The following data sheet details the departmental salaries during week 1

Exercise objective
To complete the two tables using the correct Excel methodology.

The table should be completed using the following Excel facilities.

The use of formulas.


Marking a constant cell and using a this constant within a formula.
Using the copy and drag facilities.
Using a function facility from the tool bar.

Note formulas used.

Gross pay = Hours worked times Hourly rate


Tax = Gross pay times tax rate
Net pay = Gross pay minus Tax.
