TRACTIVE EFFORT METER NOT RESPONDING

1 Check for AG field/ feedback breaker If tripped, RESET and work further.

2 Check for position of isolation switch Check for position of isolation switch

3 Check for position of GF switch. Put in ON Position (UP)

4 Check for AG circuit breaker in ECC2 If tripped RESET and work further.

6 Check Engine Run Switch position Switch on the engine run switch (It

8 Check for crew message Act according to

9 Check PCS knocked out Recover PCS as per the
message displayed in EM 2000
10 Check for governor AMPHENOL plug Tighten the AMPHENOL plug
tightness

11 Check for throttle position in EM 2000 If TH position is not in actual throttle


display position, change the control stand and
work further.

12 Check couplers 543A. B & C tightness Tighten the couplers in control


stand.

13 Check for DIO card failure (there will be Swap DIO cards 1 & 3 or 2 & 3. If the
no indication In EM 2000) problem sets right work further;
else seek advice from the shed.

14 Check for locked Axle message in EM 2000 Ensure free movement of that
display particular axle physically. If the wheel
is rotating freely, disable the speed
sensor through EM 2000 and work
further.

15 Check for Check AG drive shaft is intact. If shaft is


MESSAGE “NO COMPANION ALTERNATOR broken, Inform Shed. DVR may be
OUTPUT-NO AUXILIARY GENERATOR defective, nothing can be done and ask
OUTPUT" for relief locomotive & INFORM SHED.

16 Check for reverser Input in power data in This will be shown "PROP" in If
data meters. OPMODE does not show PROP,
change control stand
