At first, I would like to pay deepest gratitude and respect to my teacher and supervisor
Mr. Abdul Hamid Chowdhury and Mr. Shanur Azad Chowdhury, Internship
Coordinator of BBA Program for advice, cordial guidance and valuable suggestion in
preparing the internship report.
During my internship in the Kenpark Bangladesh (PVT) Ltd.. I was really pleased to
have a nice work environment, which could be an example of idle group work. I got the
opportunity to take my lesson without any hesitation due to their cordial behavior that
helps me to observe meticulously the industrial activities.
Pacific Jeans Limited, a company of Pacific Jeans Group (based in CEPZ) started its
operation as a RMG unit in Chittagong Export Processing Zone since 1st December,
1994 with a view to supporting to the extended business of Pacific Corporation. It has
five pc roduction floors comprising 24 sewing lines. Globally reputed Brand Company
like Gap, H & M, C & A, Tom tailor, Charse Vogle and J.C Penney entrusted this
company for manufacturing their products. Pacific Jeans Limited has its mark in the
ready-made garments manufacturing industry in Bangladesh being the pioneer and one
of the largest factories in country.
The main objective of this report is recruitment and selection system of Kenpark
Bangladesh (PVT) Ltd.. Kenpark Bangladesh (PVT) Ltd. has a systematic recruitment
and selection process for helper to junior management and senior management. Some
information has been collected from questionnaire and face-to-face conversation with
workers, HR executive, Compliance Officer and act as HR department. There is a lot of
scope and opportunity to collect data but some limitation like lack of related data and job
pressures of the employees.
In this report, I tried to identify the whole recruitment and selection process of Kenpark
Bangladesh (PVT) Ltd.. Abreast I tried to find out their problems like as lengthy process,
recruit more outsider, political pressure, little bit high cost and recommendations like as
Strategic planning, Checking Policy, Vacancy Fill up from insider, arrange Job fair,
Avoid Political Pressure Etc.
By reflecting their picture of the company, they can abolish their problem by taking
proper and meaningful steps and make their recruitment and selection process more
effective.
