Janine Halloran Speaking at Pesi Summit Press Release Dpa Final
Braintree, Mass. (July 21, 2020) – Janine Halloran, licensed mental health counselor and bestselling
author of Coping Skills for Kids Workbook, is honored to announce her involvement in this year’s largest
mental health summit focused on helping children and adolescents cope during these trying times. The
non-profit organization, PESI, is hosting Halloran as a featured speaker along with other notable industry
professionals in the Two-Day virtual summit entitled Child and Adolescent Mental Health in an
Uncertain Time: Reintegration Strategies for Classroom and Community. The seminar takes place live
online on Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET.
Between social distancing, loss of connection, stressed out parents, lack of structure, racial injustices
and unsafe homes, children and teens need support now more than ever. With over 15 years of
experience working with children and their families, Halloran has prepared a special presentation
introducing safe ways for children and teens to deal with the everchanging cultural climate.
“I’m truly honored and humbled to be speaking alongside this group of influential people,” said Janine
Halloran, CEO and Founder of Coping Skills for Kids. “Our children need us; they have endured a drastic
and abrupt lifestyle change and are witnessing a lot for a young, developing mind. My hope is that
attendees will feel supported and motivated to help children adjust.”
Led by keynote speakers Dr. Bessel van der Kolk and Eliana Gill, the event will feature a real-time Q&A
with professionals around the world, interaction with mental health speakers, and powerful advice on
how to return to a new ‘normal’ academic atmosphere. Attendees will discover ways to talk to kids and
teens about meeting academic and social demands again, integrating a regulated schedule,
understanding and responding effectively to school anxiety, and transforming perspective of
oppositional behavior, to name a few.
Valued at $1,859.79, participants can secure their spot today for just $299.99 by visiting the PESI online
registration site. In addition, the course allows attendees to receive up to 34 CE course hours, if
applicable.
