to keep the number
same. Any automotive franchise holder or dealer like passenger car brand, commercial
vehicle brand, truck, bus brand dealer, construction equipment dealer we can give.
For example, suppose we need to profile 35 accounts from Uganda, but we could profile
only 30 accounts from the given names, then in this case we can find other five accounts
and profile it; this is to keep the number of profiled accounts to 35 only.

There is a column in the profile sheet- "Account Origin Status", which keeps track of data
/ account source, whether this account has given by client or added by us.

2. There is a column in the last of profile sheet - "Additional Details", in which you need
to add details on what company does. Simply activities and operations of a company.
Samples are given for your understanding. You can take details from About Us from the
websites of the companies or from LinkedIn page of the company or may be from other
sources.

3. Every Official we need cannot be found on LinkedIn or company website, we need to


call the company and find out the right Officials.

4. Any relevant Official, we found on LinkedIn or Internet, we need to confirm from


company over the phone that this officials is still working or not. Because people
sometimes do not update their LinkedIn even after leaving the company.

5. Please pay attention to phone numbers, there are multiple number, which you shared
are not working any more.

6. For every number we find, we will identify, if this is a Mobile number, board number
or direct number or may be extension number. We should write as below:

'+962 6456 0987 (B) (for board number)


'+962 78654 123 (M) (for mobile number)
'+962 6456 0087 (D) (for direct number)
'+962 6456 0987 (B); Extn 1234 (for any extension number)

7. The details of IT Officials are very necessary as our client has a focus on this Official.

8. There is a column “Automobile Brands deals in”, we need to find details on which
automotive brand company deals in. If the company is in passenger cars as well as in
commercial trucks, then we will give details of brands of the segments. For Example:
Passenger Cars: Mini Cooper, BMW, Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Opel
Commercial Vehicles: Tata, Daewoo, Fuso

9. This is a tele calling focussed campaign, every detail we found needs to confirmed
from the company we are profiling; and any detail missing, we need to take it from the
company itself.

10. Sample format sheet with some completed profiles are given as an attachment.

11. LinkedIn link, email ID, mobile numbers are very important, so we need to find out
these details with all our efforts.
12. If in case we found two Officials in one category, then we should give name and
other details of both the officials.

For example, if we found details of CIO and Head of Business Application Head, then we
should give details of both these officials.

13. Format parameter: Font Size: 09, Font: Verdana, Alignment: Centre.

14. Spell check is mandatory to run and give the correct spellings.

15. Minimum names and other details of four Officials are mandatory out of five.

16. We will also provide you with raw data for every country, which will have hundreds
of similar companies and multiple relevant officials, you can use this data also.

 You can use this data to find out details of officials for the given accounts
 You can use this data to take other alternative company to profile if in case client
provided company could not get profiled.
 This is gathered through secondary research and is not validated, so any data
taken from this raw data needs to be validated.

17. As per clients requirements there may be a change in any parameter given above.

Guide to add other companies and profile, which is not given in main list of
companies:

 There might be a possibility that you would not be able to profile and complete
the main companies given to you due to company is closed, merged, very small
with only 5-10 employees, duplicate company having similar details and clashing
with other company given in the list or you are not getting details.
 In these cases you can profile any other company with similar nature of work like
automotive brand dealer, franchise operator of an automotive brand is a relevant
account. Passenger cars dealer, Commercial vehicle dealer, construction
equipment dealer, these should be big dealers with automobiles selling
(wholesale, retail) business.
 Any company which offers only servicing of cars or sells only spare parts cannot
be profiled as these are not our accounts.
 Any company which sells only used cars and is not a dealer cannot be profiled.
 It is a telecalling based campaign, so every detail needs to be validated by calling
the reception / board line of the company you are profiling.
 A raw data will also be given for your help, which contains other similar
companies in the region. The companies from this data can be used if any main
company could not get profiled.

Important Points to Note:

The data shared to profile, will contain only indicative accounts as per our knowledge;
however there will be companies which will not be relevant as per our objective due to
reasons given below. These companies will not be profiled.

 The company is not a dealer of car


 The company is too small and does not have relevant officials asked or has only a
few employees
 The company is only a seller of used cars and does not sell new cars.
 The company is closed or merged and is not into existence.
 The company is only a spare parts dealer, battery dealer or accessories dealer;
and does not sell new cars.
 The company does not operate in the country we are working in and is based
somewhere else.

In the above scenarios, please do not work on the company and find other relevant
companies from Google search or LinkedIn etc or may be from raw data provided to you.
The target is to complete 85 companies from Egypt. Finding of relevant companies is
also the job role of Freelancer hired.

The calling to the company board or officials is mandatory to validate the information
gathered from website or LinkedIn and to find out the missing details.
