Okta Verify Enrollment User Guide

Okta Verify is a mobile application that you will use to provide extra verification when signing into FedEx applications.
Before proceeding with the enrollment steps below, install Okta Verify on your mobile device.

iOS Users: Android Users:


1. Go to the App Store 1. Go to the Google Play Store
2. Search for Okta Verify 2. Search for Okta Verify
3. Select Get 3. Select Install

There are two options available for enrolling with the Okta Verify service. If you have access to a desktop or laptop
computer along with your mobile device - proceed with Option A. If you only have access to your mobile device –
proceed with Option B.

Okta Verify enrollment Option A.

1. Open a web browser on your desktop or laptop computer (i.e. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari) and go to
https://purpleid.okta.com.
2. Login with your FedEx ID and Enterprise password.

3. If this is your first time logging in, you will be prompted to select a personal Security image.
4. Click on the “Enroll/Test Multi-factor Authentication” icon on your dashboard and you will be prompted to setup
Okta Verify. NOTE: If you are signing in from a non-FedEx network, you will be prompted to setup Okta Verify
immediately upon sign in.

Click “Configure factor” Click on your mobile device type


and click “Next”.

5. Open the Okta Verify app on your mobile device and follow the steps below. Note: the screenshots below are
for iOS but the steps for Android will be similar.

Tap “Add Account” Tap “Continue”

6. You have now completed Okta Verify enrollment.


7. You can test Okta Verify by logging into https://purpleid.okta.com and clicking the “Enroll/Test Multi-factor
Authentication” icon on your dashboard.

Click “Send Push” to send a push notification sent to your mobile device. Tap “Approve” in the Okta Verify
mobile app to complete the sign in. Optionally, you can tap “Or enter code” and enter the one-time password
displayed in the Okta Verify app.

Okta Verify enrollment Option B.

1. Open a web browser on your mobile device (i.e. Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and go to https://purpleid.okta.com.
2. Login with your FedEx ID and Enterprise password.

3. If this is your first time logging in, you will be prompted to select a personal Security image.
NOTE: If you are signing in from a non-FedEx network, you will be prompted to setup Okta Verify immediately
upon sign in.

Tap “Setup” Tap your mobile device type

Tap “Next” Tap “Can’t Scan?”

Enter the phone number for your


mobile device and tap “Send”

Open the text message and tap Tap “Open”

5. You can test Okta Verify by logging into https://purpleid.okta.com and tapping the “Enroll/Test Multi-factor
Authentication” icon on your dashboard.

Tap “Send Push” to send a push notification sent to your mobile device. Tap “Approve” in the Okta Verify
mobile app to complete the sign in. Optionally, you can tap “Or enter code” and enter the one-time password
displayed in the Okta Verify app.
