A HZS series concrete mixing facility is a concrete production system centered on the main
structure combined by functional cellular chains. These units include aggregate batching and weighing
system, feeding system, mixing system, filler storage and weighing system, water & admixture storage
and weighing system, pneumatic system, control system and main structure, among them the main
structure is the fabrication center of the finished product. Its widely used in roads, buildings , dams , docks ,
airports and other construction projects.

The symbol of the plant include of character, quantity of mixer, type, main
parameter and alternation. The structure of the plant symbol is as follow:
4.1. Environment
Avoid intensive resident area.
The traffic should be considered for the mounting place, the distance between the
mixer to the job site should be the shortest.
Soft land can’t be the place for a mixing plant.
The quantity of the material in the job site can be used at least 24 hours continually for
the mixer.
4.2. Work condition
a. Weather: environment temperature: 1ºC~40°C
Moisture: 90%
b. Power supply voltage: -15%~10% V
frequency: ±2%f
Notes: “V” above mean rated voltage 380 V, “f” mean rated frequency 50HZ.

For safety use and maintenance, when operating and maintenance, user must do as
follow:
Operation and maintenance personnel should work under this conditions:
5.1 He has read and understood the use of the equipment maintenance manual.
5.2 He has mastered the operation program, amendment of parameter settings,
amendment and proceeding of early warning systems. He must have the related
electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication knowledge, and the basic
knowledge of computers and the safety knowledge of the machine (safe alert labels,
logos), as well as the knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of cement
and admixture.
5.3 He has been trained how to operate the machine or other similar type of
machine. After a good occupational safety and training of his own wo rk, he
understands the national and local government-issued security, environmental
policies.
Operation maintenance personnel should be noted :
5.4 it is strictly prohibited the personnel, who is not qualified, or without
authorized by the manager to power on, operate, or work for others. To establish
operation procedures to eliminate personnel and equipment accident caused by
malfunction.
5.5 It must be confirmed before the device is turned on make sure there is
no dangerous situation!
5.6 The person who is not the manager or operation and maintenance personnel
must not enter into the production site ( especially the control room, the bottom of the
mixer , etc. ) .
5.7 After starting the machine, the operating personnel must not leave the
control room.
5.8 All of the cabinet doors must be kept closed when the device is in operating
status.
Users must strictly comply with the following:
5.9 It is not allowed to produce the product over the equipment within the
specified range.
5.10 Disassembly of safety devices is strictly prohibited.
5.11 It shall not be lack of maintenance of equipment and meters in order to keep
the work efficiency.
5.12 It is prohibited to change the equipment without the authorization of our
company.
5.13 Make sure that the brand, the physical and chemical properties of lubricants
meet the requirements of the instruction manual, and power supplies and water meet
the requirements.
Maintenance and repair work of the equipment
5.14 Must power off the main power, remove the power switch key and
hang the warning signs " DO NOT POWER ON " with the confirmation of the
assistant before repairing electrical systems, belt conveyor and mixer! ! !
5.15 The maintenance personnel should be through professional training and
with relevant documents.
5.16 Wear goggles when using compressed air to clean machinery and
equipment.
5.17 When removing parts, pay attention that there is no personnel at the lower
or possible crossing staff.

Concrete mixing plant compound a full system itself, there are several functional units
and a mixer as the center. These units include: main mixer, conveyer system,
weighing system, mixing system, air system, water supply system, control system.
The structure as fig 1

The concrete mixing equipment is relatively independent operation of each
functional unit, to complete the designed work solely, but such action sequence,
working time is controlled by the control system. The functional unit of previous
processes and the functional unit of next procedure are equipped with a connection
interface device, and each functional unit can act in unison, in close coordination, in
strict accordance with the production process to arrange the functional unit processes.

2.1、Dosage and weighing system:2.1.1、Agg. dosageand weighing system
The plant has three ( four) aggregate bins, which can use for three (four) kinds of
dosage. It can be feed by a loader.
Aggregate weighing bin get material from the loading hopper controlled by a
weighing control computer, the weigh can finish the functions such as set weight, tare,
freefall compensation, output the control signal, etc. There are four high precise
weighing sensors hang on the aggregate weighing bin, the belt conveyer is under the
weighing bin. The weighing controller can control three or four kinds of aggregate
weighing depend on the condition. All hoppers send material to the lower bins by
setting process.
Aggregate discharging accuracy is controlled by adjusted discharging speed with
positioning device under the hopper. Before set dosing-value has arrived to 90%, two
discharging gates open. Since 90% dosing value has arrived, one discharging gate
closes, another opens, which can improve the accuracy of aggregate weighing. When
all aggregates are ready, they will be conveyed into mixers by belt conveyor. After
conveying process ends, next weighing round begins.

