Guidelines/Protocol For Computer Based Hourly Test-1
Candidates are hereby advised to meticulously follow the Instructions for Computer-Based
Hourly test. Please read all the instructions carefully before starting your test.
1. Login Details like username and password for each test will be unique and will be
available in “MYDATESHEET TAB” on UIMS at least 24 hours before the test.
2. Students are advised to keep checking the UIMS for all updates.

HANDY AS YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOW ANY OF THESE ALONG WITH YOUR
FACE TO THE SYSTEM CAMERA AT THE START OF THE TEST. (Both should be
clearly visible)
Do not copy paste the Username and Password. Always type in.
You will be automatically prompted to allow your Camera to be enabled,
Please ACCEPT the request. This will prompt a message ‘You are Under Surveillance'.
Your camera is now enabled.
Fill the registration form.
Click on Start Test and keep a note of your EXAM ID as mentioned on the top.
To answer a question, click on Confirm and then Next to submit your answer.
Do not click on Module Exit or Test Exit. Once test submitted will not be allowed to
resume.
Complete the test in one go, no breaks allowed in-between.
There is no negative marking.
Maximum Time duration for the test will be 1 hour only.
Total questions in the test will be 40 each question having different weightages. (Annexure -1
may be referred for the format of the test)
This is a timed test; it is essential to keep track of time while answering the questions.
No candidate will be allowed to login into the test after 20 minutes of the start of test
timing in any case and the candidate will be marked absent.
Candidates appearing for the test should not be submit the test before half time
5. To Familiarize the students with the online Proctored testing platform a demo test has
been scheduled on 15th Sept, 2020 from 4 PM to 5 PM (Above said procedure will be
followed for the test, students are advised to make full use of the opportunity)

13. Candidates are advised not to indulge in any unwanted activity during the conduct of examination,
it may lead to UMC case, If any other candidate is found appearing for the test the case will be
of unfair means. In this case UMC Committee will be liable to take final decision as per
University rules.
Note: Ensure that while you open the online examination link no other tab/window/link be
opened simultaneously.
