Project Responsibilities:

QC Inspector Instrumentation:
 Reporting to E & I QC Supervisor on Daily basis.
 In coordination with Construction team, Raising RFQ through Quality Management System for day to
day activities.
 Preparing and arranging the documents namely Inspection Checklist, Test Reports, Approved
Document, Drawings, etc. according to the Inspection test plan prior inspection
(SATIP,SAIC,SATR,NMR,etc. as per Saudi Aramco standards)
 To inspect all materials and activities are in accordance with Project/Clients standard/Procedures, QC
procedure, MS( Method Statement) and Test Inspection Plan. (SAES,SAMSS as per Saudi Aramco
Standards)
 Performing Inspection of Instrument Material on arrival to site warehouse.
 Performing Inspection of following activities
 Loop Folder preparation inspection and approval of loop folders as per package
 Installation of Marshalling Cabinet, system cabinets and consoles at Control Room
 Installation of cable Ladder/ Tray supports, cable Ladder/trays and conduits.
 Cable trench/duct bank for underground cables
 Preparation of junction box supports and Installation of Junction boxes supports, Installation of
Junction boxes
 Preparation of Field instrument supports and Installation of Field instrument supports,
Installation of Filed Instruments on site. Installing Instrument Tubing for Field instruments
 Cable routing, Cable pulling / laying and Cable dressing.
 Cable Glanding, dressing and termination between marshalling panel to junction boxes and
between junction box to Individual Instruments
 Cable testing (Continuity Test and Megger Testing).
 Calibration of Field Instruments (Bench calibration or Site Calibration).
 Instrument Loop Testing.
 Functional Testing of Field Instruments.

 In case of nonconformance, shall raise NCR and reschedule the inspection after clearance of the non-
conformity.
 Once the RFI have been approved and Closed by PID, submission of Closed/Approved RFI Documents
to E & I QC Supervisor.

Instrumentation Engineer – Construction

 Reporting to Instrument Manager and Planning Team on Daily basis
 Review Design/IFC drawings,
 Estimate and Raise Material Request for Consumables, Materials and Subcontractor
Services
 Review technical Submittal from vendors
 Submit technical submittal and get approval from Client Instrument Design consultants
 Inspect the arrived materials on the arrival to our warehouse for matching technical
specification before raising Request for inspection to the QC Inspector..
 Raising work permit according to the daily activities at the site.
 Conduction of Safety Tool Box Meeting
 Coordinated for material delivery at site on a daily basis.
 Direct supervision of all the works related to Instrumentation so that the works are completed as per
schedule and as per required Quality in a safe manner.
 Lead/Execute/Supervision of following activities as required
 Installation of Marshalling Cabinet, system cabinets and consoles at Control Room
 Installation of cable Ladder/ Tray supports, cable Ladder/trays and conduits.

 Coordination with QC department to arrange witness, to ensure that all activities are carried out as per
drawings and specification. Clearance of punch list provided by the QA/QC Inspector
 Ensure that Planning Engineers target plans are achieved on a weekly basis

Instrumentation Engineer – Pre commissioning and Commissioning Engineer

 Reporting to Instument Manager and Planning Team on Daily basis

 Preparation of Loop Folders
 Verification of the installed location, installed instrument specification and process connections are as
per loop folder
 Energization of Instruments
 Trouble shooting during Instrument Startup i.e. Modification of Loops and wiring according to vendor
instrument connection diagram if necessary, looking for incomplete loops and closing the loops etc.
 Updating the instrument setting according to the instrument data sheets.
 Field Calibration for filed instruments
 Instrument Loop Testing
 Functional Testing of Field Instruments.
 Commissioning Support for Commissioning Team during Plant Startup and during Performance testing
of the plant.

Projects Engineer – Instrumentation

At Industrial Project Management Solutions, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

I was responsible for the sales of products and services related to Instrumentation, Automation, Fire
Alarm System, Building Management System and Cathodic Protection.

Also capable of handling Fibre Optic, Electrical MV Cable splicing -Testing Projects and any
materials supply.

As a Project Engineer responsibilities are generating sales inquiry, conversion of the sales inquiry in
to Order and successful execution of Project and Material supplies as per the client’s requirement.
Roles include promoting our services and products to the clients, reviewing Project scope,
Engineering, Estimating, and Tendering Techno Commercial Proposal and on award of the project
successful execution of the project.

Other Responsibility at Project site includes Review Design/IFC drawings, Estimate and Raise
Material Request for Consumables, Materials and Subcontractor Services, Approve technical
Submittal from vendors, Inspect the arrived materials on the arrival for matching technical
specification before raising Request for inspection to the QC inspector. Issue of material/ Tools to
the instrument Foreman, Direct supervision of all the works related to Instrumentation so that the
works are completed as per schedule and as per required Quality in a safe manner, Preparation and
submission of As-build drawings and Site test Reports and Preparing the Invoice documents after
completion of the work and getting approval from Manager and Submission of the same to the
project coordinator for further invoicing process.
