Description

The scribing tool is a circular cutter used for Caution:

longitudinal scoring and slitting of paper, film The scribing tool can only be used for
and foil webs. For our machines, the main scribing from below
application is for longitudinal scoring of
adhesive labels and self-adhesive base
material.

For perforating, different cutters must be

fitted.

Each cutter can be individually adjusted for

depth of cut. Each cutter is also infinitely
adjustable in the cross web direction.
The cutter set can be withdrawn from the
hardened anvil roller to enable the web to
be inserted or to set the tool out of action.
Individual cutters which are not in use are
made inoperative via the cutting depth
adjustment.

The scribing tool is designed as an

attachment to die-cutting station BG 06 and
can be fitted at the outlet or inlet side after
being appropriately prepared.

and responsibility of staff.

Caution:

• There is a risk of cutting injury from

the very sharp circular and perforating
cutters when inserting the web and
during cleaning operations.
• During normal operation, all guards
must be fitted.
