RATIONALE:

RA 9155 clearly defines shared governance as the management model in the


delivery of quality basic education. It specifies the functional areas to be shared by
the various level of management as well as their differentiated roles. The evolving
roles of the schools are consistent with the national educational policies, plans and
standards.

The SMEA tool contains all the data requirements relative to the school
implementation of mandated processes and school-baased initiated interventions for
contionous improvement. This serves as the data collection tool to the quarterly
progress monitoring and evaluation and a facility to establish school data bank.

The Sta. Elena teaching force will be conducting an In-Service Training for
SMEA in order to provide efficient and effective fulfillment of the division mandate.

EVALUATION AND MONITORING

In order to attain efficiency and effectiveness of this in-service-training on School


Monitoring, Evaluation and Adjustment (SMEA), the resource speakers, school
head , teachers shall:

1. ensure active participation of all participants


2. monitor progress and completion of all workshop outputs for every
discussion;
3. conduct self-assessment and feedback forms from the participants
