Skill Development Program

India Community Protection Ambassador (ICPA) Skill Development Program is India’s first Learning
based Social Platform to fight Corona Virus (COVID-19). It focuses on breaking the chain of Covid-19
infection through tangible precautionary actions covering the transmission of infection & chain of
infectious diseases. To stop the Covid-19 pandemic, collective empowerment and participation in
breaking the chain of infection through preventive actions is the key.

ICPA Skill Development Program, which is completely free of cost, caters the rapid training on key
aspects of Covid-19 infection & protection to empower individual in their community based
advocacy in preventing & control the spread of infection. It compliments them in their community
based advocacy.

ICPA program has been developed under

ICPA program has 20 key elements covering various topics including spread of covid-19 and respiratory
infection, element of the chain of infection transmission, how to break the chain of active
transmission, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for COVID-19 followed by Pledge &
Certification.

It has a very simple and intuitive interface which is designed keeping in mind the large number of
non-medical and tech savvy
segment. It has been developed
tailoring it to general audience
simplifying the language and
making the interface very simple.
ICPA provides people with
certificate recognised by CPIL
foundation, OSH Academy and
ConnectOSH.

The idea for ICPA is to cut the clutter

and to simplify the necessary
knowledge required to tackle Covid-
19 pandemic and deliver it in
interactive way which is interesting
and gamified. ICPA wants to eradicate the wastage of efforts and time required to search for relevant
and trustworthy information needed on Covid-19 pandemic in a single program. The program is also
having motivators like certification and recognition at the end of the program. By training the masses
in the required skills and motivating them to follow the guidelines suggested by WHO and ICMR for
breaking the chain, ICPA aims in becoming a democratized source of free information

ICPA relies on network effect and contribution of all the responsible members of the society to
motivate their peers in learning and becoming an Indian Community Protection Ambassador. The
awareness drive which ConnectOSH aims to conduct using ICPA helps in democratizing the relevant
information to defeat the spread of infection. ConnectOSH is working towards breaking the chain and