2.1、2、Powder weighing
Filler includes cement, mineral filler, admixture etc powder
Cement, mineral filler, ect, are stored by silos, and conveyed by screw conveyor
at a large angle.
Cement and mineral filler, ect, are supplied to weighing hopper through screw
conveyor according to set process. Supplying process is controlled by computer.
When set value arrives, control system will stop supplying this filler and open
another screw conveyor of another filler. When all fillers are ready, control
system will display automatically and give signals to butterfly cylinder. Then
butterfly cylinder opens, fillers get into mixer. When discharging gate opens,
vibrator starts to work to avoid cement from blocking.
It is one weighing process from butterfly valve closing, aggregate supplying into
weighing hopper, weighing, supplying end, to aggregate feeding with
butterfly valve opening.
In order to ensure the weighing accuracy, please notice:
(1)Reinforced canvas sleeve or rubber sleeve should be used to connect
filler weighing device and screw conveyor, and filler weighing device to mixer.
(2)Ventilation pipe between filler weighing device and mixer should not be
blocked
(3)Sensor should be installed correctly.(showed in following diagram)
(4)Discharging butterfly valve should be cleaned at certain time.
(5) Weighing device should be calibrated periodically.

2.1、3、Water and Admixture weighing
Water and additive are called fluid material in concrete materials
Water and additive storage is determined by supplying condition. Water and
additive will be pumped into weighing device from storage tank on the ground..
(1)、Water weighing
Water pumped to the weighing water tank, the water weighing controlled by a
micro-computer, when the weight get to the set value, the weigher give a signal to the
pump and shut down the pump, and the weighing water finished. The PLC controlled
pump begin to spray water after the aggregate get to the mixer 10 seconds later.
When the water value was down to zero, the weigher give a signal to stop the spray
pump and go to the next turn of water weighing.
(2)、Admixture weighing
Admixture was pumped to the admixture weighing tank, the admixture weighing
controlled by a micro-computer, when the weight get to the setting value, the weigher
give a signal to stop the pump and the weighing admixture finished. The PLC start to
drive an air cylinder to open the door and let the admixture drop to the mixing tank
after the aggregate get to the mixer 10 seconds later. When the admixture is down to
zero, the weigher give a signal to close the air cylinder, and the next weighing begin.
In order to ensure the accuracy of weighing, please notice:
(1) Soft rubber sleeve should be used to connect additive scale and water
discharging pipelines.
(2) Sensor’s installation must be right (showed in following diagram).
(3) Water and additive discharging valve should be checked every day to avoid
leaking
(4) Weighing device should be calibrated periodically.

2.2、Mixing system
Mixer is categorized into JS-A,JS-B and JS-C type
JS-B and JC-D type mixer is in common use
JS-B mixer is equipped by Chinese brand gearbox, driven by electrical drive gearbox
and chain wheel bars. Both gearwheels are synchronized at the low speed terminal. It
is economic and reliable.
JS-C mixer is made by our company and Simen company from Italy together with an
international manufacturing level, which is advanced in China. Gearboxes are
imported overseas with a large load capacity. Shat terminal is sealed by labyrinth
floating sealing device with imported oil supplying device, which is reliable. Two shafts
are connected by universal joint with simple structure and easy maintenance.

2.3.Mixing tower
The mixing tower is made of tower columns, mixing section, its platform, dosage
section, its column, platform and external covering(optional) and so on. Considering
that the plant may be frequently transferred from one worksite to another, all of
components are designed to be removable and joint with one another by bolts of great
strength.
The mixing tower is intended to support mixer, transitional hopper, powder scale,
water scale, additive scale and so on. It’s structure is made of welded big size steel.
Dimensions of all components meet transport requirements.
Assembly and installation of the mixing tower should be carried out in strict
accordance with document “ concrete mixing plant installation operation guida”.
2.4、Pneumatic system
Air supplied by one V-1.05/7 type air compressor, the air get to all division pipes
after a air tank, a dropping valve, an air-water separator and an oil fogger. The air
pressure should be kept in range of 0.4--0.8MPa during transport.
The air system including: aggregate weighing, cement discharge, admixture off,
concrete discharge and cement fluidization nozzle groups.
PL2400Aggregate weighing routine has six air cylinders and six valves. The air
cylinders can open and close all gates of the material for loading and weighing.
PL2400B Aggregate weighing routine has eight air cylinders and eight valves.
The air cylinders can open and close all gates of the material for loading and
weighing.
Cement discharge routine has one air cylinder and one valve, the air cylinder
drive a butterfly valve to open the discharge gate and load material to the mixer after
finish weighing and get an order.
Admixture routine has a cylinder and a valve, the air cylinder open the gate and
feed material to the mixer after complete weighing and get an order.
Concrete routine has two cylinders and two reversing valve. Two air cylinders
work together to open and close the discharge gate after get orders.(semi-discharging
and full discharging can arrive.)
Aggregate discharge routine has one cylinder and one reversing valve.They
work together to open and close the discharge gate after get orders.
2.5、Fluid supplying system
Liquid supply system includes pumps, valves, liquid tanks, etc, user can manufacture
a water tank or a water pool, depending on the real condition. When the control
system gives out liquid supply signal, pump is activated and water and additive are
sent into respective dosage box and bucket. You could adjust water supply time
through setting opening degree of valve. When it reaches set liquid value, the pump
stops work.
2.6、Filler storage system
Filler is stored into steeliness silos normally.
Silo is categorized into 50t、100t、150t、200t、250t、300t、400t、500, ect.
Silo capacity and quantity choice depends on the distance from the filler supplier.

