IMSATRUCTION: On the space below, paste a magazine or newspaper cutout of any


photograph that depicts an issue or problem in science and technology. Then,
answer the question that follow

1. What is the issue or problem depicted in the photograph?


=>>This is a photo if a electrical powerplant emitting smoke, we know that
powerplant makes our lives easier and convenient, it also makes our environment
and society contaminated without proper control and management.

2. How does this particular issue or problem impact the well being of humans today?
=>>For now it surely affects the well being of human positively but not for too long.
Because these powerplants we have, have been running continuously for decades
and it already contributed contaminants/ pollution enough to affect our climate and
environment.

3. Why is it important for people to study and learn about STS as an academic field,
Especially in addressing the issue or problem depicted in the photograph?
=>>Studying STS as an academic field will help every individual, specially the youth to
become more educated and aware about the issues that our society is facing and to
take part of it by seeking for decisive solution. Especially about the contaminants
that large companies contributes to the environment and society.
