Ramesh Bastola recently purchased a Redmi phone from Pascal mobile service centre on an installment plan with a $49 monthly fee. However, for two weeks after purchase incoming calls were being routed to an inactive number. It then took the company nearly two more weeks to fix the issue. As Mr. Bastola paid for service he did not receive, he is requesting an adjustment of his first installment amount to his account by September 25, 2020 due to the problems caused by the malfunctioning service.

You thought it was strange that no one called you on your new mobile phone, even though
you had given your family members, friends, and boss your new number. Two weeks after
getting the new phone and agreeing to a $49 monthly fee, you called the service provider,
Instant Call, just to see if everything was working. Sure enough, the technician discovered
that your incoming calls were being routed to an inactive number. You’re glad she found
the problem, but then it took the company nearly two more weeks to fix it. When you called
to complain about paying for service you didn’t receive, the customer service agent
suggests you send an email to Judy Hinkley at the company’s regional business office to
request an adjustment.

Your Task: Decide how much of an adjustment you think you deserve under the
circumstances and then send an email message to Hinkley to request the adjustment to
your account. Write a summary of events in chronological order, supplying exact dates for
maximum effectiveness. Make up any information you need, such as problems that the
malfunctioning service caused at home or at work.

Hope this email finds you in good healths.

Let me introduce myself .My name is Ramesh Bastola recently I purchased a cell phone of Redmi
from the nearest shop named Pascal mobile service centre which is one of the whole seller of
Redmi phone in Pokhara valley.

Two week ago,I purchased latest brand of Redmi phone named promax 9 on the installment basis
where they charged me $49 as a monthly fee. But it was strange I can’t get any call from my family
members, friends as well as from the boss too. After that I contact the technician he discovered that
incoming calls were being routed to in an inactive number and it take nearly two more weeks to fix
it. I already complained at customer service centre about the problem.

I am the regular customer of Redmi brand it’s my 3rd cell phone of Redmi. As you know I Purchased
the cell phone on installment basis and two weeks have gone without proper used and more than
two weeks to fix it so without used I need to pay for the first installment. So I humbly request to you
to please adjusted my one installment charges from the part of the company if possible because due
to the mistake made at the time of manufacturing I bear a lot of loses regarding in the terms of
money and services .So, I requested you to adjustment my first installment amount in my account
till 25th September 2020.I can reached via email at the address above or by phone at