Silo consists of silo vat, top filter, top safety valve, upper and under level meter,
fluidization nozzle and discharging butterfly valve.
In order to ensure silo safety, please notice:
(1) Silo should be sealed
(1) Top filter should be cleaned at certain time. Filtering bag should be replaced.
(2) Top safety should be checked at certain to ensure its opening flexibility.
(3) Ensure the reliability of the upper and under level sensors
(4) Clean the water accumulated inside the pipelines of the fluidization nozzle.
Cement stored in the silo for a long time should be converted at a certain time in
case of cement agglomeration.

The Flat belt conveyor could be tilted to maximum angle of 20 degrees and is
more frequently used to transport aggregate in large economic plant (HZS150 above )
and commercial concrete mixing plant. It’s distinguished with huge transportation
volume, ease in cleaning, simple structure and low fault rate. However due to its
limited inclination angle it takes lots of ground area.
The v-form belt conveyor lies between flat belt conveyor t and trough belt
conveyor. Its transportation angle could be up to 27 degrees. Its head is fitted with
brush cleaner and in comparison with the trough belt conveyor it’s easier to clean
and in comparison with the flat belt conveyor it requires far less land. But because the
v-form strips are fastened manually they are prone to drop off after exploitation for
some time.
Generally the skip conveyor is tilted to angle of 70 degrees, even up to 90
degrees. It is capable to complete material transport in one trip, eliminating the need
for a transitional hopper. The traction rope used in this delivery system is easy to wear
out, so it’s required to regularly check it and in case of damage replace it.
In order to ensure normal work of belt conveyor, please notice:
(1)、 driven device
(a)、Electrical roller driven device
Ⅰ、 Frequently check internal oil quantity of rollers. The best oil quantity should keep
at 2/3 semi-diameter of the roller. Cooling oil quantity is should in its instruction
manual

Ⅱ、Lubricant oil should be exchanged after 300 hours at the first working of the
electric rollers. Then lubricant oil should be exchanged per 5000 hours
Ⅲ、Electrical roller must be no-load started up normally.
Ⅳ、Oil sealing ring should be adjusted and oil sealing should be replaced
according to sealing condition of rollers.
(b)、Gear-box driven system
Ⅰ、Tight degree of belt should be checked and adjusted before working every
day
Ⅱ、Lubricant oil should be exchanged after 300 hours at the first working of the
reducer. Then lubricant oil should be exchanged per 5000 hours
Ⅲ、Oil sealing ring should be adjusted and oil sealing should be replaced
according to sealing condition of reducers.
(2)、Supporting device
Ⅰ、There are two types of supporting rollers to support belt: flat roller and
trough-form roller.
Ⅱ、Supporting rollers can support the belt and keep the belt at the central
position.
Ⅲ、Rollers should be checked often in case of non-working.
(3)、Tension device
Ⅰ、Tension devices includes rear tension device and weighted hammer device:
Ⅱ、The former one is intended to stop the belt from deviation if the belt conveyors
is also fitted with the later one. However if the belt conveyors is not also
fitted with the later one, the former one would be used not only to keep the
belt from deviation but also adjust the belt tension.
Ⅲ、Tighten degree of the belt should be checked often. Check and adjust the belt

punctually when abnormal noise from driven roller is heard.
(4)、Cleaning device
Ⅰ、It is used to clean the belt.
Ⅱ、Cleaners are equipped at the upper part and the tail part.
Ⅲ、Contiguity condition between cleaner and belt should be checked usually in
case of belt wear and tear.
(5)、safety devices
Ⅰ、the belt conveyor is fitted with rope switch, which you could pull in case of
emergence to stop it.
Ⅱ、the skip elevator is fitted with limit and proximity switches.
Ⅲ、check safety device’s functionality every day. If anyone is found damaged
immediately change it.
2.8、Control system
Control system including a Mitsubishi PLC controller made in Japan and
electronic scales. The process including weighing, conveying, lifting, mixing and
discharging can be automatic or semi automatic depending on the required. There are
self-lock, inter-lock and alarm functions in the control system, guarantee the system
work exactly.
And there is an industry manage computer, which demo the running state of all
parts of the plant on a color monitor, the operator can get information immediately
from the monitor, the computer can save the dosage and type statement by a printer.
Computer control system can reach following functions:
Automatically control aggregate feeding, weighing, discharging, mixing and
unloading whole process.
Customer-kindly operation interface.
Dosing value can be saved, and showed during machine’s working.
Both open and close condition of Aggregate bin gate and scale gate and aggregate
level in the scale can be displayed during the process of weighing and discharging.
Auto clearance and adjustment to the scale can be achieved.
Self-check and self-protection can arrive.
Print and display report forms at any time.

1.1、Foundation
There are two kinds of equipment foundation: fixed and block assembled. Make
the foundation according to the requirements of the foundation drawing, which is
given along with the equipment.
The technical requirement of the foundation erecting:
The cement, steel for erecting the foundation must have the QC passed certificates,
and after passed re-inspection can be used for erecting the foundation. Concrete
strength≥C20, free from honeycomb face, reveal rock or steel. Use angle iron to
protect the corner. Ground strength ≥150Kp, slab rock and sand on the ground if the
ground strength less than 150Kp, there is drainage around the foundation preventing
it from seeping.
Planar tolerance ≤ 1‰ in the length of the diagonal of the working surface.
Casting the surface with 100mm thick C10 concrete, smoothing the surface with a
pattern strickle under a horizontal line control. The tolerance of horizontal ≤ 5mm.
Fastener with spring washer, washer or double nuts to preventing loose, and with
reasonable preset force.
Acceptance check is according to the civil construct inspection specification after
the finish of the foundation erecting.
1.2、Install condition
1.2.1、Personnel
a、User must organize an install team for erecting the plant, and appoint a chief, the
chief will charge for the erecting.
b、Personnel:
Welder 2 :should be skilled in electric and gas welding and familiar
with worksite installation.
Electrician 1-2:should be capable in cable wiring.
Mechanic 4:should be familiar with worksite mechanic work.

b、Power supply
The jobsite must keep normal power supply, and need a generator if the electric
network is abnormal. The capacity of the generator is as follow:
During erecting: not less than 20Kw, AC380±10V, 50±1 Hz
In normal commission: not less than 100Kw, AC380~420V, 50±1Hz
1.2.3、Pertained device and material
Power supply cable (between the power supply transmitter or generator to the
control room
of the mixing plant), the section of the copper wire is 75mm2, the length of the cable
depend on the jobsite. A 50 m3 water pool (can replace by a 15 m3 water tank if the
water can be supply continually), lubricant for reducer of the mixing plant, grease and
guns according to the needing.
1.3、Install technical condition
The install of the plant should meet the national specification of <<Concrete
mixer>>GB/T9142-2000, <<Test method for concrete mixer >>GB/T4477-1995.
<<Corrugated sidewall conveyor technical conditions>> JT/T323-1997.
The install personnel must be the professional people, and the chief should
arrange all the needed things in the jobsite, for the install is very important for later
commission.
There is an electric grounding network (erect the network during erecting the
foundation), the network should be reliability, the grounding resistance less than 4Ω,
and a lightning conduction needed if necessary, send all install tools to the jobsite in
the first day of the erecting, the needed technicians and labors in the jobsite depend
on condition after complete the mechanical mounting, the mechanical mounting can
start after 15 days passed of the completing of the fundament.
For future use, the people for the operating and maintenance must attend the install

and test of the plant.

Cautions during installing:
a). The welding point of the grounding wire should be far from the mounted sensor,
and short connecting the sensor, prevent the welding electric current from damaging
the sensor.
b). When welding operate upon the belt conveyer, preventing the belt from burning.

compressor, start the air compressor, adjust the valve, keep the pressure between
0.4~0.8 Mp in the air pipes, no leakage in the air system in 15 minutes, push the
related valve, check the action of the cylinders, they should be move easily and
correctly.c、Aggregate weighing system
Check if the weighing bins hanging well.
Check if all discharge gates are flexible and tighten when closing.
Screw conveyer
Start the motor, check if there is any abnormal noisy, watch if the rotation
direction is correct, if not, adjust it.
d、Cement, fly ash weighing bin
Check if the install is correct.
Check if the discharge gates are flexible and tighten when closing.
e、Mixer
Check all the bolts, especially the bolts on the paddle and on the liner, all bolts should
be tightness. Check the clearances between the paddles and the liners, all clearances
should be meet the technical requirement.
All lubricate oil and grease should be enough and in good condition, adding or
changing if necessary.
Check the liquid pressure system, the discharge gates should be in close position.
Manual start the two motor, watch if the right side shaft of the mixer rotating in
clockwise check if the paddles will hit the liners, if there is any abnormal material in the
tube, if the rotating direction of the shaft is wrong, adjust it.
Starting the mixer, running over an hour, check if there is any nosy, and if the
discharge gates work well.
f、Water supply system and admixture system
Manual start the pump motor, check if the motor rotating in the right direction, if the
pump rotating smooth, and if the water supply in normal condition.

gates should be free from mud leakage. The running of the mechanical system should
be smooth and free from abnormal nosy, no heating on the bearing, and discharge
fresh concrete completely, and discharge in short time.
b) The productivity of the mixing plant
Feeding material according to the recipe of the concrete, continuous mixing 10 hours,
check the quality of the concrete, calculate the output.
4.2、Weighing accurate of the material
Check the dosage precise when testing the speed of the mixer. Fetch full and
then a half of the rated weight of the aggregate, the cement, the water and admixture
(in advance using standard scales weighing) to weigh, the value should be in the
tolerance of the rated range.

it can meet the precise of the idle state weighing.
5.3、Test commission with load
5.3.1 Manual starting with load after test commission without load.
a) Feed full of aggregate to the aggregate bin by a loader.
b) Manual dosage 50% of the rated recipe, see if it can meet the value.
c) Complete the feeding, mixing, and discharging after dosage.
d) Manual test commission with load at least three times.
5.3.2 Auto test commission with load after manual test with load.
Preset the dosage and use the 50% of the set value, carry out the process of auto
dosage, loading, mixing, discharging, etc, check if the actual dosage can meet the set
value.
And calculate if the speed is enough for the producing.
The life of the machine is related with the daily maintenance, please pay attention to
the following:
a) Add grease or oil in the needed places in periods, and make sure reducers have
enough lubricate oil.
b) Check all bolts, if loose, tighten them, especially the bolts on the supporter of the
mixing bin, paddlers and liners.
c) Adjust the gap between paddles and liners to 3-5mm after wear out.
d) Check electric parts, such as limit switch, probe of the contactor etc. Change the
failure units if necessary. Keep the electric cabinet dry and be sure safety for the wire
connection.
e) Check if the position of the belt is not right, if there is any problem, running without
load and adjust them.
f) Empty where storing water in the water supply system after every shift work in
freezing season.
1.1、On shift time, do as follow
(1) Before start on, users must do as follow:
a) Check if all aggregate bins are full, or inform the driver to fill them with loader.
b) Make sure there is enough material in cement silo, adding cement intime.
c) Check the water level of water tank; add water to the upper limit.

d) Check the air pipeline, if there is any air leakage or water leakage, replace with
new one. If there is any aging of the soften pipe (rubber or plastic), replace with new
one.
e) Check the action position of the pneumatic or motorized butterfly valve, if the valve
is not close well, adjust it till it in the right position.
f) Check if the lubricant point of discharge gate opening mechanism added with
grease.
g) Check if the oil in the reducer is enough; add oil according the nameplate on the
gearbox. The volume of the oil will affect the reducer.
h) Check if the lubricant point on the screw conveyer added with grease
i) Check if the tighten of the belts conveyer is proper, and if the position is right, if
there is any problem, running without load and adjust them. Close the aggregate
discharge gate when do above adjust.
j) Check if the carrying roller of the belt is rotating flexible, if not, repair it by cleaning
or change the bearing.
k) Check the water accumulating in the filter of the air unit, drain the water if too
much, check if the oil in the oil fogger is enough, if not, fill it, or the air system will be
malfunction.
l) Check if all the joints of the rubber for the weighs are connect well, if there is any
loose on the joint, large quantity of cement will come out and cause heavy pollution.
m) Check all parts of the mixer depend on << The manual of the JS mixer>>: see if all
lubricate points are fill with lubricant, if the oil in the oil pump is run out, if the lubricate
system is right, check if the liners and paddles are in good connecting. Adjust the
clearance between the paddlers and the liners to 3~5mm if the clearance is too big,
tighten the bolts if loose, change the liners and the paddlers if they damaged or wear
to half of the initial size.
(2) When finish, users must do as follow:
a) Cleaning the mixer with water, remove the block if there is any (especially
between the discharge gates and the tube of the mixer, between the paddlers and the
liners), see if there is any block between the cover of the mixer and the mouth of the
cement weigher, and the mouth of the filter.
b) Clean all parts of the plant.
c) Add lubricant in all rotating lubricate point.
d) Clean the discharge bin.

e) Adding grease to all air cylinders, add grease to all rotating parts of the discharge
gates under the bins.
f) Air out the pneumatic system, all cylinders and valves are in close state.
g) Switch off all the powers of the system.
1.2、Maintenance in monthly and in three months period.
Except the items listing above in the daily maintenance, pay attention to the wear
and tear of the parts:
a) Check the wear and tear of the chain wheel drive system and the gear drive sets,
check the tight of the chain, if the chain is too loose, tighten it, if the teeth of the chain
wheel wear to sharp, change it.
b) Check the wear and tear of the liners and paddlers, change them in time when
they damaged or wear to half of the initial size, adjust the clearance between the
paddlers and the liners to 3~5mm if the clearance is too big.
c) Change the lubricate oil in the reducer, add oil depend on the manufacture factory
requirement.
d) Check the wear and tear of the belts (generally, the belts can work over 12
months), change the belts when the belts wear and tear too much, the lengths of the
belts see detail on the list of the spare parts.
e) Check the gates under the bottom of the bins, if the gates wear too much, such as
holes, leakage, change a new one, weld on the jobsite.
f) Dismount all kinds of butterfly valves on the feed pipeline for the cement and
admixture, cleaning them and check if the rubber plates are damaged.

(1) If the belt is too loose, adjust the tighten mechanism in the end, turn the nut in
clockwise with a wrench, please turn the two nuts same, prevent the belt from trouble.
(2) If the support roller doesn’t rotate or not flexible, dismount it and clean it or
change the bearing. If the belt is tight, loose the belt first, then dismounting the roller.
(3)If you need to eliminate leakage of the electric drum or replace it, first of all
loosen belt and then remove it. Maintenance should be carried out in accordance with
content of the drum usage manual.
(4)If you need to replace gear grease within the electric drum, first of all rotate the
drum so that its grease filling hole turns downward, clear off grease within it, rotate it
again so that its grease filling hole turns upward and then fill it with grease. For grease
type and quantity refer to content of the drum usage manual.
(5)When change the belt in the dosage system, loose the belt by turning the tighten
nuts, then dismount the rollers and the support rods, then take out the belt, put in the
new belt on the position of the belt, mount the roller and support rods, tighten them,
adjust the tighten nuts, make the belt in good condition, or glue the belt in jobsite.
(6) If you need to replace the trough belt of the belt conveyor, first of all move the belt
framework from its supporting and then lift the belt conveyor with crane to side. The
following procedures go similar to that with replacement of distribution belt conveyor’s
belt. For the belt’s specification refer to the wearable parts list.
c、Weigh unit
(1) Change the sensors. In case the sensors of the aggregate weigher, cement
weigher, or the water weigher damaged and need change, use a chain block pull the
weighing bin first prevent the other sensors from damage. Dismount the weighing bin
of the admixture and change the damaged sensor directly.
(2)Cleaning the place of the butterfly valve of the cement weigher. There are some
blocks made near cement butterfly valve and the upper mouth and the lower mouth in
the connection place, so the user must clean the place to prevent the valve from
malfunction, such as can’t open or can’t close tight, and cause grout leakage or wrong
weighing. Disconnect the short connect pipe between the lower of the butterfly and
the main cover, then loose the bolts of the flange on the butterfly, dismount the
butterfly. Turn the valve to the open position, clean the inner face with wood bar or
some soft bar, checking if the valve plate was damaged. Clean and remove the
cement and block stick in the weighing bin. Remount the valve, and make sure the
seal is good.

(3) Additive scale leakage. After exploitation for some time the rubber ball valve
may be deformed due to pressure, which leads to short cylinder motion distance. In
this case adjust cylinder rod’s length to create reasonable pressure. If the rubber
valve is seriously deformed or damaged, remove flange at bottom, get it out , replace
it and restore and at last adjust its pressing force.
d、Screw conveyer
If there is noisy come out from the tube when the screw conveyer working, the
possible reasons are the joints of the screw or inner leafs of the screw loosing. In this
case, dismounting the butterfly valve first, then disconnecting the ends flange, watch
cover, taking out the shaft and check it. Clean the inner of the tube.
If the screw conveyer stuck, turn reverse the motor and then turn positive the motor
several times, the stuck may solved. If can’t, repeat the first step, remove the
abnormal material in the tube.
e、Mixer
Shut down the power and hang a caution note before repair the mixer, make
sure the personal in safety place!!!
(1) Change the mixing paddlers and the liners. Open the repair door of the mixer and
support it with a bar, prepare the light, then replace the paddlers and liners. If some
paddlers and liners can’t be replaced, manual starting the mixer after the person out,
and get a convenient position for replacing.
(2) Shaft end seal repair. When there is obviously oil leakage and can’t prevent the
grout to the seal, repair and change the seal ring in time.
(3)Sprockets transmission mechanism and synchronization gears repair. If it’s
necessary to replace gears, at first remove its external cover, outside block and then
move the gears outward. It goes similar with sprockets. Pay attention to tension of
chain when restore it. Sprockets should be set symmetrical and keep the chain stable
in its position to prevent its disconnection.
(4)Discharge gate repair. When there is grout leakage because of the gate not close
tight, and after clean the concrete remained in the bin and after adjust the clearance,
the gate can’t seal, take out the gate and replace it. Dismount the arm connecting with
the oil cylinder first, then loose the bolts between the gate and the mixing tube, then
get the gate out.
(5)Clean the cement block stick near the mouth under the cover of the mixer. After a
long period of use, there will be some stick block near the import port, which will affect

the normal transmit. Remove the block in the tube, entering into the mixer lile the (1).
f、Pneumatic system
1.Fault of pressured air resource
Common faults related to pressured air resource are as follows: fault of
compressor, fault of relief valve, fault of pipeline and fault of complex for treatment
of pressured air.
(1) Fault of compressor consists of damage of check valve, wearing of
piston ring, damage of inlet valve and blockage of air filter. In order to
determine if the check valve is damaged, After more than ten seconds
when the compressor automatically stops, switch off power supply and
manually turn the big rubber wheel. If it’s easy to turn it, it means that
the check valve is in good pieces. In otherwise, it’s damaged. Moreover
it’s also possible to judge state of the check valve by observing air
outlet of automatic air pressure switch. Generally the compressor
ceases to release air after about 10 seconds when it stops. If air
continues to release until the compressor is restarted, it means the
check valve is damaged and should be replaced immediately.
When pressure buildup progresses slowly and there is oil intermingle at
the same time, it means the piston ring is seriously worn and it should be
replaced immediately. If air inlet valve is damaged or air filter is blocked,
pressure buildup is also impeded (but without oil intermingle). When check
it, put your palm over air inlet of the air filter, if there is hot gas pressing
outside, it means the air inlet valve is damaged and it should be replaced.
If there is weak suction it means that the air filter is polluted, you should
clean or replace it.
(2) Fault of relief valve consists of impossibility to adjust to high pressure
or slowness of pressure buildup.
Failure to adjust to high pressure normally is caused by crack of pressure
adjusting spring or membrane and it should be replaced. Slowness of
pressure buildup normally is caused by blockage of filter net and thus it’s
required to remove and clean it.
(3) Fault of pipeline consists of leakage of connector of pipeline, crack of
soft pipe and condensation of water.
If connector of pipeline leaks or soft pipe cracks it’s possible to determine
leakage point, judging by sound. You should replace or repair it
immediately. If there is water accumulated inside the pipeline it’s required
to get rid of it immediately. Especially during frost season, because the
water the accumulates inside the pipeline may freeze and block it.
(4) Fault of complex for treatment of pressured air(Triple) consists of fault
of oil and water separator, fault of pressure adjusting valve and fault of
oil sprayer.
Under fault of oil and water separator fall blockage or damage of filter core,
insensibility of moving components of dirt release valve. So it’s required to
carry out frequent cleaning of the filter core, remove oil dust and other
foreign articles inside the dirt release device.
For pressure adjusting valve part refer to the” (2)Fault of relief valve”.
Under fault of oil sprayer fall faults: absence of oil dripping, water
accumulated in the bottom of the oil cup or damage of the seal ring of the

oil cup. When there is not oil dripping, check if there is less air from the air
inlet than required to perform oil atomization or there is any air leakage, or
oil volume adjusting pin valve is blocked or not. If there is any water
accumulated in the bottom of the oil cup, it’s required to get rid of it
immediately. If sealing ring is damaged it’s required to replace it.
2.Fault of pneumatic executors(cylinder):
Due to incorrect installation or long term exploitation a lot of faults such
as internal or external leakage, insufficient output power, unstable
action, poor buffering effect and damage or piston rod or cylinder cover
may happen.
(1). Internal or external leakage of cylinder is normally caused by deviance of
center of piston rod, insufficient supply of lubricant, wearing or damage of
sealing ring, creeping of foreign articles and crack of piston rod. So, when it
happens, immediately adjust piston rod’s center to ensure that the piston rod is
kept coaxial to the cylinder body. It’s required to check and ensure that the oil
sprayer works reliably to ensure excellent lubrication. If the sealing ring is
damaged or worn, it’s required to replace it immediately; If there is any foreign
article inside the cylinder remove it immediately. If the piston rod is decorated
with crack, replace it immediately.
(2).Insufficient output power or unstable action of the cylinder is normally due to
blockage of piston or piston rod, poor lubrication, insufficient air supply or
presence of condensed water of other foreign article inside the cylinder.
Under these cases it’s required to adjust the piston rod’ center, to check if oil
sprayer works properly, air pipeline is blocked or not. If there is nay condensed
water or crept foreign article you should remove it immediately.
(3).Poor buffering effect of the cylinder is normally caused by wearing of seal ring
or damage of adjustment screw. Under these cases it’s required to replace the
seal ring and adjustment screw.
(4).Damage of piston rod and cover of the cylinder is normally caused by deviance
of its center or failure of buffering mechanism. Under these cases it’s required
to adjustment piston rod’s center and replace sealing ring for buffering or
adjustment screw.
1. Fault of reverse valve
Fault of reserve valve may consist of following appearances: failure or
slowness of the reverse valve to reverse direction, leakage of air and
fault of pilot solenoid valve.
(1).Failure or slowness of the reverse valve to reverse direction is normally
caused by poor lubrication, blockage or damage of spring, blockage of
moving components by oil dust or foreign articles. Under these cases it’s
firstly required to check if oil sprayer works properly, if oil viscosity is
suitable. In case of necessity it’s required to replace lubricants, clean
moving components of the reverse valve or replace spring and the reverse
valve.
(2).After long time exploitation sealing ring, valve rod and valve seat of the
reserve valve may be damaged, which leads to air leakage, slow reaction
or failure to reverse direction.So, it’s required to replace seal ring, valve
rod and valve seat or the whole reverse valve.
(3).If air input or output hole of the pilot solenoid valve is blocked by oil dust, or

poorly sealed, or moving iron core is blocked, or electric circuit is flawed,
failure to reverse direction may arise. In case of first three cases it’s
required to clean the pilot solenoid valve and get it rid of dust sticking to its
iron core. The circuit fault is normally divided into two categories: control
circuit fault and coil fault. Prior to carrying out control circuit fault check,
turn manual button of the reverse valve several times to check if the
reverse valve could function under rated air pressure, if it reverses
direction as expected then the fault should lie in the control circuit.
Measure with meters to check if electricity meets requirements in terms of
voltage. If voltage is too low, it’s required to check power supply and
related proximity switches. If the reverse valve fails to change direction
under rated voltage it’s required to check if contactor of the solenoid is
loosened or poorly connected. The method is that: pull out the plug,
measure resistance value of the coil(normally it should fall in range from
hundreds to thousands), it measured result is too big or too small, it means
that the coil is damaged and should be replaced.
2. Fault of pneumatic accessories:
Fault of pneumatic accessories consists of: fault of oil sprayer, fault of dirt
automatic release device and silencer.
(1).Under fault of oil sprayer fall: oil pipeline blockage due to small adjustment
capacity of the adjusting pin, air leakage causing failure of oil atomization. In
these cases it’s required to eliminate any blockage or leakage, adjust volume
of dripping oil so that it reaches level of about drops/minute. Under normal
exploitation oil cup should be kept in the range of upper and lower limits. It’s
also required to remove the water accumulated in the bottom of the oil cup in
time.
(2).Oil dust and water inside the automatic dirt release device may fail to get rid of
them automatically, especially where temperature falls quite low during winter.
Under such case it’s required to remove and clean it.
(3).If silencer of the reverse valve is polluted or blocked, its sensibility and time
required to realized direction change may be effected. So it’s desirable to
clean the silencer frequently.
3. Mechanical fault:
Following mechanical faults are common: gate shaft powered by cylinder is
blocked; butterfly valve powered by geared cylinder is blocked, which results in
failure or poor closing and opening. Normally such phenomenon happens with
discharge port of cement dosage hopper, so it’s required to frequently get rid of
cements sticking to the internal walls of the butterfly valve.
